It allows to make the diagnostics of non visible or not easily visible lesions. Also, it allows to measure, by biometry, the axial length of the globe, and that of the internal structures and chambers. Using 10 MHz transducers, we have performed the majority of the pictures showed. The 20 and 50 MHz transducers give greater dimension to the ocular ultrasonography.</p></div>","PeriodicalId":100463,"journal":{"name":"EMC - Vétérinaire","volume":"1 1","pages":"Pages 12-21"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2004-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.1016/j.emcvet.2003.10.001","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72045958","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
