From August 2017 to June 2018, 42 eyes of 37 patients with CME diagnosed in the people's Hospital of Wuhan University were included in the study. Among them, there were 24 males and 13 females, with an average age of 48.51±10.29 years. There were 14 eyes with diabetic retinopathy, 14 eyes with central retinal vein occlusion, 8 eyes with branch retinal vein occlusion, 4 eyes with uveitis, and 2 eyes with Eales disease. The macular color fundus photography (CFP) was performed with Visucam 200 non-mydriatic fundus camera of Zeiss company in Germany. MC, frequnce domainoptical OCT (SD-OCT) and FFA were examined by Spectralis HRA2 + OCT of Heidelberg company in Germany. According to the MC standard method, five images, including 488 nm blue reflection (BR), 515 nm green reflection (GR), 820 nm infrared reflection (IR) imaging and standard MC and blue-green enhancement (BG), were obtained at the same time. Compared with SD-OCT, CFP and MC images were scored. Friedman M test and Wilcoxon signed rank test were used for statistical analysis. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Results \u0000The standard MC and BG images showed blue-green uplift area or petal-shaped appearance, surrounded by green reflection areas with clear boundaries. BR image can be seen in the low reflexes area. On the GR image, there were patches or cystic low reflection areas, surrounded by a slightly high reflection. On the IR image, patches or cystoid high reflexes can be seen, surrounded by low reflection dark areas with clear boundaries. The average scores of CFP, standard MC, GB, IR, GR and BR were 1.20±0.94, 3.05±0.99, 2.90±1.04, 2.55±1.27, 2.00±0.94, 0.51±0.85 respectively, and the differences were statistically significant (χ2= 151.61, P=0.000). The score of CFP were significantly lower than that of standard MC (Z=-5.421), BG (Z=-5.354), IR (Z=-4.714), GR (Z=-4.438) and higher than that of BR (Z=-3.435). The differences were statistically significant (P=0.000, 0.000, 0.000, 0.000, 0.001). \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Conclusions \u0000The quality of MC imaging is better than that of CFP. The average age of the patients was 27.00±2.14 years. The average course of the disease was 15.00±8.27 days. There were 174 eyes in 87 patients of blurred vision, dazzling and visual fatigue consciously. All patients performed BCVA, direct ophthalmoscope, B ultrasound, confocal scanning laser Ophthalmoscope (cSLO) and spectral-domain OCT (SD-OCT). SD-OCT was performed with Spectralis HRA+OCT from Heidelberg Company in Germany to acquire tomographic images. Using Herdelberg's colorful program (MultiColor) based on cSLO and operating in accordance with standard methods, one scan simultaneously obtained blue light reflection based on 488 nm, green light reflection based on 515 nm, and infrared reflection based on 820 nm, synthesis to MSLI. Fundus abnormalities were classified into arterial spasm (stage Ⅰ), arteriosclerosis (stage Ⅱ), and retinopathy (stage Ⅲ). OCT examination was divided into normal and abnormal cases according to the abnormality of retinal morphology and thickness. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Results \u0000Of the 224 eyes, 68 eyes (30.36%) showed normal fundus examination and 156 eyes (69.64%) showed abnormal fundus performance. Among them, 28 eyes were stage Ⅰ (17.95%); 40 eyes were stage Ⅱ (25.64%); 88 eyes were stageⅢ (56.41%). Thirty-six eyes (16.07%) showed normal fundus and 188 eyes (83.93%) showed abnormal performance with OCT. Of the 188 eyes with abnormal fundus performance, 86 eyes (45.74%) had retinal neuroepithelial serous detachment; 56 eyes (29.79%) had RPE detachment; optic disc edema, bulge, and local reflexes in the retinal nerve fiber layer were enhanced and/or the thickness increased in 46 eyes (24.47%). In MSLI, 48 eyes (21.43%) showed normal fundus; 176 eyes (78.57%) showed abnormal performance. Retinal edema was showed in green on MSLI, serous retinal neuroepithelial layer detachment, RPE layer detachment, retinal nerve fiber layer thickening, accompanied by changes in local retinal structure. The higher the degree of bulge, the darker the color. Consistent with the range of retinal edema revealed by SD-OCT. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Conclusions \u0000MSLI and SD-OCT images show highly consistent lesions in PIHS patients. From January 2016 to December 2017, 14 Mac-Tel type 1 patients (14 eyes) diagnosed in Nanjing Medical University Eye Hospital were included in the study. There were 6 males (6 eyes) and 8 females (8 eyes), with the mean age of 35.3±9.3 years. All patients underwent BCVA and OCT angiography examinations. The BCVA examination was performed using the Snellen visual acuity chart, which was converted into logMAR visual acuity. All the patients were received anti-VEGF injection treatment once a month for 3 consecutive months. The OCTA scanning region in the macular area was 3 mm × 3 mm. Macular blood flow density in the superficial capillary plexus (SCP) and deep capillary plexus (DCP), the vessel density within a 300 μm width ring surrounding the foveal avascular area (FD-300) and central macular thickness (CMT) were measured in all eyes. Paired samples t-test and Pearson correlation analysis were used in this study. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Results \u0000At the baseline, logMAR BCVA was 0.69±0.07, CMT was 468.43±26.59 μm, SCP blood flow density was (50.99±1.19)%, DCP blood flow density was (43.79±1.44)%, FD-300 was (50.73±1.16)%. Compared with the baseline, there were significant differences between logMAR BCVA, CMT, DCP blood flow density and FD-300 in 1 week, 1 month, 3 months after treatment and 2 months after cessation of treatment (logMAR BCVA: t=6.77, 13.30, 16.99, 9.51; P=0.00, 0.01, 0.00, 0.01. CMT: t=6.99, 15.88, 26.10, 6.50; P=0.00, 0.01, 0.01, 0.00. DCP: t=6.75, 8.61, 15.12, 7.63; P=0.00, 0.01, 0.01, 0.00. FD-300: t=11.86, 13.08, 14.36, 4.41; P=0.00, 0.01, 0.01, 0.03). There was no significant difference in blood flow density of SCP between baseline and 2 months after cessation of treatment (t=1.36, P=0.19), but there was significant difference at the other time points after treatment (t=5.50, 6.84, 6.27; P=0.00, 0.01, 0.01). The Pearson's correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between FD-300 and CMT (r2=0.54, P=0.04). \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Conclusions \u0000There is no significant change in the SCP blood flow density in the patients of Mac-Tel type 1 with macular edema, while the DCP blood flow density decreased and FD-300 increased. After anti-VEGF treatment, DCP blood flow density increased and FD-300 decreased. A total of 14 CMVR patients (22 eyes) after allogeneic HSCT diagnosed in Ophthalmology Department of Peking University People's Hospital between January 2016 and December 2018 were involved in this study. All patients were CMV-DNA seronegative at baseline and were treated with intravitreous injection of ganciclovir (IVG, 3 mg in 0.05 ml) twice per week for 4 times in the induction stage and once a week in the maintenance stage. Aqueous humor sample was collected during the first time of IVG every week. CMV-DNA and the level of IL-8 were measured by real time quantitative PCR and ELISA, respectively. During follow-up, negative CMV-DNA (<103/ml) or level of IL-8<30 pg/ml in aqueous sample was set as local treatment cessation. Then patients were followed every 2 weeks for at least 6 months. BCVA, intraocular pressure and fundus examination were taken for each visit. The BCVA examination was performed using the international standard visual acuity chart, which was converted into logMAR visual acuity. BCVA and intraocular pressure at the baseline and the last follow-up were compared by the Student t matching test. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Results \u0000Of the 14 CMVR patients (22 eyes) after allogeneic HSCT, 8 patients (16 eyes) were bilateral, 6 patients (6 eyes) were unilateral. At the baseline, the mean logMAR BCVA was 0.814±0.563, the intraocular pressure was 17.2±7.8 mmHg (1 mmHg=0.133 kPa), the mean aqueous CMV-DNA load was (3.43±4.96)×105/ml, the mean level of IL-8 was 518±541 pg/ml. At cessation of local treatment, the median number of intravitreal injections was 5 times. Nine eyes showed negative CMV-DNA in aqueous humor, of which, 7 eyes showed negative IL-8 in aqueous. CMV-DNA could still be detected in 13 eyes, while IL-8 was negative. Only one eye’s retinal lesion was completely quiet. Six months after local treatment cessation, the mean logMAR BCVA was 0.812±0.691, the intraocular pressure was 14.8± 5.4 mmHg; which was not significantly different from baseline (t=-0.107, 1.517; P=0.916, 0.137). Recurrence of CMVR happened in only 1 eye because of systemic EB virus infection. Retinal lesions progressively improved and became completely quiet in all the remaining 20 eyes. In 22 eyes, iatrogenic vitreous hemorrhage occurred due to low platelet count during treatment (<30×109/ml) in 4 eyes. When the treatment was terminated for 6 months, the fundus of hematoma absorption was clearly visible. From May 2012 to February 2017, 107 PPVP patients (173 eyes) diagnosed by OCT in Ophthalmology Department of The Third People's Hospital of Chengdu were included in the study. One hundred and three eyes underwent examination of frequency-domain OCT (SD-OCT) and 70 eyes underwent examination of frequency-scanning light source OCT (SS-OCT), respectively. SD-OCT the German Heidelberg Spectralis OCT instrument. SS-OCT was performed by the vitreous enhancement scan mode of Japan's Topcon DRI OCT instrument. The differences of different types of PPVP OCT imaging and image characteristics were observed. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Results \u0000SD-OCT and SS-OCT showed that the PPVP structure was clear and manifested as macular weakly reflective in the shape of a boat-shaped cavity, the front boundary was vitreous collagen, and the rear boundary was vitreous cortex. There was a weakly reflective Martegiani area on the nasal side of PPVP, and there was a connection channels between them. The two examinations showed a similar pattern, but SS-OCT with the clearer imaging of PPVP. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Conclusions \u0000The OCT image of PPVP in the human eye is characterized by an anterior weakly reflecting boat-shaped cavity in the macula, with anterior border of vitreous collagen and posterior border of vitreous cortex. From December 2015 to December 2016 in Tianjin Eye Hospital, 101 eyes of 98 consecutive IMH patients who underwent 25G PPV combined with or without ILM flap and sterile air or C3F8 tamponade, were included in this study. All patients underwent BCVA and OCT examination. The BCVA examination was performed using the international standard visual acuity chart, which was converted into logMAR visual acuity. The patients were divided into three groups according to preoperative minimum liner diameter of Hole (MLD) and surgical methods: MLD<400 μm for the group A, 41 eyes of 39 patients, MLD more than 400 μm without ILM flap surgery as the group B, 39 eyes of 38 patients, including 16 eyes tamponaded with air and 23 eyes tamponaded with C3F8, MLD more than 400 μm with ILM flap as the group C, a total of 21 patients of 21 eyes, including 7 eyes tamponaded with air and 14 eyes tamponaded with C3F8. The logMAR BCVA of group A, B and C were 0.82±0.39, 1.11±0.42, 1.25±0.50, respectively. The follow-up times were 1 week, 1 month, 3 month, 6 month and 1 year post operation, BCVA and OCT were performed at each follow-up time. The hole closure rate and BCVA improvement were observed. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Results \u0000The postoperative BCVA of group A, B and C was improved obviously,the differences were statistically significant (t=−11.66, −7.52, −4.99; P<0.01). There was no significant difference in improvement of visual acuity between the three groups (A and B, A and C, B and C group: t=0.77, −0.41, 0.28; P=0.44, 0.72, 0.76). 96.94% macular hole closure occurred in 7 days post operation. The postoperative visual acuity improved significantly in 3 mouth after operation, \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Conclusions \u0000The macular hole closure occurred mainly in 1 week after operation, postoperative visual acuity increased mostly in the 3rd month post operation. Twelve eyes of 12 patients with congenital ODP complicated with serous macular detachment diagnosed in Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center from 2003 to 2018 were included in this study. There were 2 males (2 eyes) and 8 females (8 eyes). The average age was 30.17 years old. Retinal laser photocoagulation and/or vitrectomy were performed in all the eyes. The optic disc and macular area were scanned using the tracking mode of the Germany Heidelberg Spectralis OCT instrument. The \"dam-sign\" change was a retinal choroidal scar on the channel between the ODP and the macula on the OCT image after treatment. The eyes were divided into a \"dam-sign\" change group (group A, 10 eyes) and no \"dam-sign\" change group (group B, 2 eyes). The BCVA of eyes in group A was 0.03-0.6. In group A, 1 eye was treated with laser photocoagulation alone, 9 eyes were treated with vitrectomy combined with laser photocoagulation. The BCVA of eyes in group B was 0.1. All the eyes in group B underwent vitrectomy combined with laser photocoagulation. The follow-up was ranged from 6 to 174 months. The same equipment and method before treatment were used for 1, 3, 6, 12, 18, and 24 months after treatment. The BCVA, absorption of subretinal fluid (SRF) and the formation of \"dam-sign\" change were observed. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Results \u0000At the last follow-up, the BCVA of eyes in group A was 0.4-1.0 (0.4 in 1 eye, 0.5 in 3 eyes, 0.6 in 2 eyes, 0.8 in 3 eyes, 1.0 in 1 eye). In 9 eyes treated with vitrectomy combined with laser photocoagulation, SRF was completely absorbed. In 1 eye treated with laser photocoagulation alone, SRF remained in small amount. The BCVA of the two eyes in group B was 0.03 and 0.3, respectively; and SRF was not absorbed in both of them. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Conclusions \u0000The \"dam-sign\" change near optic disc after laser photocoagulation can promote SRF absorption and improve BCVA. Thirty patients (30 eyes) with refractory macular hole diagnosed in Ophthalmology Department of The First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from January to December 2016 were included in this study. There were 13 males (13 eyes) and 17 females (17 eyes), with the mean age of 57.3±6.9 years. There were 15 patients(15 eyes) with large macular diameter, 12 patients (12 eyes) with high myopia macular hole, and 3 patients (3 eyes) with secondary traumatic macular hole. The BCVA examination was performed using the Snellen visual acuity chart, which was converted into logMAR visual acuity. OCT was performed to measure the macular retinal thickness (CRT), base diameter and minimum diameter of macular hole. Then, the macular hole index(MHI) was calculated. The logMAR BCVA was 1.52±0.30, MHI was 0.51±0.19. The Chinese version of visual-related quality of life scale-25 (CVRQoL-25) was used to evaluate the vision-related quality of life of patients. The CVRQoL-25 score was 57.60±7.13. All patients underwent 23G vitrectomy combined with inner limited membrane peeling and autologous ILM transplantation. The follow-up was at least 3 months after surgery. The changes of BCVA, MHI, CRT and CVRQoL-25 score before and after surgery were comparatively analyzed. Paired t test was performed to compare the measurement data before and after surgery, and Spearman rank correlation analysis was used for the correlation analysis among the parameters. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Results \u0000At 3 months after surgery, the hole closure was detected in 28 eyes (93.3%), not detected in 2 eyes (6.7%). The logMAR BCVA was 1.16±0.33, CRT was 161.00±15.26, and CVRQoL-25 scores was 70.83±9.77. Compared with before surgery, the BCVA (t=4.386, P=0.000) and CVRQoL-25 score (t=-5.991, P=0.000) after surgery were improved. This preretinal proliferation is seen at the edge of the lamina macular hole (LMH) as a meso-reflective substance under linear strong reflection, located between the internal limiting membranes and the nerve fiber layer. LHEP is often associated with LMH, but its histological origin, morphology and OCT characteristics are different from LMH, and its visual prognosis is worse. At present, the relationship between the occurrence of LHEP and clinical prognosis is still under study. Twenty-two eyes of 22 patients with spontaneous RAO were selected as the control group. The BCVA examination was performed using the international standard visual acuity chart, which was converted into logMAR visual acuity. FFA was used to measure arm-retinal circulation time (A-Rct) and filling time of retinal artery and its branches (FT). Meanwhile, MRI examination was performed. There were significant differences in age and FT between the two groups (t=14.840, 3.263; P=0.000, 0.003). The differecens of logMAR visual acuity, onset time and A-Rct were not statistically significant between the two groups (t=0.461, 0.107, 1.101; P=0.647, 0.915, 0.277). All patients underwent urokinase thrombolysis after exclusion of thrombolytic therapy. Among the patients in the hyaluronic acid group and control group, there were 6 patients of retrograde ophthalmic thrombolysis via the superior pulchlear artery, 6 patients of retrograde ophthalmic thrombolysis via the internal carotid artery, and 10 patients of intravenous thrombolysis. FFA was reviewed 24 h after treatment, and A-Rct and FT were recorded. Visual acuity was reviewed 30 days after treatment. The occurrence of adverse reactions during and after treatment were observed. The changes of logMAR visual acuity, A-Rct and FT before and after treatment were compared between the two groups using ttest. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Results \u0000At 24 h after treatment, the A-Rct and FT of the hyaluronic acid group were 21.05±3.42 s and 5.05±2.52 s, which were significantly shorter than before treatment (t=4.569, 2.730; P=0.000, 0.000); the A-Rct and FT in the control group were 19.55±4.14 s and 2.55±0.91 s, which were significantly shorter than before treatment (t=4.114, 7.601; P=0.000, 0.000). There was no significant difference in A-Rct between the two groups at 24 h after treatment (t=1.311, P=0.197). The FT difference was statistically significant between the two groups at 24 h after treatment (t=4.382, P=0.000). There was no significant difference in the shortening time of A-Rct and FT between the two groups (t=0.330, 0.510; P=0.743, 0.613). At 30 days after treatment, the logMAR visual acuity in the hyaluronic acid group and the control group were 0.62±0.32 and 0.43±0.17, which were significantly higher than those before treatment (t=2.289, 5.169; P=0.029, 0.000). The difference of logMAR visual acuity between the two groups after treatment was statistically significant (t=2.872, P=0.008).
