EFL university students as future teachers should adapt to technology development by having a good level of self-efficacy and outcome expectation in technology integration. Both self-efficacy and outcome expectations have received a great deal of attention in the field of educational technology. However, investigating the levels and relationship between EFL university students' self-efficacy and outcome expectation is not the major interest of research in this area. Technology integration self-efficacy and outcome expectations are important since they affect technology integration performance. The purposes of the study were to (1) identify the self-efficacy and outcome expectation of EFL university students, and (2) investigate the relationship between self-efficacy and outcome expectation. The survey research method was employed to achieve the objectives of the study. This study involved a total of 42 EFL university students. The instruments were questionnaires adopted from the Motivation of Technology Integration in Education Scale. The study's findings revealed that the self-efficacy and outcome expectation of EFL university students are at good levels. This study showed that the relationship between self-efficacy and outcome expectation is weak and not statistically significant. This may be a result of working with different sample groups compared to the other similar studies. Providing professional development program, evaluating courses related to technological instruction, and facilitating EFL university students with up-to-date technology, are recommended.","PeriodicalId":107308,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Learning Innovation and Quality Education","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116974656","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The required motivation for this is obtained from the environment, in order to easily grasp such competencies. The best motivation comes from within the child, which is called mastery motivation: it spurs them to engage in tasks that help them obtain this competencies. The aim of this study is to determine the level of mastery motivation present in children. This is a quantitative research and the data is collected through surveys. The study sample totaled 417 children (211 males and 206 females), within an average age of 5 years and 9 months. The results were analyzed using a one-way ANOVA mean comparison test along with an independent t-test using SPPS. The analytical results showed that the level of mastery motivation in children is good. The one-way ANOVA test showed mean differences in mastery motivation dimensions, precisely the low mean score of social persistence compared with those of gross motor, cognitive, mastery pleasure, and social persistence each in adults. However, there are significant differences in the mean scores in male and female children present in only mastery pleasure dimensions, and absent in the others.","PeriodicalId":107308,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Learning Innovation and Quality Education","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122733563","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
