By introducing a Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and using Jensen inequality technique to deal with its derivative, a delay-range-dependent and rate-dependent linear matrix inequalities (LMI) stability criterion for a class of neutral systems with time-varying neutral, discrete and distributed delays and nonlinear parameter perturbations is established. Compared with the corresponding result in [Mathematical Problems in Engineering, Volume 2009, ID759248, doi:10.1155/2009/759248], the new stability criterion not only removes the free-weighting matrices, but also is mathematically proven to be less conservative. Previous researches imply that dividing the mission into three phases according to different three body dynamic system the explorer suffers sequentially can facilitate this design problem. Halo orbits about the Earth-Moon L2 and the Mars-Sun L1 points are chosen to insert to the transfer route, and the associated invariant manifolds are used to decrease the combustion. In the phases of Moon departure and Mars insertion, impulse jet is applied to reduce the required maneuver velocity pulse. In the heliocentric transferring phase, Fourier series are employed as the shape function to approximate the transfer trajectory with low thrust technology. Genetic algorithms with fuel consumption mass ratio as objective function are applied to seek out a less fuel consumption trajectory after sweeping the initial and final time of the interplanetary transfer. Simulation shows Moon-Mars transfer trajectory achieved by above methods consumes less fuel.","PeriodicalId":104511,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Mechatronics and Control (ICMC)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130132076","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, based on both the continuous-time state information of each agent and the discrete-time communication information with time-varying sampling interval of its neighboring agents, a hybrid discrete/continuous consensus protocol is designed. Secondly, hybrid consensus problems are transformed into simultaneous stabilization problems of multiple sampled control subsystems with low dimensions by the state space decomposition approach. Thirdly, by using the time delay approach and linear matrix inequality (LMI) theory, sufficient conditions for hybrid consensus and consensualization are presented, where four LMI constraints are only included. It should be pointed out that the hybrid consensus for high-order swarm systems depends on the gain matrices, the spectra property of the Laplacian matrix, and the maximum sampling interval. Moreover, the consensus function is determined when swarm systems achieve hybrid consensus. Finally, numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.","PeriodicalId":104511,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Mechatronics and Control (ICMC)","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133861588","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The prediction of dynamic fluid level is a popular research direction. This paper describes an approach to short-termly determine the dynamic fluid level by using the algorithm which combines the state space reconstruction and black hole least squares support vector machine (BH-LSSVM) algorithm together. The chaotic time series has to be reconstructed in the state space. Then based on the data of the reconstructed state space, the fluid levels will be determined dynamically, by using BH-LSSVM algorithm. The simulation results show that this algorithm has much higher accuracy on measurement of dynamic fluid level for oil well. It fulfills the requirements of the oil-well task. It can be deployed in oil well to measure the dynamic fluid level.","PeriodicalId":104511,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Mechatronics and Control (ICMC)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133075310","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The basic purpose of proposed co-design scheme is to save substantial communication in both the sensor-to-controller channels and the controller-to-actuator channels, while guaranteeing optimal control performance of NCSs. Firstly, a switched systems model used to describe NCSs with sampling periods subject to a finite set is constructed. Secondly, guaranteed cost control is studied for NCSs in order to obtain two upper bounds of quadratic performance of systems under the two cases, (a): the worst network communication condition and the longest sampling period; (b): the best network communication condition and the shortest sampling period. After the above preparations have been done, a performance partition-based sampling rate scheduling algorithm is developed to perform co-design strategy for NCSs. Moreover, to calculate control performance in real-time approach and guarantee the asymptotically stable of systems, adaptive controllers are designed in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) technology. Finally, a numerical example and simulations are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":104511,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Mechatronics and Control (ICMC)","volume":"145 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131277394","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
