The complexity of the axle dynamic stress test seriously enhances the difficulty of axle fatigue damage analysis. In this paper, the dynamic stress test of the high-speed train axle was carried out, the axle box acceleration was monitored on-track during the test, and the relationship between the axle stress spectrum and acceleration was analyzed on-track. The results show that the relationships between the axle equivalent stresses and the Root Mean Square (RMS) values of the axle box vertical acceleration and lateral acceleration exhibit a strong joint probability density distribution. The concept of the virtual surface density of wheel-rail contact is also proposed to realize the purpose of using axle box acceleration to deduce axle equivalent force. The results quantify the relationship between axle box acceleration and axle equivalent force, provide a new method for predicting the axle damage using the acceleration RMS values, and open up a new approach for structural health monitoring of high-speed train axles.</div></div>","PeriodicalId":100607,"journal":{"name":"High-speed Railway","volume":"1 4","pages":"Pages 233-240"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138610543","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we propose a rescheduling model that incorporates constraints and objectives generated through human-computer interaction. This approach ensures that the model is aligned with practical requirements and daily operational tasks while facilitating iterative train rescheduling. The dispatcher’s empirical knowledge is integrated into the train rescheduling process using a human-computer interaction framework. We introduce six interfaces to dynamically construct constraints and objectives that capture human intentions. By summarizing rescheduling rules, we devise a rule-based conflict detection-resolution heuristic algorithm to effectively solve the formulated model. A series of numerical experiments are presented, demonstrating strong performance across the entire system. Furthermore, the flexibility of rescheduling is enhanced through secondary analysis-driven solutions derived from the outcomes of human-computer interactions in the previous step. This proposed interaction method complements existing literature on rescheduling methods involving human-computer interactions. It serves as a tool to aid dispatchers in identifying more feasible solutions in accordance with their empirical rescheduling strategies.</div></div>","PeriodicalId":100607,"journal":{"name":"High-speed Railway","volume":"1 4","pages":"Pages 248-257"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136161022","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

When a collision accident happens, the cowcatcher serves as the first energy-absorbing structure to dissipate and guide the collision energy. The design of the existing cowcatcher of multiple units generally focuses on the good ability to remove obstacles, while the secondary function, the crashworthiness of orderly deformation under collision, still needs further research. In this study, a finite element model of structural static load and collision analysis was established under standard EN 15227, with the cowcatcher for 160 km/h train as the prototype. Then the solution and simulation process was accomplished under the environment of ANSYS and LS-DYNA. The analysis results showed that the structural static strength of the current cowcatcher met the requirements of the standard EN 15227, and the longitudinal stiffness was evenly distributed. When removing the obstacles with low mass, the impact force was small and the structure would not produce obvious deformation; when removing the obstacles with large mass, the impact force was large and the shear fracture might occur at the connection of the cowcatcher.</div></div>","PeriodicalId":100607,"journal":{"name":"High-speed Railway","volume":"1 4","pages":"Pages 258-264"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"143200325","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since the operating speed and mileage of high-speed trains have achieved rapid growth, it is more and more urgent to ensure their reliability and safety. As an important component in the bogies of high-speed trains, the health state of the bearing directly affects the operational safety of the trains. It is therefore necessary to diagnoze the faults of bearings in the bogies of high-speed trains as early as possible. In this paper, the bearing fault diagnostic methods for high-speed trains have been systematically summarized with their challenges and perspectives. First, it briefly introduces the structure of bearings in the bogies as well as the fault characteristic frequencies. Then, a brief review of the research on vibration-based signal processing methods and machine learning methods has been provided.
