Inrapreneurship is an emerging research area under the umbrella of Entrepreneurship. Even though entrepreneurial intentions and behaviors are widely discussed in entrepreneurship literature, it lacks in Intrapreneurship. Under the area of intrapreneurship, it requires emerging behavioral intentions and behaviors exists in an organization for any entrepreneurial initiative. However, the scope of this study limits promoting innovations through intentions and behaviors. Innovations are important to face the competition and ensure survival regardless of the size of the business. Despite this situation, innovations are hardly introduced because of lack of intentions and behaviors. Thus, this study attempts to encourage innovations by intentions and behaviors of individuals. In this context, still, there is a gap in the existing literature to investigate such intentions and behaviors in Intrapreneurship. This study aims to fill this gap by exploring intention-based theories thus contributing to the existing literature. Accordingly, the study provides some useful insights to Theory of Reasoned Actions (TRA), Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), Social Cognitive Theory (SCT), Social Cognitive Career Theory (SCCT), and Entrepreneurial Event Model (EEM). Discussion of these theories helps researchers to understand different psychological factors affecting intentions and behaviors and accordingly decisions can be taken with broader perspective. Thus, this study attempts to provide useful insights to encourage innovation. Future research can focus on these intention-based models to understand the nature of intentions and behaviors in Intrapreneurship which demands more empirical investigations.","PeriodicalId":112641,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132213067","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study uses panel data with a sample of 35 commercial banks in Cambodia from 2017 to 2022 given an observation of 210. The findings showed that among the factors influencing non-performing loans among commercial banks in Cambodia are bank profitability, bank size, and inflation. The results also show that while the loan-to-deposit ratio, bank size, economic growth, and inflation have positive and substantial effects on the profitability of Cambodian banks, the non-performing loans ratio has a negative and significant impact on that profitability. The findings of this study have important implications for policy makers and bank managers and the paper offers significant value in shaping and improving the banking sector of emerging markets. The findings suggest that Cambodian banks should align their loan practices with the state of the economy because NPLs typically rise during economic downturns and fall during stable economic times. To reduce the surge in nonperforming loans brought on by increased lending, banks should develop strong credit risk management practices. And banks should take advantage of their economies of scale to improve data collection on borrowers and lower the number of nonperforming loans.","PeriodicalId":112641,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124167894","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, this paper investigates the deterring factors why it is so. By using descriptive statistics from a sample of 220 Malaysian respondents, it was found that the strong deterring factors why people do not eat rabbit meat are its availability in the market, versatility in cooking as well as its expensive price. Besides, there is also a misconception that rabbit meat has no nutritious effect as opposed to other meats such as chicken and beef. Therefore, it is recommended that awareness should be given to Malaysian consumers about the benefits of consuming rabbit meat, as well as how to cook it to expose the majority of the consumers to its versatility in cooking meats. Besides, incentives and subsidies shall be provided by the government and local authorities to rural producers to tackle the issue of its expensive price.","PeriodicalId":112641,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117308064","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The COVID19 pandemic recently compelled many HEIs to abandon traditional classroom instruction and instantly switch to online learning. The emphasis of the entrepreneurship course, which emphasizes both theoretical and practical aspects, has also been moved online. The impact of online learning engagement on outcomes of entrepreneurship education is yet unknown due to changes in its delivery manner. The main objectives of this paper are to determine the relationship between skill, emotion, and participation of the individual entrepreneurial orientation. To ascertain the consequences of student participation in online learning and personal entrepreneurial orientation, this study attempts to create a novel model (IEO). This study employs Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), Online Student Engagement (OSE) model and the concept of individual entrepreneurial orientation in developing the research model. Methods of quantitative research will be used in this investigation. Data will specifically be gathered using the survey approach of questionnaires. Students enrolled in an entrepreneurial programmed at a nearby public institution make up the population. To guarantee that the sample is representative of students from different faculties, stratified random sampling is used in the selection process. There will be descriptive, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression statistical analysis carried out. This research yields both literary and useful results. The results showed that all moderate linkages between online student engagement and personal entrepreneurial orientation is explained by a new model produced by literacy. In terms of practice, it pinpoints important elements that HEIs must consider while cultivating student entrepreneurs. Additionally, it is essential for advancing government initiatives aimed at creating competitive entrepreneurs, such as the Economic Transformation Program (ETP) and the Malaysian Education Blueprint 2015-2025 (Higher Education).","PeriodicalId":112641,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117172219","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The premises for a promising spin-off are that the technology is soundly founded and the market strategy is carefully considered and solidly planned. Also, the founder profile should prove personal, professional and entrepreneurial aptitudes. Maturity models (MM) can serve as guidelines that support founders in overcoming the discrepancy between the actual and target state in the spin-off process. However, none of the existing MM that has been identified, covers all these three aspects: technology, market and founder. The MM described in this paper should close this gap. The developed MM comprises nine levels and is described by three dimensions: technology, market and founder. The MM is structurally built on two models, Technology Readiness Levels and Market Readiness Levels. The dimension \"Founder\" is divided into four sub-dimensions (personality & motivation, skills & network competencies, team structure & culture and image & support from the university) for which proven success factors were used. The MM was checked for completeness and sequence logic and adapted. Finally, an assessment tool was developed, which was then tested and evaluated - together with the MM - by selected experts. The validation demonstrated a high level of applicability and practical relevance. However, limitations of the MM also became apparent during the evaluation, which offer starting points for further development of the model and the assessment tool. Also, the MM must be empirically checked based on the quality criteria that have been worked out (relevance, objectivity, etc.).","PeriodicalId":112641,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130706127","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Efficient working capital management requires well-balanced funds without which either scarcity of funds will cause obstruction in the smooth functioning of an organization or excess funds will prevent an organization from conducting its operation dexterously. Hence, a great deal of attention must be given to the management of current assets investment in an organization. Management can exercise different sources astutely in financing working capital. In this paper, an attempt has been made to unearth the size of short-term financing pattern used to finance current assets along with the contribution of various sources in the context of the selected five IT sector companies. This paper epitomizes an empirical study of the selected companies in India from diverse perspectives through statistical techniques, tables, secondary data collection strategy accessed through Internet and academic databases viz. literature reviews, website, books, journals, annual reports, etc. from 2012-2013 to 2021-2022. The results of the study show that short-term financing does not meet the full financial requirements of current assets and proportion of various short-term sources in financing working capital requirements has also mixed pattern over the years in the selected units under study.","PeriodicalId":112641,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation","volume":"07 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129327649","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Then one other typical syllabus for the financial management of the firm was examined in detail. A review of the CDR model (Capitalism, Democracy and Rule of law) and its implications are explored in consideration of the finance courses. Traditional business education pedagogy is analyzed as well as the information theory of finance to put in context the need of some improvement. Information theory is introduced as a measure of uncertainty, because it is more dynamic and general than variance in the data. The syllabi tend to overlook the need for an understanding of capital and all its sources, collaboration for research and development, and entrepreneurship. The objective of the paper is to make suggestions for modifying current syllabi to correct these shortcomings. A brief explanation of the CDR model and the effect in the gross domestic product is presented in the appendix.","PeriodicalId":112641,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125421180","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
