In this work, we found that sharp spikes of electromagnetic transmission can also be generated at certain conditions by the defect containing resonators. The sharp needle like angle and frequency dependence of spikes induced by metal or defect can serve as a ground effect in compact and reliable direction control devices and THz radiation collimating devices.","PeriodicalId":92654,"journal":{"name":"International journal of biosensors & bioelectronics","volume":"9 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67071706","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Unfortunately, as different antenna design produces different radiation pattern, it will lead to different heating distribution values. With these values, the time duration of the exposure for the cancer cell will also be different. In this research, the capability of a dipole antenna as hyperthermia applicator has been analyzed. The analysis has been done using simulation model in CST microwave simulation software based on FDTD technique. The result shows that the dipole antenna is deemed to be used as hyperthermia applicator. The heating pattern from the dipole antenna based on SAR distribution pattern shows that the focus area of the human tissues model, that has been designed using water bolus model has high Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) value compare to the surrounding area.","PeriodicalId":92654,"journal":{"name":"International journal of biosensors & bioelectronics","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67071889","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The lamp operation necessitates a driver that provides an energy saving and cost reduction potential when the frequency of the alternating current is tuned from the commonly used low frequency range to a higher frequency range. However, such an operation can result in low frequency luminous fluctuations, lamp extinction or even destruction. The excitation of acoustic resonances in the high frequency range is the reason for the instable behaviour; therefore a predictive model was established in order to give us at which frequencies light flicker can be expected. Moreover, we conducted an experimental study, which allows the electrical detection of frequency regions, in which the discharge arc behaves instable. Furthermore, an optical system is incorporated to record images of the discharge arc during stable and instable operating conditions. The results enable a considerably better understanding of the flicker phenomenon in HID lamps and facilitate the development of energy efficient drivers.","PeriodicalId":92654,"journal":{"name":"International journal of biosensors & bioelectronics","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67071845","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Three different method for laccase enzyme immobilization on screen printed carbon electrode (SPCE) were compared for the development of quercetin biosensors. In this work, gluteraldehyde and nafion were deposited onto enzyme electrode surface and were evaluated by cyclic voltammetric and chronoamperometric. The measurements were performed in 0.05M acetate buffer (pH 5.0). The modified biosensor for quercetin detection based on laccase/gluteraldehyde/SPCE gives highest sensitivity (341.2µAmM -1 cm -2 ) at concentration of laccase (100mgmL -1 ) and at applied potential +0.2V. The range of detection is from 1.0 to 20.0 µM (R 2 =0.99) with a detection limit of 3.74µM and response time of 2.45s.","PeriodicalId":92654,"journal":{"name":"International journal of biosensors & bioelectronics","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67071809","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This model of “modern” and energyintensive civilization has since spread widely across the globe and continues to gain ground in developing countries today. This was made possible by an energy supply mainly provided by fossil fuels, to the point that these currently represent more than 80% of the world’s primary energy production. But, because of the greenhouse gas emissions that it produces, this energy consumption, which has become gigantic and still growing on a global scale, is at the origin of climate change that must now be mitigated and which must be addressed. Adapt throughout this century. In this context of an everworsening environmental crisis, the energy transition appears to be the cornerstone of the fight against climate change and more generally as a centrepiece of sustainable development, at all levels, from local to global. In short, it is the centrepiece of a broader transition to a lowcarbon economy and society and sustainable lifestyles. On a global scale and in a context of triumphant modern civilization, the ultimate and urgent question concerns, not our ability to meet growing energy needs in the coming decades, but rather our ability to control energy consumption. (energy management, lifestyles, territorial organization, etc.) while developing as quickly as possible the share of “green” energies in our energy systems, to the point where they will become dominant, or even possibly the only ones. major forms of exploited energy resources. A large-scale energy transition therefore appears essential.","PeriodicalId":92654,"journal":{"name":"International journal of biosensors & bioelectronics","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67072063","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
