An important methodology is the interpretation of juristic injunctions. The exegetes especially considered their juristic and rationalistic school of thoughts and preferred their opinions by logical reasoning in interpreting the verses of injunctions. Some commentators expanded the vision of such exegeses by quoting the opinions of scholars, not only belonging to their own sect, but also citing the opinions of scholars of other sects. They endeavored to present relatively detailed comparative study of different school of thoughts which is called Comparative Jurisprudence (Fiqh al-Muqāran). The most prominent example of this methodology in Urdu exegetical literature is Ghulām Rasūl Sa‘īdī’s Qur’ānic Commentary “Tibyān al-Qur’ān”. This exegesis is basically a representative of Fiqh al-Ḥanfī. One of the juristic issues discussed in this commentary is the issue of Mehar (Groom’s gift to bride). He cited the dissenting opinions of various jurists about what is Mehar; what should be the amount of Mehar; which commodities can be used as Mehar; in which conditions the amount of Mahar can be changed etc. He tried to prefer a certain opinion out of many. Tibyān al-Qur’ān is a significant addition to Urdu exegetical literature. This article would analyze the injunctions of Mehar in the light of the most prominent attribute of this exegesis which is Comparative Fiqh.

Islam is the only religion where women are given their due rights in the light of rights and duties without discrimination. As we know that in human society there have been opinions based on discrimination against women’s character and role. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) has completed all aspects of prophet-hood and nothing can be added and removed in it. And the most important thing is that Prophet (PBUH) has shed ample light on women’s social and economic role. This elaboration of women’s social and economic role has uncovered the fact that during the time of Prophet Mohammad and spread of Islam women have participated to their utmost to benefit Islam. Among different aspects of women’s liberation one aspect is their right of trade and business ownership which is complete contrast against western concept of women liberation. \u0000Though in Islam, women are not obligated to earn for living, but Islam gives them proper right in certain economic issues like, Feminine services, breastfeeding, incubation, and medicine and women surgeries. \u0000In the light of mentioned example we conclude that women are one of the most important part of economic welfare of the society, and there is no place of Western claim that Islam has made women “a disabled part”. \u0000In the light of Prophet Mohammad’s (PB UH) character and sayings all possible means of earning for women and their level of participation is discussed and elaborated in accordance with the following professions: trade, agriculture, labor, handicraft. This study also aspires to contribute to world peace and interfaith harmony by discussing the ideal personality of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, who is stereotypically quoted in the west. The main characteristics of a successful leader and examples from the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, are included. It is evident from the given literature that he greatly respected for other religions, cultures, and ideas; even in case of disagreement, he showed tolerance and took great care to handle the situation. In this study, the existing literature is examined and a qualitative exploration is carried out in order to formulate a better understanding of the dynamics of the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ, with regard to peace and conflict resolution. In the end it reveals that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, employed all his energies and divine assistance to resolve the conflicting issues through negotiations and peacefully. He showed an appreciation of the dignity of all living beings irrespective of their gender, race, or societal status. The article covers the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ and analyzes the historical events of the life of the Prophet Muhammad. Some of the questions addressed in this research are: how can this knowledge be used to solve difficulties that the Muslims are witnessing after 9/11? What is status of the Qur'an and the Hadith related to peace and conflict? With regards to Islam and Buddhism, I believe that devotion to religious morals and duties is the key to reach contentment in life. \u0000Meditation is a vital component of almost all the religions whether revealed or non-revealed. It is a mental and a physical discipline by which the meditator strives to reach beyond the material world into the realm of the spiritual and divine world. Different religions adopt different forms of meditational techniques that emphasize on different goals. It can be union with the absolute as in Hinduism. Or it can be getting close to Allah as in Islam or to reach a highest bliss that lies beyond the mortal world that is Nirvana[i] in Buddhism, etc. It is also practiced outside the religious tradition for simply soothing and calming the mind. Many people practice meditation as a way to improve one’s mental, spiritual and also physical health. He created a society without racism and racial superiority; it brought various faiths and flavors together and helped to remove barriers of tribal biases. The Prophet used nonviolent methods to resist those who persecuted him and considered peacemaking to be more effective than aggression and violence. Despite some clashes that took place between Muslims and Jews during domestic security arrangements in Medina, the Prophet (PBUH) welcomed the increasing racial and ethnic diversity and engaged in linguistic and cultural interactions. People of all colors felt safer under Muslim rule because there was no racism against blacks and no concept of white and Arab supremacy, Islamic philosophy has only two categories of human beings (believers and unbelievers). Dialogue begins when people meet each other and depends upon mutual understanding that is why the Prophet (PBUH) had frequent social interactions with people of different backgrounds and to improve the quality of relationships within local community, the Prophet (PBUH) explored different tools.
