Culture was positive in 78.9%. Corneal ulcers healed with intense antibiotic therapy in nearly all patients. Serum agglutination (SAT) and SAT/Coombs titers were positive at 1:320 and 1:160, respectively. In Case 2, a 12-year-old-girl diagnosis of left brucellosis uveitis was made. Both SAT and SAT/Coombs titers were positive at 1:1280. The mean preoperative best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was 0.26 +/- 0.26 at one week 0.49 +/- 0.25 and 0.9 +/- 0.28 at follow-ups.
