The clustering of text documents are the special issue in text mining for unlabeled train documents. Fortunately, there are many proposed features and methods to resolve this problem. The framework of text document classification consists of: input text document, preprocessing, feature extraction and clustering. The common classification methods are: self-organization map, k-means and mixture of Gaussians. The correlation of resulted clusters is based on selecting a distance measure method. The main focus of this paper is to present different exiting distance measure methods along with k-means clustering for text document clustering. The experiment performed k-means clustering on the Newsgroups dataset and measure clustering entropy to evaluate the different distance measure methods.","PeriodicalId":89778,"journal":{"name":"International journal of biomaterials research and engineering","volume":"16 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82360869","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, for maximum efficiency, a solar photovoltaic panel must be perpendicular to the sun. As a result of this, a tracking device is required to ensure that solar panels are always directly perpendicular to the direct component of the sun. Such a tracking device is referred to as a sun seeker. This research work describes the development of a single-axis sun seeker using three sensors. Light-dependent resistors are used as sensors. The light intensity received by two of the sensors is compared by two comparators and an appropriate signal is sent to the driving mechanism which moves the solar panel tray until the right and left sensors receive an equal amount of light intensity. The middle sensor was designed to activate the speed control unit of the system when it senses the required light intensity. The whole system runs on a 12V rechargeable battery. A battery charger circuit with automatic cut-off was incorporated to the design to keep the battery topped-up and to prevent overcharging.","PeriodicalId":89778,"journal":{"name":"International journal of biomaterials research and engineering","volume":"51 1","pages":"434-438"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78296618","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The robot is programmed using the Python language to detect, identify, and handle objects in places that are inaccessible or dangerous to humans. The robot assists people with limited mobility to find and retrieve hidden or lost objects. The two distinct modes of operation are the assistive autonomous mode, and the exploratory, operator-controlled mode, respectively. In the autonomous mode, the robot moves automatically and uses its pre-programmed input parameters and signals from the ultrasonic sensors and video camera to navigate by avoiding obstacles; upon detecting the target object, the motion ceases, the robotic arm extends, grasps, and retrieves the object. The operator can afterwards direct the robot towards other zones for exploration or object retrieval. In the exploratory mode, the operator controls the movement of the robot and visualizes on a monitor the images continuously sent by the on-board video camera. Future development may consist of implementing the autonomous mode in which objects in motion will be tracked and retrieved.","PeriodicalId":89778,"journal":{"name":"International journal of biomaterials research and engineering","volume":"80 1","pages":"404-410"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86624472","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To execute this method, two models of standard branch and the Newton-Raphson method are also mentioned to analyze and determine values of bus voltage and currents going through lines in whole system. The EN 50160 standard is introduced to evaluate all operational parameters and propose solutions to reduce risks. In additionally, the cost function method is introduced basing on cost of purchasing compensative device, power loss in own compensators and whole system after compensating. By considering partial derivative of cost function with respect to variables, optimal sizing and location of shunt capacitors can be determined for all buses in the system. Analyzing the system by using the Newton-Raphson method in stable mode, all operational parameters are evaluated to see the benefit of placing capacitors in some criterions: reduce the current going through all lines and increase value of bus voltage in whole system. Theory research are verified by simulation results carried out in Matlab 2016 software.","PeriodicalId":89778,"journal":{"name":"International journal of biomaterials research and engineering","volume":"50 1","pages":"378-387"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87121460","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This project work was carried out to investigate the properties of particulate snail shell reinforced unsaturated polyester matrix composites. The snail shell particulate was calcinated, pulverized and sieved to -75 µm. The composites were developed using predetermined varying filler content. For each of the developed composites, the mixture was missed thoroughly until homogenous paste was obtained and poured into the mould and was allowed to cure before removing from the mould. The developed composites were then characterized by flexural and wear tests. The result showed that better results can be obtained within 5-20 wt% reinforcement addition since 25-30 wt% tends to give weak results in all. The result also proved that properties of the developed composites were highly enhanced compared to the unreinforced polyester material. The optimum properties were observed at 20% filler content.","PeriodicalId":89778,"journal":{"name":"International journal of biomaterials research and engineering","volume":"347 1","pages":"373-377"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75380983","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
