This metaphor of the relationship between the church and Christ, intends to illustrate that the dynamics of church life must be centered on Christ. The church must not put church rules beyond the Bible which is the word of Jesus Christ. The establishment of certain spiritual principles must not undermine other spiritual principles. Celibacy is one of the efforts to uphold the principle of chastity and chastity in fulfilling the calling of service. But if celibacy becomes a law for the ordination of a clergyman, then it can undermine the spiritual principle of building a sacred and lasting home. In the Catholic Church, celibacy is following or practicing what is written in the Bible. But to produce proper application, accurate interpretation is needed. Pay attention to the literal, grammatical, historical, and contextual meaning. Thus, the church can find the meaning intended by the author of the book, not an assumption, whose truth is very subjective. Abstrak Bahasa Indonesia Gereja adalah tubuh Kristus dan Kristus adalah kepala gereja. Metafora relasi antara gereja dengan Kristus ini, hendak menggambarkan bahwa dinamika kehidupan gereja harus berpusat pada Kristus. Gereja tidak boleh meletakkan aturan gereja melampaui Alkitab yang adalah firman Yesus Kristus. Penegakkan prinsip rohani tertentu tidak boleh merusak prinsip rohani yang lain. Selibat adalah salah satu usaha untuk menegakkan prinsip kesucian dan kemurnia dalam memenuhi panggilan pelayanan. Namun jika selibat menjadi suatu undang-undang pentahbisan seorang rohaniwan, maka hal tersebut dapat merusak prinsip rohani membangun rumah tangga yang sakral dan langgeng. Dalam kalangan Gereja Katolik, selibat adalah meneledani atau mempraktekkan apa yang tertulis dalam Alkitab. Tetapi untuk menghasilkan penerapan yang tepat, dibutuhkan interpretasi yang akurat. Memperhatikan arti literalnya, gramatikal, historikalnya, dan kontekstualnya. Even more, narrowed and sharper differences are caused by this doctrine, thus creating suspicion among the people through hypocritical Bible texts for self-justification. The presence of this scientific work aims to find out again the main points of truth contained in the Thousand Years doctrine written in God's Word. Whether the Millennium Kingdom is an event that will occur in the future or is currently taking place. In hermeneutic language, whether this Millennial Kingdom is literal (literal) or figurative (figuratively). Therefore, to restore the interest of Christian theologians regarding the attitude towards the Millennial doctrine, a comparative study of the three Millennials is needed which will be presented in the following discussion. For the approach to this study, the author uses library research methods. These efforts will provide an overview for readers to determine how to determine which one is closest to and in accordance with Bible truth. \u0000Abstrak Bahasa Indonesia \u0000Di Era-millenial beberapa teolog Kristen telah melupakan dan meninggalkan doktrin tentang Kerajaan Seribu Tahun yang notabene warisan dari para Bapa-bapa gereja mula-mula. Bahkan semakin mengerucut dan tajam perbedaan yang ditimbulkan oleh doktrin ini, sehingga menciptakan suasana mencurigai diantara umat dengan memunafikkan teks-teks Alkitab demi pembenaran diri. Kehadiran karya ilmiah ini bermaksud untuk merenungkan kembali pokok-pokok kebenaran yang terkandung dalam doktrin Kerajaan Seribu Tahun yang dituliskan dalam Firman Tuhan. Apakah Kerajaan Seribu Tahun merupakan peristiwa yang terjadi diwaktu yang akan datang atau sedang berlangsung. Dalam bahasa hermeneutiknya, apakah Kerajaan Seribu Tahun ditafsirkan secara harafiah (literal) atau Figuratif (kiasan). Oleh sebab itu, untuk mengembalikan minat para teolog Kristen terkait pengambilan sikap yang tepat pada doktin Millenial dibutuhkan studi perbandigan diantara ketiga paham Millenial yang akan dipaparkan pada pembahasan berikutnya. Untuk pendekatan pada kajian ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian literatur. Then in Matthew 17:24 Jesus was again called \"teacher\" by the tax collector, who said to Peter: \"Did teacher not yourpay the two dirhams?\". Further in John 3: 2 a Pharisee named Nicodemus called Jesus \"teacher\", Nicodemus said: \"Rabbi, we know that you have come as a teacher sent by God; .....\". From this statement, both the Pharisees and the temple tax collectors mention and acknowledge Jesus as a teacher. As a teacher of course Jesus had a model in doing learning to His disciples. Because the learning model is very necessary to achieve an educational goal. The model of Jesus' teaching to His disciples ”which is focused in the four Gospels. By studying Jesus' model of learning, teachers can prepare their learning process well and their educational goals can be achieved. \u0000Abstrak Bahasa Indonesia \u0000Dalam Kitab Injil Matius 9:11 orang Farisi menyebut Yesus ; “guru” ..., berkatalah mereka kepada murid-murid Yesus: “Mengapa gurumu makan bersama-sama dengan pemungut cukai dan orang berdosa ?”. Kemudian dalam Matius 17:24 kembali Yesus disebut “guru” oleh pemungut bea Bait Allah, yang berkata kepada Petrus: “Apakah gurumu tidak membayar bea dua dirham itu ?”. Selanjutnya dalam Yohanes 3:2 seorang Farisi yang bernama Nikodemus menyebut Yesus “guru”, Nikodemus berkata: “Rabi, kami tahu, bahwa Engkau datang sebagai guru yang diutus Allah;.....”. Dari pernyataan tersebut, baik orang Farisi dan juga pemungut bea Bait Allah menyebut serta mengakui bahwa Yesus sebagai guru. Sebagai seorang guru tentu Yesus mempunyai model dalam melakukan pembelajaran kepada murid-murid-Nya. Karena model pembelajaran sangat diperlukan untuk mencapai suatu tujuan pendidikan. Model pembelajaran Yesus kepada murid-murid-Nya” yang difokuskan dalam ke empat Kitab Injil. (The Theological Response to the Teaching of Marriage in the World to Come Version Rev. Dr. Erastus Sabdono)” aims to reveal the misinterpretation of Erastus Sabdono which states that there is a possibility of marriage in heaven in the future according to God's pattern (betrothed by God) based on the text of Matthew 22:30. The text of Matthew 22:30 which explicitly rejects the possibility of marriage in heaven has been twisted by Erastus Sabdono to support his view of the possibility of marriage in heaven. To achieve the above objectives, this research uses qualitative research with library research methods, and is supported by descriptive, explanative and evaluative approaches. Based on doctrinal and biblical research on the text of Matthew 22:30, it is clear that Jesus explicitly stated that there would be no marriage in the world to come, not even the possibility! Thus, it can be concluded that Erastus Sabdono's teaching about a future marriage in heaven according to God's pattern (betrothed by God) is an exegetical fallacy that results in a misinterpretation that can result in misleading. \u0000Abstrak Bahasa Indonesia \u0000Penelitian yang berjudul “Adakah Perkawinan Manusia Di Surga Kelak? (Tanggapan Teologis Terhadap Ajaran Perkawinan Di Dunia Yang Akan Datang Versi Pdt. Dr. Erastus Sabdono, M.Th)” ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap kesalahan tafsir Erastus Sabdono yang menyatakan kemungkinan adanya perkawinan di surga kelak yang sesuai pola Allah (dijodohkan Allah) berdasarkan teks Matius 22:30. Teks Matius 22:30 yang secara eksplisit menolak kemungkinan adanya perkawinan di surga telah diplintir untuk Erastus Sabdono demi mendukung pandangannya tentang adanya kemungkinan perkawinan di surga. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut di atas penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian kepustakaan, serta didukung dengan pendekatan deskriptif, eksplanatif dan evaluatif. Berdasarkan penelitian doktrinal dan biblikal terhadap teks Matius 22:30, jeals bahwa Yesus secara eksplisit menyatakan tidak ada perkawinan di dunia yang akan datang, bahkan kemungkinannya pun tidak! Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ajaran Erastus Sabdono tentang adanya perkawinan di surga kelak yang sesuai pola Allah (dijodohkan Allah) adalah sebuah kesalahan eksegetikal (exegetical fallacy) yang menghasilkan kesalahan tafsir (misinterpretation) yang dapat berakibat menyesatkan.
