It is based on combined (sequential) exposure of the tonsils to laser radiation of violet (405 nm wavelength) and red (650 wavelength) spectral regions at a power density of 25 mW/cm for 3 minutes for each amygdala for 7 days. It was shown that laser therapy according to the above method has positive anti-inflammatory, decongestant and antimicrobial effects. Moreover, the antimicrobial effect of laser radiation is due to the excitation of endogenous porphyrin and flavin photosensitizers, localized mainly in pathogenic microflora. The high efficiency of generation of singlet oxygen by these compounds is capable of realizing the bactericidal action of light without introducing exogenous photosensitizers.","PeriodicalId":11283,"journal":{"name":"Doklady of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus","volume":"21 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85394283","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the main problems in synaptic transmission modelling is the lack of the accurate values of dynamic parameters of biomolecules and complexes taking part in this process. The goal of this study is to elaborate the method for evaluation of synaptic transmission parameters that cannot be measured directly (so-called hidden parameters) and apply its results for investigation of the main stages of synaptic transmission in neuronets of hippocampus. The method is based on the parametric identification of the synaptic transmission deterministic model, which includes equations for description of inhibitors action on the main biochemical participants. We used three inhibitors: cilnidipine, 1.2-        bis(2-aminophenoxy)ethane-N,N,N',N'-tetraacetic acid tetrakis(acetoxymethyl ester) (BAPTA-AM), 6-cyano-7-nitroquinoxaline-2,3-dione (CNQX). The parametric identification was performed by minimization of deviation of modeled field excitatory postsynaptic potential from those measured in rat hippocampus slices with microelectrode technique when inhibitors were applied. The results of the parametric identification of proposed model show that the model can adequately describe the generation of field excitatory postsynaptic potentials and their inhibition. The elaborated method afforded to evaluate the numerical meanings of eleven synaptic transmission hidden parameters. Using these parameters we have modelled the key synaptic transmission stages and got the time courses of the main biochemical participants: calcium ions in presynaptic bouton, SNARE complexes, synaptic vesicles in different states, glutamate in the synaptic cleft and open channels of AMPA receptor on the postsynaptic membrane. Thus, we propose method of hidden parameters evaluation that can be applied for different synaptic contacts in the brain of mammalians.","PeriodicalId":11283,"journal":{"name":"Doklady of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus","volume":"86 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90939336","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It was shown that the ingestion of N-acetylcysteine, as well as its combined use with coenzyme A biosynthesis precursors (D-panthenol or D-pantetin) against the background of aluminum neurotoxicosis, leads to a marked decrease in the production of reactive oxygen species by mitochondria, a decrease in the production of thiobarbituric acid reactive substances, and normalization of GSH content and its biosynthesis in brain tissue. The results indicate a high efficiency of the biosynthesis precursor of glutathione N-acetylcysteine in the prevention of oxidative stress in the chronic model of aluminum neurotoxicosis, which may be the rationale for its use as a modulator of mitochondrial redox status in the development of neurodegenerative pathology.","PeriodicalId":11283,"journal":{"name":"Doklady of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus","volume":"2 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73286233","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of our research was to study the allelic polymorphism of Antocyanin 1 orthologs in the vegetable Solanaceae crops of C. annuum and S. melongena. The search revealed the following closest genes in C. annuum: Myb113-like1 TF and Myb113like2 transcription factors and Myb1 in S. melongena. Exon amplicons of those genes were obtained and then sequenced in the pepper and eggplant samples with contrasting anthocyanin fruit coloration. Primers to the identified polymorphisms were developed and their correlation with the anthocyanin accumulation in fruits was studied. A close correlation was found between a minimum accumulation or the complete absence of anthocyanin synthesis in fruits with a single nucleotide deletion (Myb113-like1), and in the pepper samples, 2 SNP (Myb113-like2) was detected using the CAPS marker Myb 113-AccI. In the eggplant samples, the deletions of 6 and 26 bp were detected using the SCAR marker MybMel and the CAPS marker MybmelPst1. The disturbance of anthocyanin synthesis in pepper forms with 1Indel in Myb113-like1 TF was determined by a shift in the reading frame and SNPs in Myb113-like2 TF lead to amino acid substitutions: Lys → Arg and Thr → Lys. In the eggplant, a deletion of 6 bp leads to the loss of ala and arg in the protein; a deletion of 26 bp causes disorder during the mRNA maturation. The developed markers allow identifying the Myb-like TF alleles under study, resulting in anthocyanin synthesis disturbance in fruits. C. annuum and S. melongena samples with different alleles were selected for a further study and new varieties in agriculture. ","PeriodicalId":11283,"journal":{"name":"Doklady of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus","volume":"46 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78750803","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Prolonged exposure to high ROS concentrations may lead to cardiovascular, neurodegenerative, etc. diseases. In this study, gallocyanine has been proposed to register the ROS production. The gallocyanine spectral properties changes under ROS (•О2ˉ, H2O2) and reactive halogen (HOCl) species are analyzed. It is shown that the dye is oxidized in solution, both under the action of ROS and reactive halogen species. Based on the data obtained, it is possible to suggest that superoxide anion radicals make a major contribution to chemical conversion of the dye in suspensions of activated neutrophils. It is that gallocyanine can be used to assess the functional activity of neutrophils, namely, the NADPH-oxidase, as well as to design and test novel therapeutic agents for diseases associated with developing oxidative stress.","PeriodicalId":11283,"journal":{"name":"Doklady of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus","volume":"61 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79877041","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the present work, the cumulative charge was used to disperse powder microparticles to speeds of 2500 m/s and to study the processes of collision of high-speed particle flows with an obstacle. The purpose of the work is to study the features of electromagnetic radiation in the collision of a high-speed flow of particles with a solid. The study of the resulting pulse of electromagnetic radiation was carried out according to the developed method by measuring the magnetic field induction using Hall sensors. The average value of the magnetic field induction is 45.9 MT. Registration of the ionizing component and evaluation of the radiation energy were determined by the intensity of photodetector illumination (x-ray film). Evaluation of the particle energy along the path length in the emulsion gives a value of 80-100 MeV. It is shown that the process of high-speed collision and interaction of the microparticle flow. with a metal barrier is accompanied by a number of effects that have not yet been studied. As a result of the research, practical results are obtained that confirm the previously proposed hypothesis and allow to supplement the understanding of the nature of the origin of electromagnetic radiation in the collision of a high-speed flow of particles with a metal barrier in the conditions of their penetration.","PeriodicalId":11283,"journal":{"name":"Doklady of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus","volume":"11 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79409407","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
