This abstract explores how biotechnology could revolutionize the construction industry and green building projects. It highlights the potential of biotechnology to reduce the environmental impact of construction through the use of sustainable materials and techniques. The study reviews the various biotechnology-based approaches that could improve the construction process, such as the use of genetically modified bacteria to produce bio-based materials and the use of biocatalysts to enhance the durability and strength of building materials. The study also examines the potential impact of biotechnology on the green building industry, with a focus on the development of energy-efficient and sustainable buildings. These centers are vital in providing important facilities and capitals for new start-ups. This study aimed at identifying the governmental, industrial, and academic partnerships between incubation centers for furthering innovation in biotechnology firms in Singapore. For this purpose, semi-structured interviews were conducted with five employers from top management in biotechnology firms in Singapore. After the collection data, qualitative analysis was conducted in two steps (step 1: thematic analysis and step 2: word cloud analysis). The results obtained from this study showed that incubation centers play an important role in establishing early-stage biotech start-ups, promoting bio-entrepreneurship. It has also been observed that different challenges are faced during incubation process which include legal issues, infrastructure issues, strategic alliances issues and others. Search strategies enable low money wastage and save time as there is no need for trial-and-error treatments. However, the adoption of personalized medication and required technology has been slow across the world, including in the European Union. In the scope of the current study, the researcher has focused on the personalized medication landscape in France. The aim of the researcher was to analyze the general information regarding personalized medication within the country, the regulatory and reimbursement processes within the country, and the various barriers and solutions to them. For this purpose, the researcher contacted industry professionals, researchers, and policymakers in order to conduct export interviews to collect the data. Thematic analysis was applied to this data to find out that there are many barriers faced, especially in terms of knowledge and education for personalized medication. However, the outbreak of different viral diseases such as influenza, covid-19 etc. has encouraged medical research in different developing and developed countries. Similarly, in Malaysia, different public and private research centers and biotechnology firms are being promoted to develop new and innovative medical drugs and equipment. However, different challenges are faced by the developers in promoting the development and innovations of medical commodities. Thus, this study was conducted to investigate different challenges in the development, funding, and reimbursement of medical innovations in Malaysia. For this purpose, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 7 developers from different public research and development (R&D) centers and biotechnology firms in Malaysia. After the interviews were conducted, their edited transcription was obtained, and thematic analysis was conducted, and different themes and sub-themes were formulated. The results obtained from this study showed that the lack of innovative environment, strategic compliances and effective funding structure negatively influences medical innovations in Malaysia. It has also been observed that poor reimbursement practices and policies and lack of pricing strategies by the Malaysian government impacts the ROI of the associated firms and developers. The study aimed to assess whether using an ERP system impacts the performance of biotechnologies firms (FP). The study undertook Business Model Innovation (BMI) and Top Management Support (TMS) as mediators. Data was collected from managers in Biotechnology companies in Malaysia through purposive sampling. A sample of 276 respondents was analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling for evaluating the model fitness and structural linkages. The results showed no significant association between the ERP system and FP. Nevertheless, it was found that BMI and TMS significantly mediate the relationship between ERP systems and FP. The findings of the study have added empirical evidence to the existing literature on ERP systems. They are useful in helping managers and decision-makers in organizations to take the necessary steps to implement and use ERP systems.
