The topic of learning difficulties has only begun to concern specialists in the last twenty years. Thus, going back to the past, we find that the problem of learning difficulties, although existing, did not concern specialists before the end of our century. The establishment and legalization of compulsory education has revealed a series of problems, including difficulties in education, ie. problems in learning, transmission and behavior that lead to adverse consequences both in school, in the family environment and mainly in the psycho-emotional development and balanced integration of the child in society.","PeriodicalId":81110,"journal":{"name":"Diogenes","volume":"111 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79207816","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Social isolation, physical absence from school and daily routines, as well as the fear of losing a loved family member are some of the biggest stress factors that children face. They feel new worries, such as whether they will bring home the virus and make someone in the family sick, or they may face stress due to changes in school routines and not hanging out with classmates. Some children may want to avoid school because of experienced peer mockery or because they are struggling with their mental health at school, whereas others may experience anxiety and fear of parting with friends.","PeriodicalId":81110,"journal":{"name":"Diogenes","volume":"13 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87866413","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Research shows that the changes experienced by individuals and families can result in mental health problems and dysfunctional adaptation to the stress caused by the coronavirus pandemic. For these reasons, the psychological support is important to help families cope with the challenges of the Covid 19 pandemic, to improve their mental health, and strengthen their individual and family resilience. Psychological support aims to help families adapt to the challenges they face and achieve a higher degree of functionality on a personal, partner, parent, family and social level.","PeriodicalId":81110,"journal":{"name":"Diogenes","volume":"65 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75178009","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition to the classical methods of training and education, they also need specially oriented methods for educational impact and training, corresponding to the needs for the formation, recovery and improvement of impaired functions. Children with special educational needs need daily relationships and contacts with normal children. In this way, children with learning difficulties are provided with an environment to achieve the main goal - the formation of their socially adaptive behavior. At the heart of this approach is integration. The integration process must be bilateral. On the one hand, to include work on the socialization of children with disabilities in their usual environment, and on the other - to change the attitude of the environment, respectively the attitudes of people towards them. School integration implies enriching the environment for children with SEN, applying a system of measures to provide them with the necessary educational services in the general education system, to meet their needs, desires, interests and aspirations in such a way as to achieve the greatest possible their effective education and development.","PeriodicalId":81110,"journal":{"name":"Diogenes","volume":"56 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80814712","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
