Their plight further deteriorated with the advent of COVID-19 pandemic that struck the world economy. Zimbabwe was not spared from this as most parents of children with disabilities are in the informal sector that was badly hit by COVID-19 lockdown measures that prohibited them from trading. This affected children with disabilities to access their basic needs. The study was conducted on children with disabilities in Chiredzi South which is a rural community. The study used qualitative methodology in the form of desk review and virtual questionnaires and key informant interviews. These virtual interviews used the ODK application and ONA server. The main findings of the study were that there are eight disabilities types in Chiredzi South that are prevalent to children, lack of movement enablers, lack of telecommunication infrastructure hindered education and health access for children with disabilities. The main conclusions were that children living with disabilities in Chiredzi did not receive meaningful help from government and non-governmental organisations during COVID-19 pandemic; they are further excluded from accessing basic services such as education and health. The recommendations of the study are making sure that special teachers are at schools during lockdown with government providing them with protective equipment, introduction of subsidies to assist children with disabilities in schools, accessibility of appro-priate medication for those who live on special medication, and many other recommendations as outlined at the end of the paper.

Through the analysis of the ordered logit model, it was confirmed \u0000that the variables of residents’ \u0000participation and community system construction were significantly positively \u0000correlated with the satisfaction variables of democratic decision-making. There \u0000were some problems in the democratic decision-making in the process of \u0000relocation of disaster-prone villages in Beijing, such as inconsistent \u0000decision-making content and residents’ attention, weak participation \u0000consciousness, single form, poor channel, and imperfect legal system \u0000construction. Based on these, we put forward the following policy \u0000recommendations: 1) Bring industrial development and major livelihood issues \u0000into the content system of democratic decision-making; 2) Enrich the forms of democratic decision-making, increase \u0000decision-making channels, and enhance residents’ enthusiasm for participation; 3) Strengthen the system construction, so that democratic \u0000decision-making could be based on laws and regulations.

The agricultural \u0000cooperation between China and African countries under the China-Africa Community with a Shared Future has made great \u0000achievements. The agricultural economy is one of the main sources of \u0000income for Zimbabwe’s national wealth. China-Zimbabwe agricultural cooperation \u0000has promoted the rapid recovery and development of Zimbabwe’s national economy. \u0000However, there are still many outstanding problems in specific cooperation \u0000practices, such as the one-way tilt of aid, \u0000low added value of crops, and serious debt problems. These questions \u0000influence the advancement of agricultural cooperation between the two countries in varying degrees. Based on \u0000literature analysis, this article starts from the status quo of \u0000agricultural cooperation between China and Zimbabwe, \u0000deeply analyzes the problems existing in the development of agricultural \u0000cooperation between China and Zimbabwe, and proposes targeted countermeasures to promote the agricultural \u0000cooperation between China and Zimbabwe to a higher level.
