In the case the vehicle is equipped with a direct tire pressure monitor system (TPMS), the sensor should be also replaced if it is damaged. The module that receives the tire pressure data needs to update the registered sensor IDs with the new sensor ID fitted in the vehicle. This can be done manually through a diagnostic tool that communicates with the module. Also, there are some systems that have the capability of auto-learning sensor IDs without using any external tool. To auto learn sensor Ids, classic algorithm approaches has been defined based on experience. For this paper the method of auto-learning sensor IDs using Fuzzy logic will be modeled. A four tires configuration system would be modeled with four rotating sensors.","PeriodicalId":102480,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th International Conference on Information Technology (ICIT)","volume":"2 5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131491180","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The algorithm is based on the multiple calculation of the matrix SVD for elementary tensors (ET) of size 2×2×2, which build the tensor of size N×N×N, when N=2n. The new approach is compared to closest famous hierarchical SVD methods for ET: the Sequential Unfolding SVD (SUSVD) and the Radix 2×2Hierarchical SVD (Radix 2×2 HSVD). New two-level algorithm is developed for ET decomposition, with lower computational complexity than these of Radix 2×2 HSVD and SUSVD. In the paper is presented the THSVD algorithm for tensor of size 4×4×4, which is generalized for a tensor of size N×N×N. Adaptive new algorithm is offered for the “truncation” of the tensor decomposition components with small weights. The multiple execution of similar operations for the SVD calculation for matrices of size 2×2 in each THSVD level, permits its parallel implementation by using processors with relatively simple structures. As a result of the „truncation“ and of the parallel calculations of THSVD, the processing of image sequences represented by third-order tensors, is significantly accelerated. This advantage of the algorithm opens new abilities for its application in real-time image processing systems in various areas: compression of image sequences, digital watermarking, computer vision, machine learning, processing of multidimensional signals, etc.","PeriodicalId":102480,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th International Conference on Information Technology (ICIT)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122163285","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this research work we identified the best method of positioning the optical sensors to get the best possible images. To address this purpose the variant of SVD is used for feature construction. Our proposed approach optimize and reiterate our similar earlier findings in identification of plants. The threshold augmentation technique is used to find the inter and intra average differences for both aerial and portrait angle images for comparison. The intrusion detection software Matlab is created and tested for the Portrait images and compared with aerial images. The Portrait images to find the intrusion are found better than aerial images in number of trails 15% more than the aerial images.","PeriodicalId":102480,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th International Conference on Information Technology (ICIT)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116949230","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

High availability and fault-tolerance are important aspects of these real-time systems and are commonly achieved by replication. Different existing replication techniques are compared in this paper in terms of implementation and limitations. Also, a new replication technique; TIRS; is proposed that relies on Trust when reading or writing data. Adding Trust to the replication protocol enabled TIRS to perform well in the presence of faulty or malicious nodes. Performance analysis was done using Matlab simulation. TIRS is proved to be fault-tolerant and very fast when reading data. Furthermore, some initial simulations were done to analyze the performance of the write operation in TIRS therefore proving its efficiency.","PeriodicalId":102480,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th International Conference on Information Technology (ICIT)","volume":"208 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115046301","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

So, applying automated tools is essentially required to tackle these drawbacks. In this study, we propose an automated scoring approach for short answers to Arabic essay questions. The scoring process is based on the similarity between the student's answer and model answer, cosine similarity measure is used for this purpose. Cosine similarity is a heuristic evolutionary measure that has succeeded to solve text to text similarity problems. Word root and synonyms for each keyword in the student's answer and the model answer are used in order to achieve accurate results. Experimental results showed that the proposed approach achieved competitive scores in comparison with other approaches.","PeriodicalId":102480,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th International Conference on Information Technology (ICIT)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115338361","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The KM behavior has been operationalized using SECI process (components of knowledge creation theory). A hypothetical research framework has been developed based on TRA, TPB and some related previous works. Survey based quantitative research approach was used. The data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire among 156 academic staff comprising different rank from a public university in Malaysia. After data screening, data reduction and reliability testing process, linear and stepwise multiple regression analysis were performed using SPSS. Though most of the hypotheses proposed were supported by linear regression analysis, only trust among colleagues and Effort expectancy of KM were emerged as the strong predictors of KM behavior according to stepwise multiple regression.","PeriodicalId":102480,"journal":{"name":"2017 8th International Conference on Information Technology (ICIT)","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128921113","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
