The conventional solution is to use smoothing algorithm, but recently a new technique is proposed, which reconstructs the spatial covariance matrix in Toeplitz pattern and no longer be affected by coherency. In this paper, an improved algorithm based the new technique is proposed, which can reduce the computational burden. Finally, a 2-D coherent DOA estimation method using 3-aixs crossed array is suggested. In this paper, we propose efficient method that has AODV protocol advantage and the property of power efficiency and reliable data transmission in the hospital or home environment. By employing fractal-shaped geometry of the microstripline, the physical size of the proposed structure reduced significantly compared with the size of the conventional structures, and by employing dual plane arrangement and the square and linear Chebyshev tapering techniques, the proposed structure achieves wideband with high attenuation in the stopband and low ripple level in the passband. To achieve this goal, the classic techniques of spectral averaging and diagonal loading are integrated into the beamforming, with the former aiming at decorrelation and the latter at robustness against DOA uncertainties. Moreover, the optimal loading is selected based on worst-case performance optimization and a simple closed-form solution to it is suggested after some approximations. Besides its simplicity and low computational cost, this analytical solution reveals how different factors affect the optimal loading. Compared with many relevant methods, the proposed one achieves better robustness against DOA uncertainties, while suppressing both correlated and uncorrelated interferences effectively. By scanning the transmitting and receiving antenna pair (T-R pair) to focus microwave onto target on the other side of LHM lens and recording the intensity distribution of microwave field backscattered from the target and refocused by the LHM lens, the image of the target under detection can be formed simply by screening the recorded backscattered fields.
