A modified backpropagation algorithm for a multilayer feedforward neural network is proposed for the case of large training samples. A new method for RTI in the polarization domain using single-frequency multipolarization is proposed. By using a dumbbell target as a simulation model, an experiment is performed which shows that the proposed method in this paper is practicable and effective, and it has a high correct classification rate.<<ETX>>","PeriodicalId":110496,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of TENCON '93. It also provides a consistent and natural decomposition of the problem domain, and a structured knowledge representation that enhances software extension, modification and maintenance. In this paper, the key concepts that describe object-oriented software development are data abstraction, information hiding, encapsulation and inheritance. In an object-oriented software development environment using C++, the basic unit is the class which is the realization of data abstraction and information hiding. When the number of classes increases to a certain amount in a multi-user distributed software development environment, there is an urgent need for the central management of classes in a class library system. Current techniques for managing large class libraries make use of browsers. However, these tend to impose severe limitations when the size of the libraries reaches the order of thousands. This paper presents a method for the efficient management of object-oriented development using a relational data dictionary approach.<<ETX>>","PeriodicalId":110496,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of TENCON '93. It is shown that the computational complexity of this algorithm is comparable to that of the LMS algorithm. Convergence analysis for this algorithm is presented showing the unconditional convergence of the algorithm in the mean and the mean square sense for stationary data. It is shown that the rate of convergence of this algorithm is n/sup -1/. The convergence characteristics of this algorithm shows that the algorithm is much faster than the LMS algorithm but somewhat slower than the RLS algorithm. Modifications to this algorithm are suggested for use in nonstationary data environment. Simulation results for this algorithm are compared with those for the LMS and the RLS algorithms.<<ETX>>","PeriodicalId":110496,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of TENCON '93.
