There are two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit of compound (II). As expected, the pyridine rings are almost planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.002 Å). In the molecules A and B of the compound II, the substituents (except methyl and cyano groups) attached to the pyridine ring, are inclined to the different directions. In the crystal of compound I, molecules are arranged into the parallel layers to the (001) plane which there exist weak π-π interactions in the c-direction. In the crystal of compound II, molecules are linked by C—H···O hydrogen bonds, forming infinite C(9) chains along the b-axis. Furthermore, C—H···π interactions contribute to the stabilization of molecular packing. Elham A. All the cavity walls are considered to be cold except the bottom wall that is considered thermally insulated and contains a heat source. The nanofluids consist of water as a base fluid and copper as nanoparticles. The fractional partial differential equations are transformed to non-dimensional form and then solved numerically using the finite differences method. The obtained numerical data are presented in terms of streamlines and isotherms contours as well as local and average Nusselt numbers. The results revealed that both of the local and average Nusselt numbers are supported as the order of the fractional derivatives decreases.","PeriodicalId":8568,"journal":{"name":"Assiut University Journal of Multidisciplinary Scientific Research","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88356894","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The HTTP flooding attack is the most common type of DDoS attacks that targets application layer. The malicious DDoS packets are encapsulated with the huge amount of normal traffic, so this type of attack is considered the hardest one for detection. The available detection techniques for the HTTP flooding attack usually used similarity methods for traffic attributes or machine learning algorithms but these techniques are not effective especially for large scale networks. In this paper, a new detection technique is presented based on conditional probability and Bayes’ theorem. First the probability value for every normal traffic attribute is calculated. Then, we compute the conditional probability for the same attribute in any incoming connection given the occurrence of the same value in the previous normal traffic. Finally, the total probability is calculated by using the Bayes’ theorem to classify it either as normal or abnormal connection. The performance of the proposed technique is evaluated by extensive simulation in terms of its detection rate, probability of false positive and false negative.","PeriodicalId":8568,"journal":{"name":"Assiut University Journal of Multidisciplinary Scientific Research","volume":"66 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78557695","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Among all types of DNA damage, DNA double-strand break (DSB) is considered to be of the most cytotoxic lesions. During meiosis, DNA DSBs is induced physiologically by the topoisomerase II like protein (Spo11). These induced breaks are repaired by a physiological and complicated repair process known as meiotic recombination (MR). Here, I analyzed and compared the expression of two of these highly conserved proteins, the recombinase Rad51 and the DSB marker phosphorylated enotsih variant γ-H2AX, which involve in the MR process during mouse and yeast meiosis. Consistent with previous studies, the expression analysis of γ-h2ax fluorescent (FL) foci formation during mouse MR show that the induced DSBs during leptotene stage of meiosis are fully repair at the end of pachytene stage except for spontaneous foci that represent persistent un-repaired ones. The recombinase Rad51 clearly marks the MR progression, where foci appear at early zygotene stage and disappear at the end recombination process when scynaptonaemal complex (SC) proteins signal degraded. However, both western blot and foci kinetics analysis of γ-H2A (human and mouse homologue) and Rad51 in WT and Spo11 knockout strains, revealed that γ-H2A is not a good marker for DSBs in during MR of yeast meiosis.","PeriodicalId":8568,"journal":{"name":"Assiut University Journal of Multidisciplinary Scientific Research","volume":"4 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90397394","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They form strongly foliated and folded mappable units, including (in the core): Um Baanib granite-gneiss, followed structurally upward by Fiadiya augen schists, Gabal Meatiq phyllonitic mylonites, Abu Zohleiqa augen gneisses, Um Esh El-hamra quartzofeldspathic mylonites, and Abu Fannani mylonitic amphibolites. These appear to have been largely derived from granitic, pelitic to semipelitic, and basaltic to basaltic andesite rocks. The present work is focused only on the Abu Fannani mylonitic amphibolites which occur mainly in the shear zone constituting the frame of the Meatiq Dome. The amphibolite xenoliths hosted by the Um Baanib granite-gneiss are supposed to be originally belonging to the Abu Fannani unit. Field and petrographic characteristics of both amphibolitic types indicate that they were undergone a complex evolution of repeated deformations and metamorphisms. These were genetically connected with three major events, including subduction, obduction and updoming processes. Due to subduction, the original basaltic to basaltic andesites, together with the pelitic to semipelitic sediments formed a strongly folded and highly metamorphosed (M1) orogenic belt. The lower part of this belt was migmatized and intruded by a synkinematic granite (i.e., Um Baanib granite-gneiss). During obduction, thick nappes overrode the highly metamorphosed belt leading to its transformation into high-to mediumgrade mylonites having the amphibolite facies grade metamorphism (M2). Thereafter, updoming processes originally linked with the Najd Fault System took place where brittle-ductile shear zones accompanied with greenschist facies metamorphism (M3) were achieved. Regarding geochemistry of the amphibolites, major elements refer to their derivation from tholeiitic basalt to basaltic andesites. In Harker variation diagrams, immobile and incompatible elements (Zr,Ti,Y, and P) show good linear correlation relative to the mobile elements. Tectonic discrimination diagrams suggest the presence of two tectonic settings for both amphibolites, i.e., within-plate and MORB environments.","PeriodicalId":8568,"journal":{"name":"Assiut University Journal of Multidisciplinary Scientific Research","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80834450","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The taxonomic relationships among taxa were analyzed by means of numerical analysis using UPGMA clustering as well as PCA analysis based on 24 morphological and palynological characters. Shape of pollen, aperture characters and exine sculpturing were described. Based on pollen shape in the equatorial view, four classes were recognized: prolate, subprolate, perprolate and spheroidal– prolate. All the studied pollen grains have tricolporate apertures. The results revealed five patterns of exine sculpturing: reticulate heterobrochate, reticulate-verrucate, punctate, fossulate and microreticulate, the later considered the most dominant type of exine sculpture among the taxa under investigation. Ononis pubescens has the largest pollen grains among the taxa under investigation. Pollen characters proved that it can be useful to differentiate taxa on the sub-sectional level, for example O. diffusa and O. serrata (the representing taxa of sect. Ononis sub-sect. Diffusae) can be easily differentiated from O. mitissima (the representing taxon of sect. Ononis sub-sect.
