Cope","doi":"10.1504/ijmbs.2023.128603","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1504/ijmbs.2023.128603","url":null,"abstract":"The nascent field of comparative migration law can do more than classify different approaches to migration law; it is well-positioned to address important open questions about law's impact on migrants, migration, and citizens. It can also help us better understand how and why countries enact certain immigration laws. To do so, researchers must draw on methods from the disciplines that have long studied migration institutions both comparatively and empirically. These social sciences offer particularly fertile grounds for methodological borrowing, given the well-developed data and empirical literatures that have emerged over the past few decades to better understand the causes and effects of migration, and the causal inference 'credibility revolution'. Researchers should also consider the insights developed in comparative law generally about the appropriate objects of comparison. Hal ini berarti perguruan tinggi sebagai episentrum pendidikan juga diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan peranannya karena perguruan tinggi memiliki andil besar dalam mobilisasi ribuan mahasiswa tiap harinya. Namun, untuk mewujudkan sustainable mobility, banyak tantangan yang harus dapat dituntaskan oleh kampus, baik dalam segi infrastruktur maupun sistem manajemen kampus. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji mobilitas berkelanjutan yang ada pada kampus Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jawa Timur (UPNVJT) melalui kajian tatanan bangunan yang direfleksikan dari perilaku parkir sepeda motor mahasiswa. Kajian akan dilakukan melalui metode observasi kondisi eksisting dan mengkaji kondisi infrastruktur kampus UPNVJT terhadap sustainable mobility. Data dari responden juga digunakan untuk menjelaskan perilaku parkir mahasiswa atas tanggapan terhadap tatanan infrastruktur kampus. Hasil penelitian ini menyebutkan bahwa tatanan bangunan UPNVJT masih belum merefleksikan sustainable mobility yang optimal.
