Impediments in Healthy Ageing: AShort Review 健康老龄化的障碍:简要回顾

However, there is a dearth of studies on shared environments. Hence, the present study aimed to ascertain the influence of shared environments in the development of alcohol use disorder. Aim: To examine the influence of adverse childhood experiences, parental bonding, and temperament in the development of alcohol use disorder. Methods: Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analysis extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR) guidelines were followed. Studies were identified through search engines such as PubMed, Embase, and PsychInfo, CINAHL databases. Peer-reviewed articles in English published during 2000 - 2021 were included for the review. Results: About 47 articles were considered for the scoping review. Shared environmental factors such as adverse childhood experiences or childhood trauma within 18 years of life, novelty, adventureseeking, cyclothymia, and immediate need for gratification contribute to alcohol use disorder development. Positive parenting is associated with a lower incidence of AUD. Conclusion: Understanding the influence of shared environments and providing tailor-made psycho-social interventions would reduce the risk and prevent alcohol use disorder development.. The disease is often progressive and fatal. It is characterized by continuous or periodic impaired control over drinking, preoccupation with the drug alcohol, use of alcohol despite adverse consequences and distortion of thinking most notably denial. There are various therapies for the treatment of alcohol dependence syndrome as yoga therapy and strength-based group intervention. Aims: To assess and examine the efficacy of yoga therapy and strength- based group intervention among the persons with alcohol dependence syndrome in pre-post and follow up stage. Tools: Semi- Structured Socio-demographic data sheet (especially designed for the study), was used for sociodemographic details, Depression, Anxiety and stress scale was applied for the assessment of depression, anxiety and stress on both groups. The self-esteem of a teacher as a person is very important, as the chances of a teacher's being of maximum benefit to the self-esteem of pupils are very small unless they maintain their own self-esteem at a high level. Aims :To analyze the relationship between self-esteem and perceived stress among private school teachers. Methods:In the current study, data from 100 teachers working in private schools in Delhi-NCRusing random purposive sampling was collected. Self-esteem was assessed using the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, and the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) was used to assess perceived stress. However, very few women seek treatment for substance use disorder in Government de-addiction centre. There is limited literature available regarding the same.</p><p><strong>Aim: </strong>To examine the profile of women seeking treatment for substance use disorder in Government De-addiction Centre, Bengaluru.</p><p><strong>Methods: </strong>The study was retrospective in nature. All the female patients who sought in-patient treatment from centre for addiction medicine, NIMHANS, Bengaluru from Apr 2015- Sept 2016 were included in the study. Method of data collection: Content analysis was used to collect the secondary data from the hospital record. Descriptive statistics such as mean, frequency distribution was used for statistical analysis.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Mean age of women who sought treatment for substance use disorder in the centre was 42 ±14 years. The mean age at initiation of alcohol was 27 ±9 years, alcohol dependence was 34 ±10.6 years. Majority (65%) belonged below poverty line. 59% were married and living with their spouse. 55% of them sought treatment either on their own or brought by family members, 38% referred by the psychiatrist. More than one-third (36%) had primary school education. Nearly one-third (27%) of them had repeated admissions more than once. Acceptance of child with intellectual disability becomes difficult to parents along with family particularly when competence and achievement are very much valued in modern world. A parent shows a series of reactions shock, denial, guilt, sorrow, rejection and acceptance after knowing that their child is intellectual disabled. This study is based on quality of life and family burden among parents of children with intellectual disability and it is gender-based study. Aim: To study the gender differences in term of Quality of Life and Family Burden among parents of children with intellectual disability. Methods and Material: It is cross sectional study conducted at Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Samples were recruited through purposive sampling technique. Semistructured interview schedule was developing to assess the demographics profile, Quality of life scales and family burden schedule were administered on parents of children with ID. The level of well-being and productivity an employee has depends on how well the stresses at the workplace are managed. As the stresses at the workplace are increasing and affecting the quality of life, it is important to study the effectiveness of mindfulness in mitigating stress and improving wellbeing. Aim: The aim of the study was to study the level of mindfulness and perceived stress between the private sector and public sector employees. Methods: Atotal of 156 participants, of which 96 were private-sector employees and 60 were public sector employees, 67 female and 89 male employees were studied. Five facets of the mindfulness questionnaire were used to measure the level of mindfulness, and the perceived stress questionnaire was used to assess the level of stress. Results and Conclusion: The study has found that there was no statistically significant difference (p>.05) in mindfulness and perceived stress between private sector employees and public sector employees. There was a negative correlation between mindfulness and perceived stress (r= -.504,p< .01). The study has concluded that mindfulness is an effective tool in mitigating workplace stress and in improving the psychological well-being of employees.
