As a result of their processing, the information redundancy is significantly reduced. This is of high importance for their efficient compression and for the reduction of the features space needed, when object recognition is performed. The basic obstacle for the wide application of PCA, is the high computational complexity. One of the approaches, used to overcome the problem, is to use algorithms, based on the recursive PCA. The well-known methods for recursive PCA are aimed at the processing of sequences of images, represented as non-overlapping groups of vectors. In the last several years, the interest towards the recursive PCA for 3D tensor images executed in sliding temporal window, was significantly increased. Such analysis is needed, for example for the convolution tensor decomposition in multi-layer neural networks, in the systems for 3D noise filtration, video compression, etc. In this work is proposed new method, called Sliding Recursive Hierarchical Adaptive PCA (SR-HAPCA), based on the HAPCA algorithm. The method SR-HAPCA retains all advantages of HAPCA towards the PCA: it decreases the number of calculations needed, and permits parallel implementation. Besides, the lower computational complexity of SR-HAPCA makes easier its application in real-time processing of 3D tensor images.","PeriodicalId":102480,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th International Conference on Information Technology (ICIT)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130809953","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed PA offers a high efficiency of > 43% for a band of 400 MHz to 1.4 GHz. The broadband matching circuits were realized with microstrip-radial-stubs (MRS) on low loss Rogers 5880 substrate with 0.78 mm thickness and 2.2 dielectric constant. The input and output matching is better than −13 dB throughout the band. The PA delivers maximum output power of 41.5 dBm with a flat gain of 11.4–13.5 dB. Due to high gain, stability, efficiency, and broadband, the proposed PA is thus suitable for recent and upcoming wireless communication systems.","PeriodicalId":102480,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th International Conference on Information Technology (ICIT)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127896210","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, there are major concerns about security-related issues. A very critical security function is user authentication using passwords. Although many flaws have been discovered in password-based authentication, it remains the most convenient approach that people continue to utilize. Several schemes have been proposed to strengthen its effectiveness such as salted hashes, one-time password (OTP), single-sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA). This study proposes a new authentication mechanism by combining user's password and modified characters of CAPTCHA to generate a passkey. The modification of the CAPTCHA depends on a secret agreed upon between the cloud provider and the user to employ different characters for some characters in the CAPTCHA. This scheme prevents various attacks including short-password attack, dictionary attack, keylogger, phishing, and social engineering. Moreover, it can resolve the issue of password guessing and the use of a single password for different cloud providers.","PeriodicalId":102480,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th International Conference on Information Technology (ICIT)","volume":"95 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125007571","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The automation between the two processes is maintained using reactive search. However, existing works in ACO were limited either to the management of pheromone memory or to the adaptation of few parameters. This paper introduces the reactive ant colony optimization (RACO) strategy that sticks to the reactive way of automation using memory, diversity indication, and parameterization. The performance of RACO is evaluated on the travelling salesman and quadratic assignment problems from TSPLIB and QAPLIB, respectively. Results based on a comparison of relative percentage deviation revealed the superiority of RACO over other well-known metaheuristics algorithms. The output of this study can improve the quality of solutions as exemplified by RACO.","PeriodicalId":102480,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th International Conference on Information Technology (ICIT)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131908270","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a joint interleaving and selected mapping (SLM) method is proposed to reduce PAPR in OFDM signals. Then, linear companding transform (LCT) is employed for farther PAPR reduction. Joining interleaving and SLM is accomplished by generating randomly interleaved data streams and multiply it by a random phases sequences (SLM). Then the resultant sequence with lowest PAPR is processed by LCT. Simulations results show that the proposed technique simultaneously decrease bit error rate (BER) over AWGN and reduce PAPR by 4.5dB.","PeriodicalId":102480,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th International Conference on Information Technology (ICIT)","volume":"120 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130131168","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
