Latar belakang dari penelitian ini mengantisipasi kelangkaan dan kenaikan harga minyak dan gas akibat tidak adanya subsidi dari pemerintah, sehingga memanfaatkan pelepah pisang sebagai briket yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui optimalisasi penggunaan briket biorang berbahan dasar pelepah pisang dan mengaplikasikannya melalui proses pembakaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental dengan melakukan pendekatan secara kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan adalah arang pelepah pisang  dan tepung tapioca sebagai perekat dengan perbandingan 60%;40%, 55%;45% dan 50%;50%. Analisis yang dilakukan antara lain : kadar air, densitas, nilai kalor dan laju pembakaran. Aceh Province is the westernmost province of the Indonesian archipelago. Geographically, Aceh is a peninsula area of the island of Sumatra which is directly bordered by the Indian Ocean so that Aceh has several small islands. With this condition, it has the potential to be used as a place for seaweed cultivation. An analysis of environmental conditions is needed to produce good quality seaweed. Examination parameters include pH, temperature, heavy metal content, COD and salinity. Sample examination is carried out based on Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) No. 7578.1: 2010 and Decree of the Minister of Environment (KemenLH) No. 51: 2004. The results obtained showed a pH level of 6.22; temperature of ± 28 oC; levels of lead metal ions (Pb (II)) 0.001 ppm and copper (Cu (II) metal ions of 0.002 ppm; The COD level is 137 ppm and the salinity level is 28.75 ppm. Valorisasi jeroan ikan tongkol sebagai sumber enzim lipase menjadi teknologi yang menjanjikan pada bidang bioteknolgi. Pada penelitian ini, pankreas dari jeroan ikan tongkol diekstraksi sebagai sumber kasar enzim cair lipase dan dikarakterisasi pH optimumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi protein pada pankreas ikan tongkol adalah 4.615 mg/ml. Enzim lipase yang diperoleh memiliki aktivitas berkisar antara pH 4 -  9, dengan pH optimum pada pH 9 dan nilainya mencapai 11.962 U/ml. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi salah satu cara untuk mengkonversi jeroan ikan tongkol menjadi produk yang bernilai ekonomi dan aplikatif serta meminimalisir pencemaran lingkungan yang disebabkan oleh limbah perikanan.Indonesia particularly Aceh, is rich in marine and fisheries resources such as tongkol (Euthynnus affinis). Valorization of tuna’s viscera as a source of lipase enzymes is a promising technology in biotechnology. In this study, the pancreas from tuna’s viscera was extracted for the production of lipase enzyme and characterized by its optimum pH. The results showed that the protein concentration of pancreas was 4,615 mg/ml. The lipase enzyme has activity ranging from pH 4 - 9, with an optimum at pH 9 and reaches 11.962 U/ml. Safety Climate yang tinggi menggambarkan bahwa perusahaan sudah memiliki persepsi yang sama. Sedangkan Safety Climate yang rendah menggambarkan bahwa perusahaan masih memiliki persepsi yang berbeda. Dan perbedaan persepsi di dalam perusahaan menyebabkan terjadinya kecelakaan kerja. Karena kecelakaan kerja berawal dari perilaku tidak aman, dan perilaku tidak aman berawal dari persepsi kerja yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keselamatan kerja di Perusahaan Perkebunan PT XYZ dimana setiap tahunnya masih terjadi kecelakaan kerja. Pengukuran ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode The Nordic Occupational Safety Climate Questionnaire (NOSACQ-50) yang terdiri dari 7 dimensi iklim kerja. Berdasarkan hasil uji Mann Whitney dan Kruskal Wallis dinyatakan tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan Safety Climate di kelompok jabatan, jenis kelamin, umur dan lama bekerja. Sedangkan pada kelompok pendidikan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan untuk dimensi pemberdayaan keselamatan kerja, sehingga perlu diberikan suatu usulan perbaikan iklim keselamatan untuk meningkatkan iklim keselamatan di perusahaan agar tidak terjadi lagi kecelakaan kerja di tahun beriktunya.The safety climate is a shared perception between company management and workers in dealing with safety-related issues within the company. A high level of safety reflects that companies already have the same perception. While the low work safety climate illustrates that companies still have different perceptions. And differences in perception within the company cause work accidents. Because work accidents stem from unsafe behavior, and unsafe behavior begins with different perceptions of work. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the safety of work at Factory Plant where every year there are work accidents. This measurement is done by using The Nordic Occupational Safety Climate Questionnaire (NOSACQ-50) which consists of 7 working climate dimensions Based on test results Mann Whitney and Kruskal Wallis stated there is no significant difference in work safety climate in the occupational group, sex, age and duration of work. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada S. cumini sebagai salah satu tanaman berkhasiat obat yang sudah mulai diteliti dalam khasiatnya sebagai tanaman yang mengandung senyawa bioaktif. Kehadiran teknologi GCMS ditengah belum adanya database tanaman jamblang merupakan peluang alternatif untuk memperoleh metabolom. Database metabolom pada jamblang penting dimiliki untuk menjaga plasma nutfah dari ekploitasi berlebihan yang menyebabkan kepunahan organisme dan budidaya tanaman tersebut. Dengan adanya penelitian inventarisasi level molekuler senyawa antioksidan yang dikandung tanaman jamblang dapat meningkatkan aktivitas penelitian lanjut pemanfaatan tanaman jamblang yang bisa ditingkatkan dalam skala industri nantinya. Untuk menjawab tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan tahapan penelitian sebagai berikut, pada tahap awal dilakukan isolasi metabolom dari kulit buah tanaman jamblang dengan cara ekstraksi. Tahap kedua adalah metabolome analysis menggunakan GCMS. Keluaran dari penelitian ini adalah diperolehnya data tentang hasil GCMS yang memuat senyawa bioaktif yang terkandung pada kulit buah tanaman jamblang yang akan menjadi landasan pengembangan pemanfaatan kulit buah jamblang sebagai antioksidan alternatif pencegah penyakit degenerasi. Pada penelitian selanjutnya perlu dilakukan analisis yang sama pada bagian tanaman jamblang lain untuk melengkapi database yang sudah ada.This research aims to create an antioxidant inventory databases of the Jamblang (Syzygium cumini) plant by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometer (GCMS) approach.  This database can be used as the basis for the development of S. cumini as an alternative natural antioxidant to prevent cell damage, cancer and reduce disease incidence degenerative. This research is focused on S. cumini as one of the medicinal plants that have been studied in its usefulness as a plant containing the bioactive compound. The presence of GCMS technology amid the absence of Jamblang plant database is an alternative opportunity to obtain metabolome. The metabolome database in jamblang is important to keep the germplasm from excessive exploitation causing the extinction of the organism and the cultivation of the plant. Molecular level inventory of antioxidant compounds contained jamblang plants can increase research activities further utilization of jamblang plants that can be increased in the industrial scale later. To answer the purpose of this research carried out the following stages of research, in the early stages of metabolome isolation from the skin of jamblang fruit by way of extraction. The second stage is the metabolome analysis using GCMS. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan data potensi limbah minyak jelantah yang dihasilkan dari restoran dan rumah makan di Kota Banda Aceh yang nantinya akan dipakai sebagai data awal dalam penentuan kebijakan pengelolaan limbah minyak jelantah sebagai sumber energi alternatif yaitu biodiesel. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analitis dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dimana untuk mendapatkan jumlah potensi limbah minyak jelantah dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode statistik dengan pengambilan sampel populasi secara acak. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah didapatkannya besaran jumlah potensi limbah minyak jelantah yang dihasilkan oleh sebanyak 52 restoran dan rumah makan berizin yang ada di kota Banda Aceh yaitu sebesar 184,956 liter per harinya.This research was conducted in the city of Banda Aceh, Aceh province by sampling a number of licensed restaurants in the city of Banda Aceh. The main objective of this study was to obtain data on the potential waste of used cooking oil from restaurants in the city of Banda Aceh which would later be used as preliminary data in determining the management policy of waste cooking oil as an alternative energy source, namely biodiesel. The method used in this study was a descriptive analytical method with a quantitative approach where to obtain the potential amount of waste used cooking oil is done using statistical methods with randomly population sampling technique. Sungai Krueng Tukah mengalami perubahan  kondisi sungai, tataguna lahan dan pertumbuhan penduduk sehingga sungai tidak lagi berfungsi secara optimal. Banjir pada Sungai Krueng Tukah menimbulkan kerusakan bangunan, lahan pertanian, dan lingkungan hidup. Hal ini terjadi di Kabupaten Pidie, khususnya di Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Krueng Tukah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan volume tampang sungai Krueng Tukah dalam menampung debit periode ulang Q2, Q5, Q10, Q25 sampai Q50 tahun dengan menggunakan Program HEC-RAS 5.0.3 dan memberikan solusi persoalan banjir yang ada di sepanjang sungai. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus. Lokasi penelitian adalah Sungai Krueng Tukah, Kota Sigli, Kabupaten Pidie, Aceh Data primer diperoleh dengan melakukan survei topografi dan pengamatan langsung kondisi sungai dan wawancara. Data sekunder berupa data curah hujan dari stasiun Keumala, Kota Bakti dan Padang Tiji. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Curah hujan R2 sebesar 94,85 mm, R5=125,56 mm, R10= 48.65 mm, R25=181,21 mm dan R50=211,82 mm. Debit banjir diperoleh sebesar Q2=59,28 m3/det, Q5=96,05 m3/det, Q10=123,71 m3/det, Q25=155,52 m3/det dan Q50=201,47 m3/det. Dari hasil perhitungan terlihat Sungai Krueng Tukah tidak mampu menampung banjir lebih dari Q25 tahun. Penanganan normalisasi sungai dan kolam retensi adalah upaya penanganan banjir sungai Krueng Tukah yang harus dilakukan.Krueng Tukah River with a catchment area 59.51 Km2 and length is 25 km and downstream into the Malacca Strait. The Krueng Tukah River experienced changes in river conditions, land use, and population growth so that the river no longer functioned optimally. Floods on the Krueng Tukah River caused damage to buildings, agricultural land, and the environment. This happened in Pidie District, especially in the Krueng Tukah catchment area. This study aims to analyze the bankfull capacity of the Krueng Tukah river to accommodate return period Q2, Q5, Q10, Q25 to Q50 years with the HEC-RAS 5.0.3 Program and provide solutions to flood problems the river. The method used is a case study. The research locations were the Krueng Tukah River, Sigli City, Pidie District, Aceh. Primary data was obtained by topographic surveys and field observation of river conditions and interviews. Secondary data in the form of rainfall data from Keumala Station, Bakti City, and Padang Tiji. The results showed that R2 rainfall was 94.85 mm, R5 = 125.56 mm, R10 = 48.65 mm, R25 = 181.21 mm and R50 = 211.82 mm. Flow discharge was obtained at Q2 = 59.28 m3 / sec, Q5 = 96.05 m3 / sec, Q10 = 123.71 m3 / sec, Q25 = 155.52 m3 / sec and Q50 = 201.47 m3 / sec. The calculation results, it was that the Krueng Tukah River was unable to accommodate floods for more than Q25 years. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kembali rayap Leucopitermes leucops di Stasiun Penelitian Suaq Balimbing, Taman Nasional Gunung Leuser. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode belt-transek. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan deskripsi karakter morfologi Leucoptermes leucops menunjukkan bahwa karakter kapsul kepala pada kasta prajurit dan mandibel pada kasta pekerja menjadi karakter kunci untuk membedakan Leucopitermes leucops dengan spesies dari genus yang sama maupun dengan spesies Subulitermes-group lainnya.Leucopitermes leucops is a termite species of soil feeding-nasute or Subulitermes-groups its classification by \"soil\" feeders. This termite has an important role in the decomposition process of soil organic matter. Currently, the taxonomy of this group is still difficult to understand and experience a number of revisions. This study aims to re-describe of Leucopitermes leucops in Suaq Balimbing Research Station. The method used was a standardized sampling protocol (belt transect) method. The method used is Direct Observation and Participatory Rural Appraisal through interview with the healer (physician) and the community of drug users.
