Color is important in aesthetics, characterizing and personalizing a smile. \u0000Aim- The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of five commercially available mouthrinses (Listerine, Colgate plax, Clohex Plus, Orahex Plus and Senquel-AD) on color stability of three different resin-based composite restorative materials. \u0000Material and Methods - A custom made stainless steel split mold was used for fabrication of forty-eight samples of each composite resin material (Durafill VS, Z100, Filtek Z350 XT). The samples were immersed in distilled water after curing for 24 hours. Baseline measurements for Color stability were taken. After that, each group was immersed in 20 ml of assigned mouthrinse solutions and incubated at 37° C for 24 hours. The samples were resubjected to Color stability tests. The change in color difference was calculated. \u0000Statistical analysis- \u0000Result- The results revealed that all mouthrinses tested changed the color of the composite resins. \u0000Conclusions- It may be concluded that the effect was both mouthrinse and material dependent.

Most commonly affected sites are tongue, buccal mucosa, and lower labial mucosa. These are well demarcated, smooth, pedunculated or sessile, exophytic lesions which are similar to the surrounding mucosa in color. Generally, it is non-tender but local irritation may lead to painful ulceration. Treatment plan includes complete excision and removal of the cause of irritation. Excision can be done by scalpel, electrocautery or Laser. The excision of the fibroma with diode laser is a safe procedure, with minimum postoperative discomfort and complications. Recurrences are rare but may occur due to repetitive trauma at the same site.

This is particularly in valuable in the field of medicine and dentistry where students apply learned humans kills, on a suffering human, to reach appropriate diagnosis through thorough history taking, examinations, provisional diagnosis, investigations. Using various parameters such as ANB, Wit’s appraisal, Beta, Yen, and W angles, with some limitations. To overcome these, MKG angle and Tau angle were proposed. \u0000Aim and objective: The present study assesses the predictability of MKG and Tau angle and its correlation with previous parameter. Materials and methods: A total of 105 lateral cephalograms were selected. Samples were divided into, Class I, Class II and Class III based on ANB angle. WITS appraisal, Beta angle, Yen angle, W angle, MKG angle and Tau angle were also measured. Kruskal-wallis test, followed by post hoc tuckey analysis and correlation coefficient analysis were done to assess the significance of association between these parameters. Results: Tau angle and Beta angle were noted to be most predictable for differentiating Class I, Class II and Class III, MKG angle was found to be less predictable for differentiating samples. Conclusion: Tau angle can be used along with ANB and Beta angle for assessing sagittal jaw relationship.

Various problems have been encountered like black triangle, increased food lodgement, plaque accumulation and ultimately failure of procedure were experienced. Thus more conservative approaches like papilla preservation flaps and Non-incised Papillae surgical approaches are preferred. But due to drawbacks of existent techniques there was an introduction of novel surgical technique, the Entire Papilla preservation Flap (EPPF). Dental caries is a cyclical event with phases of demineralization and remineralization in addition to being a continuous and unidirectional process of the demineralization of the mineral. Cavitation results from an overbalance in the demineralization process. While remineralization is the process of increasing ion deposition into crystal gaps in demineralized enamel to achieve net mineral gain, it is defined as the supply of calcium and phosphate ions from a source external to the tooth surface. Despite the fact that many other therapies have been tried in recent years to treat early enamel carious lesions, fluorides have emerged as the most popular remineralizing agent due to their superior cariostatic efficacy and affordability. Alternative preparations with additional benefits would be of interest because currently available topical fluorides require patient participation and several treatments over the course of a year.

This in vitro study aims to compare the dimensional accuracy of dental implants in casts obtained from open tray splinted implant impression techniques using two different splinting materials. \u0000Methods and Material: A mandibular acrylic model with four implant analogues was used as a reference model. Open tray impression copings were attached to the implant analogues and were splinted using two different materials. Group I-splinted with pattern resin, sectioned and re-joined and Group II- splinted with light cure tray material. Eight polyether impressions were made for each group and poured in type IV dental stone. The casts retrieved from each group were three-dimensionally analysed using coordinate measuring machine with 0.001 mm accuracy. A one-way ANOVA and post hoc test was done to calculate the statistically significant difference between the groups. \u0000Results: The present study revealed no significant difference in the inter-implant distances obtained from pattern resin splinted group, whereas, significant difference in z-axis was found in light polymerising tray resin splinted group when compared to the values obtained from the reference model. \u0000Conclusions: Casts obtained from splinting the impression copings using pattern resin before making implant impression were found to be more accurate than splinting with light cure tray material.
