The main problem to be solved is the need to expand the range of informative parameters used in transmission torque converters of electric motors. This need arises from the design complications of placing the measuring devices directly on the motor shaft.\u0000As part of the study, a system was designed for determining the torques of electric motors, which combines the procedure for assessing the load on the shaft and software tools for visually determining the quantitative characteristics of such a load using machine vision.\u0000In order to acquire visual characteristics of the twisting of the shaft, a special coupling with an insert containing a liquid was designed. This coupling is able to change its shape in proportion to the load on electric motor shaft. The proposed visual control system, based on video information processing techniques, makes it possible to analyze changes in the shape of the coupling caused by the action of the torque.\u0000Features of the application of the proposed measurement technique are that there is no need to place electronic components of the measuring transducer directly on the shaft. Due to the specified features, the proposed procedure provides a solution to the problems of torque measurement in aggressive environments, which is of crucial importance for the efficiency of some specific production processes.\u0000Analysis of the visual characteristics of torque showed that the proposed approach could be applied in measuring transducers. At the same time, the results of testing the procedure confirmed that it requires the use of high-precision video recording equipment. The study provides an assessment of the impact of the urbanization process on the conditions of development of urban edaphotopes and their role in the functioning of urban ecosystems. It was determined that the geochemistry of the soils of urban ecosystems is significantly different from natural landscapes, which is due to the symbiosis of natural and anthropogenic factors. The content of mobile forms of heavy metals in the soil of 14 localities of different functional zones within the city was investigated. A comparative assessment of the spatial heterogeneity of the content of heavy metals in the vegetative organs (root, shoot) of the diagnostic species Polygonum aviculare L. was performed. Based on the sources of emission of heavy metals and the formed geochemical anomalies, a direct dependence was established on their accumulation by the vegetative organs of Polygonum aviculare L. According to the calculated biological absorption coefficient (BAC), high bioavailability for the accumulation of man-made toxicants Cu, Zn, Pb, Cd by the phytomass of Polygonum aviculare L. was proven. It was determined that the content of heavy metals in different parts of the test object is due to their physiological ability to accumulate these toxicants in the root and above ground mass. Active translocation of toxicants from the soil to the roots is characteristic of localities with intense influence of man-made factors, for which the value of the bioavailability coefficient varies within 0.6>BAC<0.85. Correlation coefficients between the content of heavy metals in the atmosphere, soil, and vegetative organs of the plant were determined. The effectiveness of using synthesized ZnO to impart prolonged antibacterial properties to cotton fabrics was assessed by studying the morphology, chemical composition, and bactericidal activity of nanoparticles.\u0000ZnO nanoparticles were synthesized by direct precipitation method at low temperatures in a short time in an aqueous solution using zinc acetate dihydrate and sodium hydroxide as precursors. The average crystallite size calculated using the Scherrer method is 28 nm. The degree of crystallinity according to X-ray diffraction pattern is 93 %.\u0000Using scanning electron microscopy, the formation of nanoparticles of uniform size in the form of short rods was established and the successfully synthesized ZnO phase in the hexagonal wurtzite structure was confirmed. The chemical purity of the crystalline material was confirmed using energy dispersive analysis. The atomic percentages of the elements are 47.6 % and 52.4 % for Zn and O, respectively. Study of the inhibition zone around fabric disks treated with ZnO showed their high bactericidal activity against air microflora and the gram-negative bacterium P. aeruginosa. In the milk proteins research, in addition, there is a need to carry out serial express analyzes of their various groups, as well as the isolation of individual homogeneous fractions. The dimensions of working chambers for analytical, express, and micro preparative electrophoresis of caseins and milk whey proteins were proposed to solve this task. For each type of electrophoresis, different chambers and formers are used without changing the design of the apparatus. The apparatus is suitable for electrophoretic systems used for the analysis of milk proteins. Analysis of casein in the anodic system of a homogeneous polyacrylamide gel in the presence of urea allows identification of the main fractions: αS1-CN-8P, αS1-CN-9P, αS2-CN-10P, αS2-CN-11P, αS2-CN-12P, αS2-CN-13P, β-CN-5P, ϰ-CN-1P and three β-casein fragments f(29-209), f(106-209) and f(108-209). Express electrophoresis in the presence of urea reveals four fractions of caseins: αS1-CN, αS2-CN, β-CN, and ϰ-CN. The analysis of whey proteins in the Davis native disc electrophoresis system allows identification of β-Lg A, β-Lg B, α-La, BSA fractions, and a group of immunoglobulin fractions. The express electrophoregram differs by a common band A and B variants of β-Lg. Due to an adequate selection of electrophoretic systems, it is possible to identify semi-quantitatively all the main fractions of milk proteins under analytical or express mode. The adapted apparatus also makes it possible to conduct micro preparative electrophoresis and obtain the main fractions of milk proteins. In this case, the yield of electrophoretically pure proteins is: β-CN-5P (23±5 %), β-Lg (A+B) (27±6 %), α-La (11±3 %), and purified groups of αS1-CN-8P+αS1-CN-9P (25±6 %), αS2-CN-(10-13P) (6±1.5 %) and ϰ-CN-1P (7±2 %). The problem in this research is the imbalance in energy consumption across clusters, which has an impact on battery life and affects network performance. Other problems include selecting a cluster head that is not focused so that it is difficult to balance network performance as well as computational limitations that require optimization. The results obtained from this research are in the form of optimizing the leaching algorithm by modifying the clustering-based leaching algorithm that will be used in wireless sensor networks. In carrying out modifications, this research uses several stages in the process of selecting sensor nodes that will become members who function as cluster heads in a cluster that will be used in a wireless sensor network. In the LEACH (Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy) algorithm the cluster head will be selected based on the modified probability value. Modifying the algorithm by considering two factors, namely distance and remaining energy used in the Cluster Head selection process on the network and increasing network usage time must be based on the energy consumption used and then compared with the remaining energy. When modifying the LEACH (Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy) algorithm, it is necessary to pay attention to the distance factor between the nodes on a sensor and the selected cluster so that it can result in increased network performance. Network lifetime is indicated by the average death time of the first Node in the network. The study solved the problem related to the destruction of concrete and wall frescoes under the long-term influence of biochemical and climatic factors.\u0000Samples of concrete for research and wall murals were obtained from a historic listed building. Using microbiological studies and scanning electron microscopy, damage to wall murals and concrete by microscopic fungi was established: Aspergillus fumigatus, Penicillium brevicompactum, Aspergillus niger, Cladosporium sphaerospermum.\u0000The study of concrete samples by the TPD-MS method showed the presence of an increased level of moisture and carbon compounds by 20 % in the test samples, compared to control. The sulfur content in all concrete samples was not significant. Determination of the mineral composition of concrete by X-ray diffraction showed the presence of Al2O3, 36–44 %, which indicates a significant clay content. The presence of NiTi, 53 %, and СoMg7O8, 46 %, in the concrete sample indicates the probable migration of the chemical elements of the paint pigments used to decorate the cathedral. The concrete control sample contained a significant amount of SiO2, up to 51 %, which is the main component of sand. A feature of the work is the determination of the corrosion effect on concrete under prolonged exposure to climatic and biological factors. The present study is distinguished by the use of non-destructive methods: microbiological studies, scanning electron microscopy, TPD-MS and X-ray diffraction to determine the destruction of concrete and wall frescoes of the building, which is a cultural heritage. The problem solved in this study is the insufficient efficiency of generating corpora of text data by the CorDeGen method according to the speed criterion.\u0000Based on the analysis of the abstract CorDeGen method – the steps it consists of, the algorithm that implements it – the possibilities of its parallelization have been determined. As a result, two new modified methods of the base CorDeGen method were developed: “naive” parallel and parallel. These methods differ from each other in whether they preserve the order of terms in the generated texts compared to the texts generated by the base method (“naive” parallel does not preserve, parallel does). Using the .NET platform and the C# programming language, the software implementation of both proposed methods was performed in this work; a property-based testing methodology was used to validate both implementations.\u0000The results of efficiency testing showed that for corpora of sufficiently large sizes, the use of parallel CorDeGen methods speeds up the generation time by 2 times, compared to the base method. The acceleration effect is explained precisely by the parallelization of the process of generating the next term – its creation, calculation of the number of occurrences of texts, and recording – which takes most of the time in the base method. This means that if it is necessary to generate sufficiently large corpora in a limited time, in practice it is reasonable to use the developed parallel methods of CorDeGen instead of the base one. The main hypothesis of the study assumed that combining two small-sized radars into a network could improve the quality of detection of stealth unmanned aerial vehicles with incoherent signal processing.\u0000The improved method for detecting a stealth unmanned aerial vehicle by a network of two small-sized radars with incoherent signal processing, unlike the known ones, provides for the following:\u0000– synchronous inspection of the airspace by small-sized radars;\u0000– sounding signal emission by each small-sized radar;\u0000– reception of echo signals from a stealth unmanned aerial vehicle by two small-sized radars;\u0000– coordinated filtering of incoming echo signals (separation of echo signals);\u0000– quadratic detection of signals at the outputs of matched filters;\u0000– summation of the detected signals at the outputs of the matched filters;\u0000– summation of the outputs of adders of two small-sized radars.\u0000The scheme of a stealth unmanned aerial vehicle detector is presented, optimal according to the Neumann-Pearson criterion, with incoherent signal processing.\u0000The quality of detection of a stealth unmanned aerial vehicle by a network of two small-sized radars with incoherent signal processing was evaluated. It was found that with incoherent processing, the gain in the value of the conditional probability of correct detection is on average from 19 % to 26 %, depending on the value of the signal-to-noise ratio. The gain in the value of the conditional probability of correct detection is greater at low values of the signal-to-noise ratio. The combustion method as the main method is time-consuming. The test needs 3 hours to get the result. In order to find a new fast method for drying determinant, the resistivity method was proposed for rainbow coconut shell charcoal briquettes. The briquettes had a length of 3.8 cm, height of 2.2 cm, and width of 2 cm with a half-tubular top side. 50 samples of each three drying conditions (wet, half-dry, and dry) of the same drying batch were collected. These conditions were determined by a drying expert of a coconut shell charcoal briquette company. Then, the resistances were measured and the geometrical factor was applied to find their resistivities. A model of resistivity in the cross-sectional layer was also applied to find the coefficients of front-tail, base-top, and side-side directions. These coefficients became a special way to find the position of the wet part in half-dry briquettes. The results of the work show that resistivities in combination with their distribution can potentially be used for fast drying stop determinant. The wet and dry briquettes have a resistivity difference order of 102. The resistivities of the wet and dry briquettes are 450 kiloohms and 28 megaohms for every centimeter of length, respectively. The half-dry and dry briquettes have the same order of resistivities. However, the resistivity distribution of both conditions is very different. The dry briquettes have homogenous resistivities among the measurements emphasizing the drying process of the solid. It was also found that the half-dry briquette has a surface dry part until 0.55 cm depth. Underlying the technology is the application of a high-power electron beam to fuse metal powder in a vacuum chamber with the formation of successive layers that repeat the contours of the digital model of the product.\u0000The object of research is the process of surfacing products made of Ti6Al4V titanium alloy powder. The influence of technological parameters (speed and power of the electron beam) on the formation of the structure of the deposited metal and its mechanical properties was investigated.\u00003 samples printed under 3 modes were studied: beam speed, 270, 540, and 780 mm/s; power, 240, 495, and 675 W, respectively. The beam energy density was 44.5 J/mm3; the trajectory displacement step was 0.2 mm; the dynamic focusing current Idf was –0.31 A; and the powder layer thickness was 0.1 mm.\u0000The samples were examined by conventional methods. The structures were studied using an optical microscope, images were recorded with a camera. The Vickers hardness was measured with a microhardness meter in the direction from the technological supports to the surface of the sample, as well as along the surface of the product, and in the layers of the middle part of the sample.\u0000It was established that the articles had a dense cast structure of surfaced metal. On all samples, large crystallites with a uniform lamellar-acicular structure of α´-phase with a small amount of β-phase are formed along the height, mostly without defects with uniform microhardness both along the height and along the surface.\u0000It was determined that the surfacing mode at beam speed, 240 mm/s; power, 270 W is the most rational for practical use.
