After stating the assumptions, a mixed integer nonlinear programming model was built to solve the vehicle routing problem (VRP) based on the strategy of replenishment on the way with regions-integrated. Since the problem is NP-hard and existing algorithms can not be used directly, according to the model's specific configuration, a heuristic algorithm was developed based on the geometrical analysis, by which the replenishment locations on the way and the distribution route can be ascertained by secondary search and batch insert.
