In particular, with the revival of artificial intelligence and the re-emergence of machine learning through deep neural networks, many researchers are proposing to incorporate machine learning techniques into systems for disease prediction, diagnosis, or drug design, as part of the individualized medicine that is emerging as a promising way to treat patients. In this work, we focus on personalized medicine through individualized therapy, based on treatment outcomes. For that purpose, we use a convolutional neural network, as a deep learning algorithm known for its effectiveness in features extraction from a given pattern. In our case, a pattern is a collection of variables that describe the treatment and the classes stand for the outcomes of the treatment. Experiments are carried on a public dataset that describes the wart treatment and its results. Experimental results show the potential of the CNN to predict the correct outcome, and hence its benefits in the context of personalized medicine.","PeriodicalId":112478,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Information Systems and Advanced Technologies (ICISAT)","volume":"137 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121379507","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A WSN is made up of nodes that are placed in a target environment and interact with it to detect data. Node deployment, clustering, data aggregation, energy consumption, and localization are all issues that WSNs confront. Localization is one of the most pressing concerns confronting the WSN. To solve the challenge of localization, many measuring methods and algorithms have been proposed. In order to use executing metaheuristics, several scholars have phrased the localization issue as an optimization problem. In terms of performance and accuracy, nature-inspired metaheuristics are viable alternatives to traditional approaches. One of the swarm-based metaheuristics we’re interested in is Chicken Swarm Optimization (CSO). Because of its simplicity and effectiveness, CSO has shown to be quite effective in resolving localization challenges in WSNs. In this research, we present a method for reducing localization error in WSNs and improving CSO performance and efficiency. The suggested method’s efficacy was evaluated and compared to traditional CSO and Particle Swarm Optimization algorithms. The collected findings suggest that the proposed technique lowers localization error in WSNs in a cost-effective way. They also demonstrate that the suggested technique compares with and even exceeds the alternatives.","PeriodicalId":112478,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Information Systems and Advanced Technologies (ICISAT)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116276221","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Several approaches have been proposed and improved in a short time to solve different problems. To tackle exploration’s issues, we present in our work a new approach based on curiosity to generate intrinsic rewards. These latter are related to complex environments with sparse rewards, such as the notorious Montezuma’s Revenge and an even more recent and complicated environment named Obstacle Tower. This type of environments requires the agent to generalize its knowledge, learn high-level planning and low-level control. The results of our experimentations showed that a value-based algorithm (such as Rainbow) can be successfully used with a curiosity-based exploration approach (such as random network distillation). This combination effectively performs better in the Obstacle Tower environment.","PeriodicalId":112478,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Information Systems and Advanced Technologies (ICISAT)","volume":"142 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122442572","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Sufficient nutrition is of great important to the health of pregnant women and infants, and an effective way to prevent birth defects. Pregnancy is a very important period for the formation and development of fetal tissues and organs. Macro-nutrients and micro-nutrients can affect DNA stability by affecting methylation, and they are also the direct regulators of DNA stability and phenotypic adaptability. Nutrients act as substrates, transcription factors and modifying factors of gene expression, and the changes of fetal nutrition may significantly affect offspring’s structure and physiology. Studies show that malnutrition/undernutrition in pregnant women may cause fetal organ dysplasia or retardation, increase the incidence of pregnancy complications, even abortion, stillbirth or fetal malformation, and cause adverse effects on fetal long-term physical development and neurocognitive development. The common nutritional deficiencies in pregnant women include anemia, vitamin A, vitamin D, and iodine deficiency, the rate of vitamin D deficiency in pregnant women was 74.3% in China. In this paper, we first introduce the significance of vitamins during pregnancy, then we describe how to use genetic testing, nutrition blood test, and lifestyles to evaluate the requirement of vitamins during pregnancy, finally we give the personalized nutrition solution for pregnant women.","PeriodicalId":112478,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Information Systems and Advanced Technologies (ICISAT)","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122796352","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The manipulation of such Big amount of data becomes more and more difficult because of its size and its variety. For better governance of organizations (decision making, data analysis, earnings increase …), data quality and data governance at present of Big data are two major pillars for the design of any system handling data within the organization. This explains the number of researches conducted as it constitutes a research subject with several gaps and opportunities. Many works were conducted to define and standardize Data Quality (DQ) and its dimensions, others were directed to design and propose data quality assessment and improvement models or frameworks. This work aims to recall the data quality principles starting by the needed background knowledge, then identify and compare the relevant taxonomies existing in the literature, next surveys and compares the available Data quality assessment and improvement approaches. After that, we propose a metamodel highlighting the main concepts of DQ assessment and we describe a generic process for DQ assessment and improvement. Finally, we evoke the main challenges in the field of DQ before and after the emergence of Big Data.","PeriodicalId":112478,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Information Systems and Advanced Technologies (ICISAT)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131160743","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They achieve their highest performance when they are balanced. A non-balanced Binary Search Tree is no more efficient than a regular linked list. In the present literature, multiple methods to balance Binary Search Tree were proposed. Previous researches have focused on solving the question “What is the best Balanced Binary Search Tree method adapted for data management scenario?”, but recently proposed methods have not been studied yet. In this paper, we have conducted a comparison of classical and most recently balanced Binary Search Trees methods, to allow software developers to choose the most efficient Binary Search Tree method based on the data management problem they face.","PeriodicalId":112478,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Information Systems and Advanced Technologies (ICISAT)","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115752346","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The spread of COVID-19 has shown these difficulties such as the lack of equipment and the failing of patient admission process. Therefore, healthcare systems require quick, newer and more sophisticated solutions that match the speed of technology and the citizens’ aspirations. In this context, we propose in this paper a model for improving and helping hospital managers to orchestrate the patient admission process. The proposed model deals with the hospital bed management in order to ensure a quick patient transfer to the nearest and the most appropriate hospital. The proposed model is based on the coupling of multi-agent an edge computing system. Multi-agent systems represent a powerful choice to develop complex, distributed, dynamic and interactive systems, which represent typically our case. In addition, edge computing ensures a real-time collection of data about the bed’s availability in the neighboring hospitals in order to transfer the patient to the adequate one as quickly as possible.","PeriodicalId":112478,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Information Systems and Advanced Technologies (ICISAT)","volume":"115 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132711466","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to the World Health organization (WHO), breast cancer is the principal cause of cancer death in the last years, especially among women. Following this very alarming finding, research was developed using predictive approaches based on the analysis of a large volume of data. In the literature, data analysis was carried out through data mining using several techniques, especially metaheuristics, to aid in the preventive or predictive decision of breast cancer. In this paper, a recent metaheuristic called Symbiotic Organisms Search (SOS) based on a bio-inspired phenomenon is combined with an Artificial Neural Network (ANN), will be utilized in datamining for a predictive study of breast cancer disease. This paper contains also an intelligent application using the SOS algorithm. The experiments generated very confident results in terms of predictive decision following the classification of data.","PeriodicalId":112478,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Information Systems and Advanced Technologies (ICISAT)","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132819425","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At a rate-1/2, for the same size of the parity matrix to obtain the same encoding and decoding complexity, and using the Bit Flipping (BF) decoding algorithm over Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel, we simulated the BER performance of a (3,6) regular LDPC convolutional codes, where the results showed that Gallager’s construction method (random) outperforms Mackay-Neal and QC ones.","PeriodicalId":112478,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Information Systems and Advanced Technologies (ICISAT)","volume":"144 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114530997","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
