Kalman Filter (KF) and Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) have proved to be very good estimators. Multitarget tracking finds its applications in diverse fields like pattern recognition, computer vision, radar tracking, robotics, etc. Several algorithms have been implemented for multitarget tracking including Probabilistic Data Association Filter (PDAF), Joint Probabilistic Data Association Filter (JPDAF), Nearest Neighbor Standard Filter (NNSF), Global Nearest Neighbor (GNN), Neural Networks (NNs), etc. Joint Probabilistic Data Association Filter (JPDAF) is the multitarget version of Probabilistic Data Association Filter (PDAF), in which joint association probabilities are computed and tracks are then updated based upon theses probabilities. Measurement noise covariance matrix R in Kalman filter needs to be transformed from polar to cartesian coordinate system. The optimal value of R should be calculated for the good performance of filter. In this paper, measurement noise covariance matrix R has been computed using transformation and more than 80% of the desired results have been achieved by performing tracking using JPDAF algorithm.","PeriodicalId":111615,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Electrical, Communication, and Computer Engineering (ICECCE)","volume":"33 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113979851","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These variations have been effectively captured using a smartphone and vehicular sensory technologies. A framework named “AutoLog” has been used in this paper which uses the On-Board Diagnostic-2 (OBD2) and smartphone sensors to capture the driver smartphone activities along with vehicle data. We captured certain essential parameters that could be used for analyzing the driving behavior. An alert message can be generated by performing risky activities on either a smartphone or any activities while driving. Results show that performing smartphone activities i.e. making calls and text messaging while driving suddenly degrades the speed and abruptly change in the steering wheel leads to lane deviation which may cause accidents.","PeriodicalId":111615,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Electrical, Communication, and Computer Engineering (ICECCE)","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115952504","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A variety of approaches are being introduced to support in re-finding through various features. Among all, back and forward buttons are specific to the current session, while history and browser search is generic to all the links visited throughout. Contextual tabs need a keyword to suggest options of possible pages. Furthermore, implicit bookmarks need less human intervention and empower revisitation through intelligent automatic techniques. Popular implicit bookmarks in browsers are New-Tab speed dials. These thumbnails are few in number, less attractive, usually not ranked as per user interests. They don't provide true support for the fluctuating activity of a user at different times of the day. This paper represents some issues and changeless in existing methods. Moreover, this paper proposed a novel model for making these New-Tab speed dials thumbnails more useful to use. We design a new ranking formula for the thumbnails including temporal and visual context to the layout. Results show that the proposed model improves user satisfaction, relevance to the resources for revisitation.","PeriodicalId":111615,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Electrical, Communication, and Computer Engineering (ICECCE)","volume":"3 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132193842","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The conventional Nobel metals such as gold and silver are considered as best plasmonic materials to couple incident light to surface plasmons modes. However, it is found that alternative plasmonic materials such as copper (Cu) offers optimized absorption characteristics. Copper nanodisk absorber offers a broad range of optical absorption ranging from 400 nm - 1500 nm wavelength. In addition, it is found that the light absorption bandwidth can be significantly enhanced or near perfect absorption can be reached if plasmonic nanodisks are arranged in quasi-crystal configuration. The proposed quasicrystal based metascreen absorber offers potential applications for light energy harvesting and optical sensing applications.","PeriodicalId":111615,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Electrical, Communication, and Computer Engineering (ICECCE)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133597936","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the increased number of relay nodes used in these models leads to an overall costly and dense network. The prime focus of this research paper is to reduce the number of relays and make the lesser available relays intelligent via Fuzzy logic with an aim of increasing the system performance in terms of symbol error rate (SER). Hence we propose a path finding and selection technique for multi hop cooperative mesh network based on fuzzy logic with three input fuzzy parameters. The performance of suggested scheme is evaluated in terms of symbol error rate (SER) in three fading channels that is Nakagami, Rayleigh and Rician fading channels. BPSK is used as modulation scheme while software that is used for simulation is MATLAB.","PeriodicalId":111615,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Electrical, Communication, and Computer Engineering (ICECCE)","volume":"128 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132263689","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
