It is revealed that one of the perspective ways is to use runners with additional shortened blades - splitters. The description and characteristics of the test stand in the laboratory of hydromachines of the A. Pidgorny Institute of mechanical engineering problems of the NAS of Ukraine (IPMash) and their compliance with the requirements of the International Standard for conducting research of hydraulic machines is presented. The description of methods of design and manufacture of four variants of runners with splitters with different lengths: 50, 65, 80 and 100% relative to the main blade is presented. For all variants of flow parts, experimental characteristics in pump mode were obtained and plotted. The influence of the splitter geometrical parameters on the values of maximum efficiency and the parameters of the optimum mode are revealed. The dependences of efficiency and head on the flow rate for all variants of runners with splitters at different values of the guide vane opening are given. The effect of splitter length on the energy characteristics of the pump-turbine in the pump mode is revealed. The comparison of energy and pressure characteristics of flow parts with seven- and eight-blade runners is given.","PeriodicalId":115140,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133843631","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The analysis results provided a quantitative assessment of the impact of transformer load on the drift intensity of oil indicators. In particular, the dependencies of the induction period duration (time during which the values of indicators do not change) and the values of oil indicators increments after 25 years of operation on the average transformer load for a given period were obtained. It has been established that formation of water-soluble acids (the most dangerous oxidation products) in oil occurs only in transformers whose average load has exceeded 50% during the last 13 years. Increase of transformer load from 10 to 50% leads to 3.5 times increase of organic acids content after 25 years of operation (from 0.029 to 0.102 mg KOH per 1 $g$ of oil). The obtained results allow using more advanced methods of transformer oils condition assessment (for example, trajectory method or methods based on regression models), but also forecasting their values.","PeriodicalId":115140,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129084297","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As an example of such a BTS, there is a proposed medical device for the early diagnostic of latent Diabetes mellitus type 2 (DM2) with a long latent period during which its late vascular and neurological complications are already developing. This article demonstrates the effectiveness of using the original mathematical model of the carbohydrate exchange regulation system to convert the clinical data of the simplest glucose tolerance test - the oral test (OGTT) - into the characteristics of the “hyperglycemic clamp”. This popular in highly developed countries method is recognized as the “gold standard” of diabetic research, albeit very difficult to carry out, complicated and unsafe for a patient. There was a single-compartmental structural and functional approach to the mathematical modeling of biosystems applied, which was based on the well-known experimental and clinical data, the most important of which were: the character of insulin-dependent glucose utilization and the glucose stimulation of insulin secretion by the pancreas.","PeriodicalId":115140,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"96 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127056980","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But there is no theory to explain the physical process of the impact of the magnetic field on biological objects, so not all active factors have been established and their optimal values have not been determined. Under the influence of the magnetic field changes the rate of reactions that occur in the cell. This changes the degree of electrolytic dissociation of salts, pH and redox potential of the cell solution. The permeability of cell membranes increases in the magnetic field, which leads to increased diffusion of oxygen and water molecules, as well as ion transport. Increasing the concentration of oxygen in the cells reduces the incidence. Magnetic induction is the main factor in magnetic treatment. and the velocity in the magnetic field and its gradient are less significant factors. Based on theoretical and experimental studies, the most effective method of biological objects treatment in a magnetic field is determined: magnetic induction 0.065 T, fourfold remagnetization, magnetic field gradient 0.57 T/m and velocity of motion in a magnetic field 0.4 m/s.","PeriodicalId":115140,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121766825","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The models are used for analyzing stress-strain state of nanocomposite and estimating average elastic characteristics. Matrices of nanocomposites in the form of parallelepipeds with spherical or cylindrical nanoinclusions of different sizes are considered as typical RVE. Finite elements method to determine effective elastic modulus of various RVE of three-dimensional nanocomposites is elaborated. It allows studying the influence of shapes and relative dimensions of inhomogeneities and matrixes of RVE on effective elastic modulus of nanocomposites. Mathematical models and methods of optimized packing are proposed for computer simulation of filling a given volume with spherical and cylindrical nanoinclusions. The proposed approach is suitable for estimating the influence of fraction's volume of nanoscale inclusions, permits analyzing packing the collection of inclusions and provides the possibility for synthesis of multifunctional nanoscale structures with desired properties. Advanced numerical methods are used instead of expensive full-scale experiments. This allows studying high defecting nanocomposites with novel mechanical and technological properties.","PeriodicalId":115140,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133081199","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Such the expressions should be included into simulations of the rotor dynamics in AMBs. This method is based on constructing equivalent substitution schemes and applying the contour flow method to the analysis of magnetic circuits of AMBs. This allows to take into account scattering fluxes and magnetic resistances of sections of the AMBs magnetic circuits and ensures that the mathematical model is not critical in terms of the occurrence of “zero” gaps and currents. This expands its determination borders to almost the boundaries of the complete air gap. The practical applicability of the method was confirmed by designing the AMB for a laboratory rig of the rotor in a combined passive-active magnetic suspension. The reliability of the proposed method is confirmed by comparing the calculated and experimental force characteristics of the AMB and other data.","PeriodicalId":115140,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130135917","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to maintain the quality of electric power at a given level, power active filter compensating devices have been created. They are state-of-the-art filtration technologies and provide an effective solution to most power quality problems associated with harmonious current distortion and reactive power. In case of voltage shape distortion, successive switching of the device through the voltage transformer is used and allows voltage control in a narrow range, as well as damping of quality violations. The effectiveness of such a technical solution depends on several factors, in particular, maintaining the voltage and current of the filter at a given level. Thus, there is a need to develop an automatic voltage and current control system for the active filter. The vector automatic control system has a number of advantages over scalar. It was therefore decided to use it for further research. In a virtual environment, a model of a vector control system was created as part of a three-phase series active filter-compensating device. As a result of the studies, it has been found that the use of the proposed technical solution leads to a reduction of the distortion factor by 10%.","PeriodicalId":115140,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115116342","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
