The predictability feature will also be illustrated by size-running time graphs. Reference will be made to the importance of determining the initial population in achieving fast and accurate results. A new approach, the Bounded Radius Heuristics will be presented. In the last part of the talk, a series of fuzzy extensions of the Time Dependent TSP (TD TSP) will be introduced, an extension of the TSP with real life aspects where the natural fluctuation of the traffic in certain areas causes non-deterministic features causing additional difficulties in the quasi-optimization. The novel extensions will be also tackled with the DBMEA approach successfully. As a conclusion, one more example will be mentioned where the discrete NP-hard problem is of a rther different nature, and it will be shown that by changing the local search technique appropriately, DBMEA can still deliver superior results.","PeriodicalId":105691,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 16th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121103270","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The complete system was built in such a way that a dental specialist may utilize it to better examine the characteristics of a patient's intraoral configuration. The system was developed with the Matlab work environment and includes a graphical user interface that the doctor may easily operate. Image - processing techniques were utilized during the development to process such an image, and the ones that proved successful will be detailed in this article. Furthermore, another aim of this system is to measure the intensity of each element of the denture, permitting a dental specialist to draw additional vital diagnoses. Some diagnoses can be identified automatically even after the raw image has been pre-processed. As a conclusion, each step executed with the software will aid in the analysis of panoramic dental radiography.","PeriodicalId":105691,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 16th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127883511","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This language is expressed through manual articulations in combination with non-manual elements, being a full rights language, with its own grammar and lexicon. Still, it is closely linked to the culture, customs and norms of the community that uses it, so that there is a sign language for the deaf community in Romania. Though there are many attempts to develop assistive technologies, most of them are for American Sign Language. The article presents an Android application to translate a message from Romanian language to Romanian sign language through videos in which these words are mimicked. The application was successfully used in an orphanage by hearing children to learn the sign language and to communicate with a deaf peer.","PeriodicalId":105691,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 16th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133227657","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The enrichment of the 13C isotope is resulting from the chemical exchange process taking place between the carbamate and the carbon dioxide. The non-linearity of this process represents a setback in process modeling; after determining the analytical solution for the system in the transitory regime, it is possible to simulate the model for the separation column. The purpose of the process modeling is to be included in the development of the control strategies, in order to obtain the needed 13C isotope concentration while the input flow of the solution has an acceptable value. The advantages obtained are the possibility to reject the effects of the disturbances occurring in the system, the control of the 13C concentration in any point in the separation column's height and the improvement in the case of the system performances of reducing the settling time.","PeriodicalId":105691,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 16th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"505 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116723624","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The basic aim of this research, which underpins our approach, is to strengthen the experiments by diversifying them and extending them to timeseries from computer vision. When using that function, the negative side is completely ignored, while the right side retains the swish part of the function. This expansion was evaluated using a huge open-source dataset called Jena Climate, which is a weather timeseries dataset collected at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry's Weather Station in Jena, Germany.","PeriodicalId":105691,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 16th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126135474","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To assure system robustness, the stator resistance identification is proposed using a MRAS with the stator current angle error in adaptation mechanism. The extensive simulation results prove the effectiveness of the proposed sensorless control system with very good steady state and dynamic performance in large speed range 1:50, with minimum speed of 20 rpm (2% rated speed) and 1°max rotor position error, for step speed and rated torque references, step speed reversal at lower speed, and linear variation of stator resistance.","PeriodicalId":105691,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 16th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"189 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134468946","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
