Renewable-energy resources are abundant; worldwide, and are unevenly distributed. They are capable of producing around one-thousand-times more energy than is released today by all fossil fuels consumed. However due to their uncertainty different kinds of renewable-energy resources need to be operated in integrated way those complement each other. Further they provide energy security without in every nation without dependence on foreign energy sources and negative impact on human health and environment. Taking a closer look, it is clear that fostering the use of renewable energy sources and their integrated operation is a key issue in order to achieve the long-run objectives of energy. In order to overcome the drawback of single-object control and further reduce the probability or commutation failure duration of HVDC system, the signal of AC line current as a supplementary control object is introduced to design a multi-object controller for SVC system. Due to their simplicity, high stiffness, low wear and tear, and fast response, they are used for high precision mechanical and electrical engineering applications. However, piezoceramics are dielectric material and they suffer from hysteretic behavior inherent to nonlinear dielectric materials. This characteristic is electrical behavior and affects the micro adjustment and control. To determine the dynamic modeling equations which represent the hysteretic behavior between input voltage and output displacement, we performed the model reduction. This paper, the piezoelectric actuator is treated as second-order liner dynamic system. And the system identification method which deals with the problem of building mathematical models of dynamic systems based on observed data collected from system is used to determine the system constants. A classical PID controller is designed and used to regulate the output displacement, and the PID controller gains which minimize the system error are selected by optimization technique. In this paper, dynamic modeling and controller design method of piezoelectric actuator were presented. For this process, we utilized the system identification method and a classical PID controller. This paper introduces a new type of permanent magnet claw pole motor (PMCPM) with outer rotor. The electrical circuit model of this kind of motor have been built, The operation characteristics are simulated by means of powerful simulation software on the basis of electric circuit model. The computation results indicate that the PMCPM have good operation characteristics. The generation system, during the past eight years, was not in position to meet domestic demand. After the war in Kosovo the shortages of production has required importation of great amount of electricity. Following the intervention of the NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) in 1999 the Kosovo is administrated by the United Nations under Security Council Resolution 1244 (United Nation Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo-UNMIK), first main activities in the energy sector consisted of repairing damaged facilities, rehabilitating equipment that had been inadequately maintained during the years of conflict, restoring production at thermal power stations and in coal mines. One of the most urgent tasks in power sector for the Kosovo is rehabilitation of its thermal power plants and building new generating capacity. In the paper aim to present energy situation in Kosovo and the dilemmas of rehabilitation of old thermal power plant Kosovo A. and to investigate the feasibility of rehabilitation of coal thermal power plant Kosovo A with five units. The environmental emission levels are also taken as the constraints in cost optimization problem. The solutions to the above problems is attempted using modified Hopfield neural network (MHNN), which has the flexibility of handling objective function and the constraints separately and works on the principal of minimizing the energy function and therefore ensure convergence. The study is carried out for cost optimization, NOx emission optimization, SOx emission optimization and cost optimization with SOx and NOx emissions as constraint. It has practical significance and applicable value taking interruptible load for one kind of reserves to ensure power system reliability and optimize the resource in the electricity market environment. At present, interruptible load has participated in some reserve markets together with generator, but the existing optimization method only takes the total costs of reserves into account and doesn't consider the difference of the reserves coming from the generator and the interruptible load. The paper analyzes the localization of the current optimization method for the reserve market with interruptible load and generator as participants. Thyristor controlled series compensator (TCSC) are utilized as a conventional means for the purpose while unified power flow controller (UPFC) is the latest converter based devices employing fast power electronic equipments. This paper utilizes the steady state model of thyristor controlled series capacitor and a unified power flow controller for series voltage compensation, and evaluating their range of power flow control for simple network. The models are incorporated into the existing Newton Raphson load flow algorithm. The iterative equations of the Newton Raphson load flow algorithm are modified by the device parameters and the combined set of power flow equations and UPFC or the TCSC control equations are solved for convergence of the formula. Matlab codes are utilized for the implementation of the two devices in the Newton-Raphson algorithm. Power flow control ranges are evaluated for few IEEE bus systems and standard 5 bus system.
