The once internationally \u0000respected educational system is collapsing, as evidenced by the dramatic decline \u0000of educational standards at Zimbabwe's largest and oldest university, the \u0000University of Zimbabwe, as a result of poor working conditions, inadequate \u0000funding and too much political interference in university matters, which have \u0000led to the deterioration of academic staff morale.
