These Sustainable Development Goals are also a continuation of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) which were agreed upon in 2000 and ended in 2015. Of the 17 existing points, they are related to sustainability. The Development Goals contain one of the points that discusses responsible consumption and production, where this point is included in point 12. Thus by 2030 Indonesia has a target that can achieve sustainable management and efficient use of natural resources. This is the basis of this study, where in this study using concrete to be a coarse substitution with a variation of concrete waste using 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% of the total new aggregate. Then carried out on the test object with the Marshall test method to the permanent deformation test so that the Marshall test results and the results of the permanent deformation are obtained. Concrete waste originating from K-250 quality concrete (ex-test with compressive strength) meets the requirements for hot asphalt mix aggregate based on the 2010 Highways Specification (Revision 3). The permanent deformation value of the Asphalt Concrete Binder Course layer mixture that uses K-250 quality concrete waste shows the level of concrete waste with a composition of 5% which has almost the same dynamic stability performance and speed when compared to 0% composition of concrete waste using 10% concrete waste. and 15% for the composition shows lower performance compared to 0% waste concrete.","PeriodicalId":103613,"journal":{"name":"INDONESIAN JOURNAL OF CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (CESD)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128482197","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In high-rise building, column base may be subjected to very high axial load from the upper stories and may experience very large moment due to the lateral loads. As a result, the column base requires a great deal amount of reinforcement which make it very cramped. In order to prevent honeycomb as the reinforcement gap is narrow yet difficult to provide sufficient vibration during concrete casting, high performance concrete (HPC) may be the solution. One of the HPC innovations is Reactive Powder Concrete (RPC). RPC is a self-compacting type of HPC contains well graded fine and super fine aggregates with cement and pozzolanic material to strengthen the Interfacial Transition Zone (ITZ) between the mortar matrix and fine aggregates. RPC may achieve high compressive strength as the mix uses low water to cement ratio, thus it introduces less void and no coarse aggregates, thus ITZ is stronger. RPC has similar characteristic as concrete, with its brittle behaviour. To avoid the brittle failure of RPC, in this study steel fibers are added into the RPC mixture. This research is conducted to examine the effectiveness of using steel fibers on the mechanical properties of Steel Fiber Reactive Powder Concrete (SFRPC). The steel fiber is aimed to increase ductility of tensile strain hardening condition by its multiple crack-bridging behavior.","PeriodicalId":103613,"journal":{"name":"INDONESIAN JOURNAL OF CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (CESD)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125682888","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, in reality, clay soil is an unfavorable condition for construction activities because of its low-level of stability. Therefore, when the clay soil receives a static load on it, the soil will slowly have a settlement due to the dissipation of pore water. This settlement usually occurs over a very long period of time, thus, it is necessary to do the soil improvement using Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD) combined with preloading in order to shorten the time of soil consolidation so that the consolidation process becomes faster. Soil settlement analysis is calculated using two soil parameters derived from the NSPT correlation data and laboratory test data to determine the most efficient soil parameters. Furthermore, a theoretical soil improvement analysis was carried out by comparing Baron's theory and Hansbo's theory and using the Settle3D analysis program. The analysis results show that the calculation of consolidation settlement using soil parameters from laboratory test results has the closest value to the actual results in the field with a efficiency of 91%. Meanwhile, for soil improvement, the most effective PVD design was chosen using the Hansbo theory with a triangular installation pattern and a spacing of 150 cm combined with a gradual embankment.","PeriodicalId":103613,"journal":{"name":"INDONESIAN JOURNAL OF CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (CESD)","volume":"214 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123152313","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
