Results. Data showed dexamethasone had no effect on bFGF in AqH, but reduced FGFR1 in LECs. After six months treatment, cells were detected under posterior capsule in 4/12 lenses. In vitro observations revealed a down-regulated FGFR1 or beta-crystallin by dexamethasone. Examination of her left eye revealed loose corneoscleral sutures with corneal vascularization and white deposit in the cornea in front of the blood vessels. She underwent laser photocoagulation but later developed necrotizing scleritis. Orbital floor reconstruction is delayed after follow up. Enophthalmos recovered 8 months after the surgery and radiologic findings improved. Testing revealed optic nerve head drusen (ONHD) bilaterally causing enlarged blind spots (pseudo-bitemporal hemianopia).
