The number of somatic chromosomes in normal people is 23 pairs, and there have shapes and structures. It has been found that there are more than 100 kinds of chromosomal diseases caused by chromosomal abnormalities. Chromosome diseases can often cause miscarriage, congenital, congenital multiple malformations, cancer, etc. At present the research on chromosomal sequences has carried out. People have been looking for a suitable visualization model. In this type of visualization models, there is no problem of information degradation and data loss, and a complete chromosomal sequence distribution feature can be mapped. There are multiple sets of chromosomal sequences in species, and a comparative analysis is needed to find out some of the relationships between chromosomes in humans during evolution. In this paper, variant maps are used to illustrate the segmentation probability of the chromosome sequences of Homo sapiens and non-human primate species, distributions of different chromosomal sequence features are compared and analyzed by multiple two-dimension statistical probability maps.","PeriodicalId":88542,"journal":{"name":"Journal of computer science and systems biology","volume":"163 1","pages":"35-41"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85416512","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To solve this, the Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) and DoD must successfully migrate to a joint cloud based electronic health record (EHR) system. It must be centralized, always up, and easily accessed through a tablet or a smartphone. 83% of healthcare organizations are using cloud based applications today. The AFMS and DoD healthcare will not remain a high reliability organization unless cloud migration is successful. A successful cloud migration will enable all treatment to be electronically documented jointly and available across multiple echelons in the expeditionary continuum of care. If successful, the DoD will deliver the world’s first globally integrated cloud based expeditionary healthcare system. Qualitative and quantitative analysis in this research concludes that cloud migrations must properly address IT security and cloud privacy concerns. The DoD must reach out to software vendors to help them integrate security standards cheaply during product design. Success here will allow the use of innovative application development platforms such as Amazon Cloud as well as Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software and telehealth applications.","PeriodicalId":88542,"journal":{"name":"Journal of computer science and systems biology","volume":"118 1","pages":"1-10"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79399061","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Among the many signs of life, the one which seems truly ubiquitous is effort expended on maintaining the internal environment in living constructs independent of its surroundings. Stability of the internal environment is based on automatic regulation, which, in turn, depends on negative feedback. Manifestation of features produced by this effort is taken as the most specific sign of life. Hence, automatism of regulation differentiates living creatures from inanimate objects. The paper explains why regulation needs to be automatic, and discusses those attributes of automatic regulation which are particularly relevant in the context of life.","PeriodicalId":88542,"journal":{"name":"Journal of computer science and systems biology","volume":"1 1","pages":"1-6"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-01-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86953584","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, the apoptosis pathway in this fungus may be an important target for the development of new drugs. \u0000Materials and Methods: From a data bank, we analyzed five different proteins (Bax, Bir, Nma111, Pca1, and Rad9) belonging to the apoptosis pathway in the genome of Aspergillus fumigatus. Phylogenetic trees, splits graphs, recombination analyses, and assessment of selection strength from codon to codon were developed to understand the evolution and the function of these proteins in the fungus. \u0000Results: Our results suggest a conservation of these proteins in the Aspergillaceae family, as well as a low rate of gene recombination with a putative preservation of the function. \u0000Conclusion: We thus propose that the apoptosis pathway in Aspergillus fumigatus is started with the Rad9 protein followed by the activation of Bax and Pca1 proteins. Also, Nma111 cleaves the Bir protein resulting in the consequent activation of the Bax protein. Further studies are necessary to better understand the apoptosis process in Aspergillus fumigatus and to confirm the proteins belonging to the pathway.","PeriodicalId":88542,"journal":{"name":"Journal of computer science and systems biology","volume":"1 1","pages":"136-153"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-01-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84773675","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A word can contain more than one sense, but machine can’t extract the actual sense of the given particular content. Implication of this situation is mismatch between the user requirements and result generates through the machine. e.g., User wants to search a query “What is word sensing?” The machine can’t find the relation between these two words “word”, “sensing”. Relationship between words cannot be extracted by the machine and more results corresponding to sensing is displayed and user requirements corresponding to “Word Sensing” as a whole are rejected. primary reason for this mismatch is due to static dictionary possessed by web servers. Techniques we are analysis different types of techniques and algorithms for the word sense. The major techniques are which used to word sense are knowledge based approaches are based on different knowledge sources as machine readable dictionaries to extract the sense like thesauri, Word net are machine readable dictionaries to find the word sense, Supervised learning technique is a manually extract the sense from the data. In this process trained the target words through the labelling, unsupervised learning technique in this process words are no needs to be trained target data are based on the clustering, Semi-Supervised learning technique is a hybrid approach of the supervised and unsupervised. In this process target words are based on the particular content. Tools for building word database to be accessed by the web applications including Word Net, Image Net and Babel Net are discussed in this literature. Over the 23-year period of study, bark coverage on all surfaces was relatively constant. Decision trees are able to predict cactus death up to 96%. Three machine learning programs used similar surface coverages to make similar predictions of future bark coverage and cactus death accurately (approximately 92%), for cacti that had overall bark coverage less than 80% on south-facing surfaces. Higher prediction accuracies were obtained for cacti with were low bark percentages. While bark coverage rates and cactus death were less accurate for cacti with higher bark percentages because cacti can remain with high bark percentages with many years prior to death. MDS, also termed as myeloid neoplasms, is described by different level of cytopenia that is a different level of blood cells in the body. Various genes mutations have been reported to associate with MDS. To investigate the mechanisms at molecular level underlying MDS patients carrying genetic mutations, the gene expression profiles of MDS the patients were compared to that of healthy individuals and analyzed by bioinformatics tools. In biological networks, genes having important functional roles can be identified by a measure of the node. Networks of genes an in co-expression, candidate hubs also called extremely associated genes have been connected with the key disease-related pathway. Thus, this technique was used to discover the MDS related genes hub. Affymetrix Human Genome U133 plus 2.0 gene expression dataset of microarray GSE58831 was retrieved from GEO (Gene Expression Omnibus) database that contained four 159 diseased samples and 17 samples of control. Based on statistical method and co-expression networking, DEGs gene was detected. DAVID an online tool was employed for Gene ontology (GO) function and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis of DEGs. Besides, PPI (Protein-protein interaction) networks were developed by mapping the DEGs with respect to protein-protein interaction set available in databases for the identification of the pathways involving DEGs. PPI interaction networks were divided into subnetworks via MCODE algorithm and were examined by Cytoscape. Interferon Signaling Pathway, cellular response to zinc ions and negative growth regulation. Immune response, negative regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promotor, positive regulation of smooth muscle cell proliferation and cellular response to Dexamethasone stimulus, extracellular matrix, extracellular space, and extracellular region were the main enriched processes and pathways in these DEGs and many of the hub genes’ (UBC, TP53, EGFR, GADPH, CREBBP, HDAC1, STAT1, IL6, ESR1, SMAD4) reported in this study were purposed as novel therapeutic targets against MDS disease.","PeriodicalId":88542,"journal":{"name":"Journal of computer science and systems biology","volume":"78 1","pages":"184-189"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89738808","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Heart Rate measurement with smart phone is used by many people all over the world and different applications are developed. But, there are few issues behind the proper measurement like motion, baseline drift, power line interference, low amplitude PPG, and premature ventricular contraction and noise in the signal. While capturing red contact video of fingertips, miss touch errors can produce significant variation in real result as noise gets incorporated. Similarly, high pressure on camera and low pressure on camera can produce incorrect PPG signal and therefore, mislead to incorrect result. They can be treated as noise and needs to be removed up to a level to keep up the originality of a signal to give correct BPM rate. Here, in our study we have introduced an algorithm to get rid of certain percent of miss touch errors and thereby calculate heart rate from noise free signal, accurately. Here in our study, we have focused on Non-Invasive PPG signal based Heart Rate monitoring from skin blood flow using IR light at 900 nm wavelength. We have captured contact unfocused video to capture PPG using smart phone and developed algorithm to remove some percent of touch errors and followed by noise removal with 2nd Order Butterworth (IIR) band pass filter with frequency domain analysis and Hann Windowing for leakage reduction.
