This fact then gave rise to various responses such as placing the no-littering signs conveyed through prayer and swearing. This paper aims to examine the discourse elements, the functions and strategies of speech acts, and the use of discourse context. By qualitatively classifying data obtained from several articles and pictures related to the issue, this paper found that in various no-littering-sign through prayers and/or swearing, the discourse was formed from the core elements of the prohibition and various supporting elements, namely more alert preparation, gounder, imposition, and identity. The speech act is in the form of a forbidden-directive speech act to others, but is conveyed through a request-directive speech act to God in order to get a more substantial perlocutionary effect. This is conveyed by explicit and implicit, direct and indirect strategies, literal and non-literal, and express and implied speech acts. The context used relates to life quality and condition. Thus, the emotive function of language is more dominantly used in this type of no-littering sign than the conative function which is generally found in directive speech acts. \u0000Salah satu masalah utama masyarakat terkait sampah adalah membuangnya secara sembarangan. Sebagai respons, kemudian muncullah berbagai reaksi seperti rambu larangan membuang sampah sembarangan yang disampaikan melalui doa dan sumpah serapah. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji unsur-unsur wacana, fungsi dan strategi tindak tutur, serta pemanfaatan konteks wacana tersebut. Dengan mengklasifikasikan data secara kualitatif melalui beberapa artikel dan gambar yang terkait dengan masalah tersebut, tulisan ini menemukan bahwa dalam berbagai tanda larangan membuang sampah sembarangan melalui doa dan/atau umpatan, wacana terbentuk dari unsur inti larangan dan berbagai unsur pendukung. Tindak tutur tersebut berupa tindak tutur direktif terlarang kepada orang lain, tetapi disampaikan melalui tindak tutur direktif permintaan kepada Tuhan agar memperoleh efek perlokusi yang lebih substansial. Hal ini disampaikan melalui strategi eksplisit dan implisit, strategi langsung dan tidak langsung, literal dan non literal, serta tindak tutur tersurat dan tersirat. Konteks yang digunakan berkaitan dengan kualitas dan kondisi hidup, khususnya yang bersifat celaka dan penderitaan. One of them is the blending of traditions in the face of people's modernity, such as the link between Islam and the indigenous Samin's traditional beliefs. The purpose of this study is to conduct a phenomenological investigation into the Samin Kudus custom of marriage contracts. Data was gathered using descriptive techniques such as observation, documentation, and interviews, and then analyzed using Edmund Husserl's phenomenological methodology. According to the findings, the marriage contract was held between the groom and the bride through the Samin custom of the marriage contract procession. This is due to the fact that the potential groom is of Samin custom practitioners who also embraces Islam belief, whereas the bride is a Muslimah. In addition, the marital contract procession is a harmonization across traditions in the study of phenomenology, specifically in harmonizing customs and religion through the stages of nyumuk, mbalesi gunem, ngendek, and paseksen. \u0000Diskursus sosial dan budaya kerap kali menjadi momok dalam kehidupan masyarakat majemuk. Salah satu di antaranya ialah harmonisasi tradisi di tengah modernitas umat seperti keterkaitan antara Islam dan adat kepercayaan Samin. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini ialah untuk melakukan pendalaman fenomenologis terhadap akad nikah berdasarkan adat Samin Kudus. Data penelitian dihimpun melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara dengan teknik deskriptif, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teori fenomenologi Edmund Husserl. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akad nikah yang dilangsungkan antara pengantin pria dan wanita melalui prosesi akad nikah berdasarkan adat Samin. Hal ini disebabkan pengantin pria adalah seorang keturunan adat namun telah berstatus sebagai muslim, sedangkan pengantin wanita beragama Islam. {"title":"Ketahanan Moderasi Beragama Mahasiswa di Tengah Melting Pot Gerakan Keagamaan di Surakarta","authors":"M. Fuadi","doi":"10.37680/adabiya.v16i2.1072","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.37680/adabiya.v16i2.1072","url":null,"abstract":"Besides being famous as a city that has a rich Javanese cultural heritage, in Surakarta, Central Java, there are also various religious-based views and organizations, ranging from those that can be categorized as the moderate groups to the radical ones. The existence of one of the PTKIN (State Islamic Universities), namely UIN Raden Mas Said in Surakarta, certainly makes it a place for various views to flow. This study discusses the influence of religious background on the religious attitudes of UIN Raden Mas Said students. Through qualitative research methods employing surveys, this study concludes that the large variety of religious organizations in Surakarta does not necessarily affect students' religious understandings and attitudes. In contrast to several previous studies which indicated a relationship between student activities and the puritan fundamentalist movement, this study proves that the students still have a moderate, inclusive, tolerant religious understanding, respect for tradition, and are loyal to the state ideology. Amid the potential for exclusivity as an excess of being in a melting pot of various religious views, students have resilience in maintaining an attitude of religious moderation. \u0000Selain populer sebagai kota yang memiliki kekayaan warisan budaya Jawa, di Surakarta Jawa Tengah juga terdapat beragam aliran dan organisasi masyarakat berbasis keagamaan, mulai dari yang dapat dikategorikan moderat hingga radikal. Keberadaan salah satu PTKIN (Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri), yakni UIN Raden Mas Said di Surakarta, tentu menjadikannya sebagai tempat bermuaranya berbagai aliran. Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh latar belakang keagamaan terhadap sikap beragama mahasiswa UIN Raden Mas Said. Dengan metode penelitian kualitatif melalui survei, penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa banyaknya ragam aliran keagamaan yang di Surakarta tidak otomatis memengaruhi pemikiran mahasiswa menjadi radikal. Berbeda dengan beberapa penelitian sebelumnya yang mengindikasikan adanya hubungan antara kegiatan mahasiswa dengan gerakan puritan fundamentalis, penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa mahasiswa masih memiliki pemahaman keagamaan yang moderat, inklusif, toleran, menghargai tradisi, dan setia terhadap ideologi negara. The mosque, a place for worship for Muslims, is a building that often experiences acculturation in its building design. Cipaganti Mosque, one of the oldest mosque in Bandung, might be identified by its Java style, Sunda style, and also Europe style. However, this mosque also reflects Islamic culture which include all architectural aspects of the building. This research aims to examine the extent to which Islamic culture exists in this mosque, and how the acculturation of the three cultures with Islamic culture becomes an inseparable part of the building architecture. Using a qualitative method with a descriptive approach divided into several stages, namely observation, documentation, and data analysis, the research was able to obtain a comprehensive and objective of a variety of cultural acculturation in Cipaganti Mosque building. Finally, found that the acculturation of Islamic culture in mosques was explicit and was found to be comprehensive from all aspects of the building. This acculturation, consisting of Islamic culture, Western European culture, Javanese culture, and Sundanese culture, makes Cipaganti Mosque has a unique architectural concept and makes this building one of the cultural heritage buildings in the city of Bandung. \u0000Islam memiliki pengaruh yang kuat dalam kehidupan masyarakat, khususnya di Indonesia, termasuk dalam arsitektur masjid, yang dipengaruhi oleh beberapa budaya. Masjid, tempat beribadah umat Islam, merupakan bangunan yang sering mengalami akulturasi dalam desain bangunannya. Masjid Cipaganti, salah satu masjid tertua di Bandung, mungkin bisa dikenali dari gaya Jawa, gaya Sunda, dan juga gaya Eropa. Namun, masjid ini juga mencerminkan budaya Islam yang mencakup semua aspek arsitektur bangunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji sejauh mana budaya Islam ada di masjid ini, dan bagaimana akulturasi ketiga budaya tersebut dengan budaya Islam menjadi bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari arsitektur bangunan. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang terbagi dalam beberapa tahapan yaitu observasi, dokumentasi, dan analisis data, penelitian ini mampu memperoleh gambaran yang komprehensif dan objektif tentang berbagai akulturasi budaya pada bangunan Masjid Cipaganti. Akhirnya, ditemukan bahwa akulturasi budaya Islam di masjid-masjid secara eksplisit dan ditemukan menyeluruh dari semua aspek bangunan. Penelusuran ini memudahkan pengguna internet dalam mencari informasi. strategi penelusuran informasi apa saja yang bisa digunakan oleh pengguna internet pada search engine google dalam pencarian informasi. Strategi penelusuran yang paling sederhana, yaitu hanya memasukkan istilah tanpa taktik atau belum dilakukan secara sistematis, sehingga mesin pencari memberikan hasil penelusuran tanpa ada batasan, dan membanjirnya hasil penelusuran pun terjadi. Pengetahuan tentang strategi penelusuran informasi melalui search engine sudah seharusnya dimiliki oleh user, siswa dan para pencari informasi yang menjadikan internet sebagai sumber informasi. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menarasikan, bagaimana mereka survive dalam konflik, apa saja yang dilakukan agar mereka bertahan hidup dalam konflik baik personal dan keluarga, adakah mereka melakukan usaha-usaha untuk memulihkan diri dari dampak konflik baik secara personel maupun ramai-ramai, adakah mereka melakukan usaha-usaha untuk menyelesaikan konflik di wilayah mereka termasuk menuntut keadilan dan mendokumentasi peristiwa-peristiwa yang pernah terjadi di Aceh khusus peristiwa konflik aceh 1989-2004 yang berbasis pada memori masyarakat aceh khususnya perempuan. Dengan menggunakan penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif analitis, yaitu penelitian yang dimaksudkan sebagai upaya eksplorasi mengenai suatu kenyataan social dalam perspektif sejarah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perempuan merupakan yang paling lemah ketika konflik berlangsung karena ketidakmampuan mereka untuk berpindah ke tempat lebih aman untuk melindungi diri dari ancaman kekerasan seperti uapaya yang dilakukan oleh laki-laki, disebabkan karena tanggungjawab mereka terhadap anak, keluarga dan harta benda. Konflik Aceh-Jakarta memakan waktu 60 (enam puluh) tahun lamanya, sejak Indonesia berproses mendapatkan kemerdekaan penuh dari kolonial Belanda dan berakhir dengan lahirnya perundingan MoU Helsinki tahun 2005 di Aceh. Dalam rentang waktu tersebut, hubungan Aceh-Jakarta telah mengalami pasang surut dengan empat kali perundingan damai dan empat kali pemberian otonomi khusus sebagai solusi penyelesaian konflik Aceh-Jakarta. Tulisan ini mengkaji alasan-alasan yang mendasari terjadinya konflik masa lalu Aceh-Jakarta dan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan hubungan Aceh-Jakarta pasca MoU Helsinki 2005 mengalami pasang surut. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini ialah deskriftif-kualitatif dengan teknik observasi partisipatif, yaitu observasi dan partisipasi langsung pada objek kajian yang sedang berlaku di Aceh. He is no stranger to literary lovers and connoisseurs. His phenomenal works made Kahlil Gibran famous. His life experience also adds its unique value to his works. The various meanings hidden behind each of his works deserve further analysis. Some of them are typical poems from Kahlil Gibran. He has his way of expressing the true meaning of life through his poems. Therefore, this study will show the symbolic meaning of these poems by using the hermeneutical analysis method from Paul Ricoeur. This method explains the meaning of the symbol in real life. A symbol is a form that gives meaning to every word or sentence contained in a literary work. The result of this analysis is the discovery of various kinds of symbols contained in the poems by Kahlil Gibran, including symbols of love, life, and death. Indonesia's fight against the spread of online fake news has been going on for many years. However, in 2017, the country experienced the biggest challenges in the bid to battle and resolve the rise of post-truth politics in the country. In addition, the spread of fake news in Islam is prohibited and perspectives from Islamic law equally discouraged the same. There is no harm in making gossip focused on sharing real experiences and emotions but Islam forbids any information being made with the intention of spreading rumors or falsehood. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to discuss online fake news based on Indonesia Law and Islamic Perfectives. The study conducts descriptive analytical literature review methods without using a basic assumption or proposition. Also, the literature used by the author for data collection includes primary and secondary sources from previous studies, such as publications, reference books, online news verification; and ayahs from Qur’an & Hadith that are centered on Indonesia Cyber Crime Law Settings. Cybercriminal offense governed in Law No. 11 Year 2008 on Information and Electronic Transactions (UUITE) relating to online fake news item number one: criminal offenses involved in illegal activities, such as: distribution or propagation, transmission, unavailability of illegal content, including: ethics (Article 27[1] UUITE), gambling (Article 27 [2] UUITE); disrespect or defamation (Article 27 [3] UUITE); outrage or threats (Article 27 [4] UUITE), hoax manipulating and damaging customers (Article 28 [1] UUITE); creates a sense of ethnic hostility-based bigotry (Article 28 [2] UUITE). Equally, online fake news is also not allowed in Islam and that is evident in some ayahs stated in the Qur’an, which among are: Qur’an (49:6) & (24:15). Since online fake news has to do with spreading lie, falsehood, rumors and gossips, Islam condemns all kinds of deceit.
