Scientific literature approaches the topic from several aspects and argues about the results. Depending on the investigated time interval and spatial location contradictory conclusions were drawn on cohesion tendencies and on the success of EU cohesion policies. In the present study the non-parametric Mann-Whitney U-test and Wilcoxon signed rank test is applied on GDP- and NDI per capita values in order to investigate cohesion tendencies among member states and their regions that joined the EU before 2004 and afterwards.","PeriodicalId":105691,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 16th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125604649","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main point behind these filters is to provide some “optimized” output based on the assumption that the measurement noises are of Gaussian nature and that the subsequent measurements of the same variables are statistically independent. The original concept was developed for linear system model, the later variants were extended to tackle nonlinear models, too, since the nonlinearities make the observation and filtering problems even more significant than in the case of linear systems. The Fixed Point Operation-based adaptive controllers are especially noise-sensitive since they need the feedback of higher order derivative errors feedback than the usual Resolved Acceleration Rate controllers. For supporting them simpler noise filtering techniques were developed than the Kalman filters since no filter optimization issues were considered by them. In the resent submission the operation of various noise filtering methods are compared with each other in this special control applied for the strongly nonlinear van der Pol oscillator. The simulations confirm that instead of the use of complicated Kalman filter the simpler ones seem to be applicable as well.","PeriodicalId":105691,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 16th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"241 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115850199","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But such mixture of structures may be prone to failure during the manufacture of structural components. Therefore, the use of mathematical modelling offers the opportunity to get a better understanding of the phenomena taking place during production of the steels and while being manufactured. This work presents a series of analyses carried out to determine the causes behind the failure of various advanced high-strength steels during forming with the demonstration of how mathematical models were used to present alternatives and solutions to avoid incidents while processing.","PeriodicalId":105691,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 16th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121174140","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Evidence behind their effectiveness and safety have to be proved by scientifically sound clinical trials. Systematic literature review (SLR) is a scientific method that allows to identify, select and critically apprise available empirical evidence. Development of the research protocol for an SLR is a challenging task in which research goals are defined and translated into a literature search and analysis plan via an iterative work. In this paper we present the main steps of the development of our research protocol for an SLR focusing on the reporting quality of clinical trials involving AI based chatbots in healthcare. We introduce how the specific goal and protocol of our SLR work was developed. We draw attention to some methods and sources that deserve consideration in SLRs dealing with AI based health technologies.","PeriodicalId":105691,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 16th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121101216","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As the company is continuously evolving and expanding, it is facing a number of asset and inventory management difficulties. In order to keep up with the accelerated growth of Ion Mobility it has decided to introduce asset and inventory management system and has chosen to solve problem by ERPNext implementation. The case study takes a look at the advantages of the open-source ERP system and describes how the company is approaching its implementation of it. The information that describes the implementation of the system in the company was collected by one of the authors who is the software engineer at the company working on the ERP itself. It was found out, that although it offers a cost-effective solution to inventory tracking, it requires significant efforts from the company and engineers to implement and adopt the system compared to mature systems such as SAP. The implementation and deployment of a portable and mobile ERP systems can contribute to the success of a company since it allows flexible and agile reaction to the challenges of today's changing business environment.","PeriodicalId":105691,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 16th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128123509","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are no comprehensive methods to ensure deep learning quality. Our research introduced effective test methods for deep learning in terms of the data sufficiency and model validity based on user requirements. To determine the data sufficiency, we proposed a method using the new concept of extrapolation and interpolation to classify out-of-domain uncertainty, domain-shift uncertainty, in-domain uncertainty, and data uncertainty. This method allows us to indicate what training data are missing. This paper proposes methods to visualize a basis for the model's decisions to determine the model's validity. We explain how to visualize the region of interest in an image and explain the basis for deep learning decisions from only human-understandable explanations using the combination of intermediate output and a decision tree.","PeriodicalId":105691,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 16th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115379683","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the elasticity of the cutting tool, the forces acting on it will cause its deformation and its removal from the surface to be processed. The forces being variable in time and traces left on the surface of the piece, by the cutting forces, will have different depths. The values of these forces depend on the rotation speed of the chuck, the radial cutting depth, the axial cutting depth, the feed rate, but also on the mechanical characteristics of the turning material. It is known that in the turning process the best results are obtained for small values of overhang. The overhang is defined as the length of the cutting tool relative to the end of the support. For certain machining given by the workpiece geometry, but especially in the case of inner turning, the overhang may have a longer length. This involves increasing the vibration amplitudes of the cutting tool. By keeping the overhang to a minimum, low vibrations, well-finished surfaces, increasing the life of the cutting tool, increasing the processing and feed speed and, consequently, increasing productivity can be obtained. These are the reasons why this paper aims at the analytical, numerical and experimental analysis of the natural frequencies of a cutting instrument in relation to its overhang. From an analytical point of view, the cutting tool will be considered as Euler Bernoulli beam with a square cross section. The Finite Element Method (FEM) coupled with the Modal Analysis (MA) from the ANSYS module was used for the numerical analysis. These gave both natural modes and corresponding frequencies. Experimentally, the analysis of a vibration signal obtained by applying a mechanical impulse on the cutting tool is made. The acquisition of the signal is done by means of Laser Doppler Vibrometer (LDV), and the processing isgiven by software based on the Pronv Series Method (PSM).","PeriodicalId":105691,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 16th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121275300","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents the control algorithm and its application of an unmanned areal vehicle (UAV), which can support emergency personnel in their work. An adaption of the so-called Limit Ellipsis Controller (LEC) for indoor UAV is proposed. This adaptation enables the LEC to be used in semi-structured environments with static and dynamic obstacles. The main benefit of the LEC is that it can prevent deadlocks caused by other methods in complex environments. Furthermore, the LEC function is implemented on an experimental UAV system and tested in various environments. The proposed technical system enables exploration of a building by a semi-autonomous UAV, saving valuable rescue time. The UAV can fly into the building and explore the interior without collision. The results show that the proposed controller can adequately avoid local minima, guide the UAV to the desired target, and provide essential information for the rescue team in real demonstration scenarios.","PeriodicalId":105691,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 16th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123372909","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
