Today, they pursue us everywhere: in technical, social, socio-technical, and even control systems, dramatically deteriorating their performance. In this variety, it is the computer systems that are sure to cause the growing anxiety in our digital era. Although for our everyday Internet surfing, experiencing long-lasting and annoying delays is an unpleasant but not dangerous situation, for industrial control systems, especially those dealing with critical infrastructures, such behavior is unacceptable. The article presents a deterministic approach to solving some digital control system problems associated with delays and backlogs. Being based on Network calculus, in contrast to statistical methods of Queuing theory, it provides worst-case results, which are eminently desirable for critical infrastructures. The article covers the basics of a theory of deterministic queuing systems Network calculus, its evolution regarding the relationship between backlog bound and delay, and a technique for handling empirical data. In this paper, we offer a methodology that ensures the systematization of the main steps of the development of a profile and algorithms of adaptive authentication on the critical information infrastructure facility. The offered algorithm eliminates the disadvantages of existing traditional methods of authentication based on the use of explicit verification methods connected to the fact that the authentication characteristics which can be compromised by malefactors are applied to the determination of the user’s identity. In the given article, we examine an example of implementation of the method with the application of a data qualifier on the example of a test platform. For classification, a machine learning model – the k-nearest neighbor algorithm – is used. As from the point of view of the authors it is possible to use other waveforms, so the article examines the influence on the measuring signal magnetostrictive transducer displacements in ultrasonic waves torsion pulse triangular shape. Research carried out by the work take into account such factors as the geometrical dimensions waveguide, the geometrical and magnetic parameters of the magnet, serving as a source of longitudinal magnetic field parameters solenoid. Analysis and simulation of the reproduction signal under the influence triangular pulses were performed using the superposition principle, according to which it is possible to determine the measuring signal separately from the axial component waveguide magnetization and the circular component of the magnetization and then sum it up. In the course of research, it was concluded that the triangular excitation pulse leads to a violation symmetry measuring signal. The reliability obtained theoretical results is confirmed by experimental studies. The most important indicators of the body normal functioning are noted. The factors affecting the final values of hemodynamic parameters are described. The hydroсuff method for recording a pulse wave curve is presented. The conducted experimental studies to identify the most informative sensorlocation with minimal losses in the amplitude-frequency characteristics of the recorded pulse wave signal are illustrated. The research results analysis and processing were performed using LabVIEW software. Graphic processing was carried out using MATLAB R2017b software. The pulse wave signals taken from various parts of the body were studied, it was concluded that to determine the hemodynamic parameters and blood pressure, it is sufficient to use a hydrocuff sensor fixed on the index finger. The respiratory system effect on the pulse wave amplitude-frequency characteristics has been experimentally confirmed. The authors make a conclusion on the relevance of simulating technically feasible controls and the ‘man-machine’ system motions initiated by them, where an electromechanical system stands for ‘machine’. It has been shown that the mathematical formulation of the system control problem is to determine the control functions allowing for the achievement of the control goals set. Following the engineering psychology ideas, two interacting elements have been identified, i.e. the subject and the object, which are, respectively, the ‘man-operator’ and ‘machine’. They interact via Man-Machine Interface. It has been established that the anthropomorphic control model building principle determines the possibility of its technical implementation in an electromechanical system with manual, automatic, or joint (automated) control. The paper identifies specifics of technical implementation of the control effects on the system object using the new-type joint control mechanisms, the control elements of which ensure the data interaction between the man-operator and the system’s machine. For a verbal action pattern and the man-operator and machine responses used in engineering psychology the authors have developed the mathematical models of joint control over the system object that describe the control element motions. The relevance of this problem is determined by the importance of uninterrupted and cost-effective functioning of the object in question, which is widely used in the economic activities of enterprises and localities. This paper implements a model of the first rise area with a single pump. The model consists of a frequency-controlled asynchronous electric drive, a centrifugal pump, an elevated pipeline, and a storage reservoir. The blocks of the model interact through the appropriate physical parameters. The structure of the simulation model is designed for use in conjunction with automatic performance control systems for first-rise pumps. The Simulink package of the Matlab software complex is used as a simulation modeling environment. To confirm the correctness functioning of the developed model elements, the results of a trial run of the model at parameters implemented in the laboratory conditions are presented. The resulting SDC observer is achieved by combining the standard Kalman filter (KF) with the technique of the state-dependent differential Riccati equation (SDDRE). Based on the proposed method, a nonlinear SDC KF is obtained. A modification of the SDC KF is also proposed - a diffuse SDC KF. The given approach allows to realize computer simulators of technological installations, meeting all safety requirements of manufacture. In the article, a computer simulator of a short cycle adsorption installation plant based on mathematical and algorithmic description is developed. Interface screens of simulators have been developed using SCADA platform graphical tools. Here is given a brief description of the problem. It’s made a description of the influence of starts and self-starts of electric motors in the branch substations and the areas of these regimes are constructed for various parameters of the motor load, its share in the total load of all transformers connected to the radial supply overhead line.
