Visitor's engagement with heritage sites is a traditional view to explore the informal learning spaces in the cultural sector (Budge & Burness, 2018). Informal learning within heritage sites, however, has been informed and changed by the digitization and virtualization in the cultural sector (King, Stark & Cooke, 2016). But this generates new research interests to establish links between the traditional and the digital cultural studies (eg. Turkle, 2013; Bland, 2014; Fitzgerald, 2015). This paper discussed several cases to show how digital technologies inform visitor's engagement with heritage sites. In this way, this paper also explores the informal learning in the digital era.\u0000\u0000\u0000Keywords: Engagement, informal learning, digital heritage sites, digital technologies in cultural sector.

In this paper, we describe the major social and economic characteristics of the CIS countries and examine the impact of sanctions on the Russian economy, Russian trade with other CIS countries, and the exchange rate of the Russian ruble. We assess the interconnectedness between the GDPs and foreign exchange markets of Russia and other CIS countries. We demonstrate how sanctions have affected the Russian economy and foreign exchange market and how their impact may spill over to the economies and foreign exchange markets of other CIS countries. Based on the research findings and contemporary political and economic conditions in the region and the world, we make suggestions helpful for improving the international economic and trade policies of the CIS countries. Based on the statistical features of the data, a combination of the vector autoregressive (VAR) model and the Granger causality test (Granger 1969) were used in the estimations. Pre-tests for a unit root and cointegration were implemented before estimating the VAR model. If the first differences of the variables did not have a unit root and there was no cointegration relation (long-run relationship) between the variables, the VAR model was used. Otherwise, a vector-error correction model (VECM) was used.\u0000\u0000\u0000Keywords: The Commonwealth of Independent States; interconnectedness; sanctions

The selection of personnel in an international environment is a challenge that has been the subject of heated debate for decades, both in practice and in theory. Wrong decisions are cost-intensive and possibly contribute to economic failure. The aim of the present study was to test machine learning algorithms - as sub-disciplines of Artificial Intelligence (AI) - on a low-coding basis. For this purpose, a fictitious use case with a corresponding data set of 75 managers was generated and its applicability in relation to personnel selection for an international task was tested. The results show that with very little programming effort, the ML algorithm achieved an accuracy of over 80% when selecting suitable managers for international assignments - based on the international experience of this group of people. The linear discriminant analysis has proven to be particularly suitable. Both the training and validation data provided values above 80%.\u0000\u0000\u0000Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, International Experience, Manager, Machine Learning

This study is based on an examination of existing literature, specifically on women leaders who were successful in times of crisis and the characteristics that contributed to their success. One such recent crisis is the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and according to several publications, female leaders all over the world managed to tackle the COVID-19 situation more effectively than their male counterparts. These women were reportedly responding more promptly and communicating more effectively regarding pandemic strategies. This success was attributed to these women's unique characteristics when compared to male leaders. In order to comprehend these characteristics and how these women leaders were successful during times of crisis, this article reviewed the relevant past literature. However, there were some contradicting findings stating that female leaders were indifferent to male leaders during the pandemic period. These findings represent a significant first step in comprehending the crisis responses of female leaders, which can identify new research avenues in the Malaysian context.\u0000\u0000\u0000Keywords: Crisis; COVID-19; Leadership; Women; Characteristics

This greatly affects the purchasing power of the people to meet their basic needs. Sensitivity to the price and availability of rice is not only felt at the level of ordinary people who consume rice, but also at the level of farmers who produce rice who still have the risk of food insecurity, due to the lag in the planting and production periods, as well as the risk of crop failure. This study will analyze the food security strategy in Indonesia with the support of various literature data. The purpose of this research is to map the strategies implemented in Indonesia by policy makers, businesses, farmers in maintaining and supporting food productivity. Waqf, at the time, became popular amongst Muslims in the Malay Peninsula. It brought about remarkable changes to the communities and the standard of living, and the world's outlook on the inhabitants (Mahamood, 2006). The building of mosques like the Kg. Hulu Mosque in Malacca, the Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque in Johor, and the Kg Laut Mosque in Kelantan are momentous examples of the early and firm establishment of Waqf in Malaysia (Sayin, 1994a). During the early stages of Waqf in the Malay states, the community organizers were responsible for managing the waqf assets' trusteeship. The trustees were responsible for the organization, its control, and Waqf management to benefit the beneficiaries. However, the purchases were not documented or evidenced to be used for Waqf. The lack of proper documentation caused different issues, like claims made by the heirs over the asset after the asset owner passed away, leading to the inability to use the asset for Waqf. Waqf properties during the colonization period from 1511 to 1946 witnessed many changes in their development. A notable difference was that waqf management's responsibility gradually shifted to the respective Majlis Agama Islam Negeri or State Islamic Religious Councils (SIRCs).\u0000\u0000\u0000Keywords: Waqf, Shari'ah governance, Majlis Agama Islam, and Malaysia

With the aid of in-person interviews using a pre-tested questionnaire, a semi-structured interview schedule, and an open discussion method, primary data were gathered for the study from 250 sampling observations from various stakeholders, including 105 farmers and 145 intermediaries in various channels. The findings showed that the average cost of production for one kilogram of palm sugar was 5,302 VND. There are three main channels in the marketing chain: Farmers, Middlemen, Wholesalers, Retailers, and Consumers in Channel 1, Farmers, Wholesalers, Retailers and Consumers in Channel 2, and Farmers, Retails, and Consumers in Channel 3. Channel 3 has the greatest marketing efficiency, at 19.52%, followed by Channels 2 and 1, at 18.36% and 15.76%, respectively. Additionally, Channels 1 and 2 have lower monopoly index values than Channel 3, suggesting trader dominance in the marketing of palm sugar products. It also demonstrates how little influence artisans have on the product price. An enterprise that aids artisans in selling palm sugar, Chau Lang village, must grow. In order to encourage the Khmer to continue working in the village as they have done for generations, it is important to find how to help these households and boost the income from palm sugar production.\u0000\u0000\u0000Keywords: Brown Palm Sugar, Production Cost, Marketing Channel, Craftsmen.

In addition, preferential policies have been integrated into educational policy and practice. This led to the development of a school curriculum based on ethnicity. Through the lens of critical pedagogy, this paper examines the Dai language curriculum implemented in an ethnically and linguistically diverse school located in Yunnan. The data was collected through conducting in-depth interviews with the school's principal, teachers, and students and observing teaching sessions without participation. An examination found that ethnic Dai pupils were taught language, history, cultures, and Dai values by a Dai school teacher who is the school principal. This has enormous ramifications for Dai students' identity preservation. Yet, when the multicultural curriculum focuses exclusively on the Dai ethnic group despite the presence of other ethnic groups in the school, it contradicts the tenets of multiculturalism and perpetuates educational disparity based on ethnic identity.\u0000\u0000\u0000Keywords: Multicultural Education; Critical Pedagogy; Education Equity; China

Energy is also needed by industry to produce gadgets and provide services. In transportation, energy is needed to move from one point to another point. Due to the increment number of human beings and their changing lifestyle, energy demand is ever increased. Currently, the most commonly used primary energy sources are oil and coal; however, these fossil fuels are non-renewable, unsustainable, and depleted (Sorrell, 2012). Many oil fields have already reached their peak production (Krumdieck, 2010). This decrease poses challenges to oil-dependent economies around the world, including Indonesia. Fossil fuels are also notoriously source of green house gas emission. Indonesia has pledged to reduce its emissions by 29% by 2030 (PLN, 2016). To reach this target, Government Regulation No. 79 of 2014 mandated 23% of the national energy consumed to be supplied by renewable energy (RE) by 2025. Indonesia has a variety of RE resources (RES), including biomass, hydropower, geothermal, municipal solid waste (MSW), ocean, and solar. As Indonesia is an agricultural-based economy, expansive farms provide waste biomass, especially from the production of palm oil and rice. They produce straw, rice husks, leaves, trunks, and other waste materials (Weldekidan, et al., 2020). Located at the intersection of the Ring of Fire and the Alpide belt, Indonesia is estimated to have the greatest geothermal potential in the world. Moreover, as two-thirds of the Indonesian territory are covered by water, hydropower and ocean energy can be used (Farizal and Asri, 2018). However, as most RES require more capital investment than fossil fuel and are not as technologically mature as their fossil fuel counterparts, selecting which RES to develop is important. In energy planning, especially when planning RES to substitute fossil fuel, an energy source is selected not only due to its potential availability (abundant resource) but also its dependability, reliability, cost as well as its accessibility.\u0000\u0000\u0000Keywords: Renewable energy, energy mix, optimization, mixed integer non linear programming.
