Automation has made life flexible. Border security is one of the most crucial aspects of a country's defense. Monitoring the border with human labor is a very tough job as it requires constant attention and overwatch. In this paper, we have proposed an idea to make border security more vigilant and active. As quadcopters fly in the sky and record everything with a wide-angle, it becomes easy to watch an extensive area with one drone. Along with the help of machine learning, we can easily detect the intrusion (human & another animal) from the video captured by the drone. If we fly a drone around a large area, then only one drone can do the work of 10 to 30 border guard humans very quickly, which is very much feasible.","PeriodicalId":102214,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE International Conference on Robotics, Automation, Artificial-intelligence and Internet-of-Things (RAAICON)","volume":"76 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117117562","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the most citable area where technology is applied is security. Door access system is one of the major concern of home security. It has been enhanced with the days using different techniques such as, mobile application, real-time authentication system (e.g. audio and video processing), Bluetooth and other technological inventions. Later, Internet of Things (IoT) has been introduced to this field as well. This paper illustrates, an IoT and Wi-Fi based door access control system, where a user can control the access to the door using his phone remotely within the coverage area provided by the wireless Access-Point that is situated inside the home. This system takes advantage of Biometric feature of the Android phone which is used to validate authorized user and a cloud based server as the medium of user verification. The strong point of our system is multiple layered automated security system where authentication is performed on both ends (mobile application and door access controller) beyond user's perception which prohibits unauthorized access or manipulation. We have used Raspberry Pi as the door access controller and other state-of-the art devices to create testbed of the system and verified its use in practical environment.","PeriodicalId":102214,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE International Conference on Robotics, Automation, Artificial-intelligence and Internet-of-Things (RAAICON)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132222668","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a promising research field which has great applications in generating sign language, computer animations as well as dance. Previously, computer generated choreography was limited to just stick figure representation. This paper adds image translation technique in dance generation which produces realistic dance moves. With this technique it is possible to produce dance video of a amateur person dancing like a professional. The mapping of stick figure to realistic image is done using Generative Adversarial Network (GAN). We created our own dataset and after adversarial training reconstructed images have SSIM mean 0.864 and LPIPS mean 0.0168. This method produces realistic dance video which is beat based. Body movement speed varies according to the tempo of music which makes it more relevant to real life dance movement.","PeriodicalId":102214,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE International Conference on Robotics, Automation, Artificial-intelligence and Internet-of-Things (RAAICON)","volume":"131 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131444083","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many researchers utilized various hand crafted features and deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) methods to improve the performance of the existing system. However, the current hand crafted system performs well on datasets that are captured in predefine conditions, and deep CNN performs well where dataset contains large amount of data. In small dataset such as CK+ and JAFFE the DCNN going to be overfitted and does not perform well. To solve these problems, in this paper, an end to end shallow CNN (SCNN) architecture is proposed. The proposed SCNN automatically organizes several characteristics of individual facial expression to support quick, accurate and reliable identification and recognition of expression of a facial image. The proposed architecture uses two consecutive convolutional layers to identify the features of the facial expressions and one fully connected layer to recognize the facial expressions. The proposed model achieves the accuracy which is 99.49% and 93.02% on CK+ and JAFFE datasets respectively. Which are the significant improvement over the recent works.","PeriodicalId":102214,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE International Conference on Robotics, Automation, Artificial-intelligence and Internet-of-Things (RAAICON)","volume":"99 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131070393","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Through this network, the devices can exchange information. Compromisation of these devices can breach the security of the network. In this paper, we have proposed a trust management model based on fuzzy system to address the above-mentioned issue. we have successfully enhanced security of the smart online grid connected network system and eliminated compromised device. The model has been simulated in Xfuzzy-3.5. Simulation results depict that to be a trustworthy device, each device requires to maintain its trustworthiness behavior above the threshold, otherwise it will be treated as a malicious device. Simulation results show the maximum correctness and it is competent with the objective of this paper. Finally, the simulation results enhance the security in Smart Grid network through Trust management model which is satisfactory proven.","PeriodicalId":102214,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE International Conference on Robotics, Automation, Artificial-intelligence and Internet-of-Things (RAAICON)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122388251","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a robotic crutch designed for the movement of cripple or physically disabled persons. Crutches help to transfer weight from the legs to the upper body. The crutch can be attached to the both sides of the user and help the user to move. The proposed model enables the user to control the crutch with the manual switching device. This crutch can detect the object around the user while moving. After detecting the object, the high torque gear motor will be automatically stopped. Moreover, typically people who have disabilities or injuries, or older adults who are at increased risk of falling, to reduce user fall and instant object detection purposes for physically disabled people, there was no Robotics Crutch introduced in the past. The lighting feature of this crutch will help the user to move during the night. A GPS tracking device has added as an extra feature to detect the exact position of disabled people by the family members. The proposed outcome of the project is to give the proper and efficient support to the physically disabled people by helping them to move and detect the user's exact position.","PeriodicalId":102214,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE International Conference on Robotics, Automation, Artificial-intelligence and Internet-of-Things (RAAICON)","volume":"99 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115173791","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
