DCOPs are known to be NP-Hard and therefore need incomplete search algorithms. Local search algorithms for DCOPs are incomplete distributed algorithms that start from some initial state and attempt to find improved solutions ( [10, 13]). When the constraints have different values for the constrained agents, the problems are termed Asymmetric DCOPs, or ADCOPs. Standard local search algorithms, such as DSA or MGM, are not guaranteed to converge on ADCOPs. When convergence does happen, the solution is not necessarily an extremum of the global social welfare. This is true also for local search algorithms that were designed specifically for asymmetric DCOPs [3]. The present paper proposes an iterative local search algorithm for ADCOPs, that relies on the analogy between ADCOPs and multi-agents games. In each iteration of the algorithm agents can propose side-payments to their neighbors, in return to their choice of an assignment that is preferred by the agent offering the side payment. It is shown that the proposed protocol produces a behavior of the distributed algorithm that is an extension of the best-response dynamics in muti-agent games. These properties of the proposed Bidding Efficient Equilibria Contracts (BEECon) algorithm guarantee convergence towards a local optimum of the global social welfare. Extensive experimental evaluation on randomly generated ADCOPs demonstrates that convergence is fast and that the resulting solutions are of higher social welfare than those of the best former ADCOP local search algorithm.","PeriodicalId":89230,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings. This paper presents a policy management framework which we have named as the SANIJO policy framework. The framework consists of two types of policies, which are socio-ethical and administrative policies. Each policy further comprises three different types of rules, which are authorisation, obligation and prohibition rules that are applicable to smart internet-connected devices for managing their interactions in IoT collectives. An XML policy language which we have named as the SANIJO language is also designed for describing the desired interaction behaviours of smart devices. The policy management framework and the policy language are prototyped in the SANIJO system, which is a collection of mobile applications, multiple robot applications, smart speakers and smart camera applications. The SANIJO system is then illustrated based on an education open day scenario.","PeriodicalId":89230,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings. In our proposal, the number of interactions between the physician and the patient is reduced to a strict minimum on the one hand and, on the other hand, it is made possible to increase the number of questions to be asked if the uncertainty about the diagnosis persists. These advantages are due to the fact that (i) we implement a reasoning component that allows us to predict a symptom from another symptom without explicitly asking the patient, (ii) we consider non-binary values for the weights associated to the symptoms, and (iii) we introduce a dataset filtering process in order to choose which partition should be used with respect to some particular characteristics of the patient The experimental results we obtained are very encouraging.","PeriodicalId":89230,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings. Traditional manual detection of vulnerabilities has the disadvantages of low batch processing efficiency and unstable vulnerability detection rate. This article combines vulnerability mining and artificial intelligence, using bidirectional LSTM network. Feature learning is used as the core algorithm of the automatic vulnerability mining module, and has been applied in practice in the world-class urban power distribution network demonstration project in the ancient city of Suzhou. The application results show that the terminal vulnerability mining system based on artificial intelligence can greatly improve the automatic discovery ability and analysis efficiency of terminal equipment high-risk vulnerabilities, and can effectively improve the defects of traditional methods that cannot be batched and modularized.","PeriodicalId":89230,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings. Many NLP tasks utilize document embeddings as machine-understandable semantic representations of documents. However, such document embeddings are optimized for short texts, such as sentences or paragraphs. When faced with longer texts, these models either truncate the long text or split it sequentially into smaller chunks. We show that when applied to a fictional novel, these traditional document embeddings fail to capture all its facets. Complex information, such as time, place, atmosphere, style, and plot is typically not represented adequately. To this end, we propose lib2vec which computes and combines multiple embedding vectors based on various facets. Instead of splitting the text sequentially, lib2vec splits the text semantically based on domain-specific facets. We evaluate the semantic expressiveness using human-assessed book comparisons as well as content-based information retrieval tasks. The results show that our approach outperforms state-of-the-art document embeddings for long texts.","PeriodicalId":89230,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings. The contributions of this paper are three-fold: 1) filtering methods that select promising candidate accounts with high precision while effectively reducing the number of API calls, 2) a new method for extracting interpretable feature vectors (interest vectors) from each account by utilizing standardized categories for marketing communication, and 3) a follower prediction model by utilizing the above candidate selection methods and interpretable interest vectors. Experiments on Twitter data confirm that our follower prediction model performs well with a small number of API calls and clarify which dimension of interest vectors (interest category) contributes to prediction performance.","PeriodicalId":89230,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings. Therefore, many papers had provided the solution called embeddability, which is an indicator to measure the ability of combining advantages of different networks. This paper considered grid embeddings as an example because they have many applications such as simulation capabilities of a parallel architecture, designing VLSI layout etc. As a modification of the hypercube, Cube-Connected Cycles (CCC) has good symmetry, low diameter and strong connectivity. In this paper, we focused on the minimum wirelength in the linear layout and grid layout of the CCC. Firstly, we analyzed the recursive structure characteristics and properties of CCC. Then, the maximum induced subgraph of CCC is obtained by theoretical analysis. Next, an embedded mode is proposed to layout CCC onto a linear array and we derived an exact formula for the minimum wirelength. Furthermore, we devised an optimal embedding of the n-dimensional CCC onto a grid network.","PeriodicalId":89230,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings. For such a scenario, the investor poses questions such as “What characteristic better represents a product?” or “What features make a product popular?” Unlike traditional recommendation problems, in this case, there is no user feedback for the upcoming products, which greatly complicates prediction. To address this challenging yet common scenario, we present an unconventional multi-task learning framework that trains the prediction model on information for mature products that have user feedback, and then uses this model to predict the success of upcoming products for which there is no user feedback. To achieve this goal, we train a main task network to extract product features from their descriptions while at the same time training a disposable auxiliary network to learn domain-specific words and popular trends from user reviews. This disposable auxiliary network is beneficial during the training of the main task network but is unused at the inference stage. Empirical results on two real-world datasets in different languages demonstrate that the proposed framework not only improves the overall rating prediction for products but also identifies the top successful products without any user reviews.","PeriodicalId":89230,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings. It is an electrical signal that evolves from the heart and changes over time. It is vulnerable to interference from various low-frequency and high-frequency noise. This paper proposes a new adaptive power threshold function to achieve the denoising of ECG signals. On the basis of wavelet transformation and smooth decomposition, the power threshold function is used to perform an adaptive threshold denoising on the decomposed signal with high frequency noise. The signal is reconstructed from the denoised high frequency components and useful components and coefficients of the remaining layers are set at zero. Taking the ECG signal in the MIT-BIH ECG database as the original data, adding different degrees of Gaussian white noise for experimental analysis, it is proved from the quantitative and qualitative aspects that the proposed method has superiority in removing the noise of the ECG signal compared with the traditional threshold function.","PeriodicalId":89230,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings. Due to their incompleteness, several models have been proposed to predict missing relationships (link prediction task). To date, the most effective methods are based on embedding models, representing entities and relationships as a multi-dimensional vectors in a vector space. Explaining the results of this task means finding a meaningful reason for which entities are predicted as linked. This work presents a structural and semantically enriched approach for generating explanations for link predictions, by exploring the data available in the knowledge graph. The solution searches for paths and examples of similar situations that justify the prediction carried out using numerical approaches. Specifically, CrossE is adopted as the underlying embedding model to compute predictions. Then explanations are searched exploiting ad hoc semantic similarity measures. The proposed solution has been experimentally evaluated, showing that the new approach is able to provide meaningful explanations compared to the considered baseline.","PeriodicalId":89230,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings.
