To the outsider, chaos seems to reign. Yet economic progress has been made in the last three years. Behind this chaotic democracy lie strong roots for enormous growth in its fledgling financial markets. Lacking the resources and experience to sell effectively abroad, manufacturers often rely on export management companies (EMCs) to act as their export departments. How successful have these arrangements been?
