Questo meta-progetto intende fornire gli strumenti per superare le difficolta dovute alla ricchezza e alla rapida evoluzione di quest’area di ricerca multidisciplinare, allo scopo di facilitare il coinvolgimento dei ricercatori giovani e di quelli che si accostano per la prima volta a questo settore, nonche di tutti coloro che a vario titolo si interessano al TEL. Il meta-progetto in questione ha anche l’ambizione di facilitare la comunicazione tra individui appartenenti a diverse culture scientifiche e tra le lingue nazionali. With machinima, immersive 3D worlds become a tool for building narrative worlds, theatres of a sort in which performances can be recorded as on a movie set. This is done through the computer and the Internet, without expensive equipment or the need to leave the classroom. The paper also presents the results of a pilot activity performed by a group of teachers in the Second Life virtual world. The Share.TEC platform features personalized functions to help users search for and select educational material via a broad repository of metadata records. These describe educational resources from various European countries and draw on an ontology that captures concepts pertaining to teacher education and maps them across a variety of cultural and linguistic contexts. The article also presents Share.TEC’s adaptivity mechanisms, in particular the recommending functionality. This provides extra search support that reduces the need to explicitly specify all the query parameters. Partendo da una panoramica sulle risorse educative aperte (Open Educational Resources-OER), questo articolo presenta l’esperienza italiana di “Federica”, la piattaforma web learning dell’Universita di Napoli Federico II, un progetto open access nato nell’ambito di una universita pubblica del Mezzogiorno che intende promuovere una nuova cultura, una cultura-ponte fra la printing literacy e la digital culture. I dati su cui si basa l’analisi sono stati raccolti nell’ambito del processo di valutazione di un piano nazionale inglese finalizzato alla distribuzione di grandi quantita di risorse educative aperte: l’Open Educational Resources Programme del Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE). Nello specifico, tali dati riguardano progetti di 29 universita e college sparsi sull’intero territorio nazionale inglese e sono relativi all’analisi delle strategie di condivisione di risorse educative da parte di individui, istituzioni e centri disciplinari nazionali.
