It is reproducible, efficient and simple. Several other and newer applications of immobilized stationary-phase liquid chromatography have been reported, including the purification of membrane proteins, the synthesis of biomolecules and the simultaneous determination of enzyme activity and enantioselectivity. This review discusses several chemical penetration enhancers that have been investigated as potential tools to increase </span>drug flux<span>. In addition, lipid-based delivery systems offer an attractive alternative to traditional drug vehicles.
