\u0000* * * \u0000Interpretating quantum physics involves creating a system of philosophical (ontological) propositions that attempts to explain experimentally observed quantum phenomena by describing the composition of matter (in the broad sense of the term), as well as its properties. One of these is the relational interpretation, which is presented here from a purely realistic point of view (i.e., without granting any particular physical status to conscious observers) so as to be more widely understood, without the need for any prerequisite training, and thus excludes the use of mathematical formalism. Although presenting this interpretation is a fairly simple task, it still raises certain questions that will briefly be addressed in order to provide an overview of the various avenues of research in this field.

\u0000* * * \u0000On 13 October 2021, Michel-Yves Bolloré and Olivier Bonnassies published their book entitled Dieu, la science, les preuves : l’aube d’une révolution [God, Science, Evidence : the dawn of a revolution] with a view to providing fresh evidence for the existence of God based on recent scientific discoveries. The authors maintain that scientists have been claiming to explain the world for the last four centuries without feeling the need to turn to God the Creator. Nowadays, however, they consider our world to exist in alliance with God. This line of thought relies on five modern revolutionary scientific discoveries, four of which are in the fields of physics and cosmology — the heat death of the Universe, the theory of relativity, the Big Bang, the fine-tuned universe and biology (Bolloré & Bonnassies, 2021, pp. 19-20) — in order to prove the existence of God. In this article, we discuss, in the light of contemporary science, the assertions and assumptions employed by these authors in order to develop their line of reasoning. We specifically focus on three of the physical and cosmological concepts that they applied : the heat death of the Universe, the Big Bang and the Anthropic Principle. Our discussion brings to light the fact that their statements require further qualification.

\u0000* * * \u0000A large part of contemporary physics claims that motion has been abolished. The reasons for this argument are to be found in the neglect of common sensitivity, in the mathematizing of physics, and finally in the rejection of the distinction between power and act. Such a view of the world, however, is full of contradictions. This serves to demonstrate that the physical approach needs to be completed by a natural philosophy that is more in keeping with everyday experience and language. After having addressed this assessment, we go on to explain how one can accommodate motion without being obliged to abandon the achievements of physics. An interpretation of the Minkowski diagram is proposed as a phase space, or in other words, as a set of possibilities where the occupied points in space are privileged over the empty points.
