Architectures for data-driven economic systems currently focus on the exchange of datasets and leave the processing of datasets to background mechanisms. Without binding commitments, agents in data sharing situations favor the ”no data sharing” strategy. We present a broker framework that facilitates contract-based exchange, trading, and processing of data sets between agents under conditions of ”lack of trust”. Electronic contracts guarantee ownership and control of data datasets, the execution of defined data analysis tasks based on AI models, and the sharing of results according to contractual commitments. A technical architecture (TUCANA) is presented that provides a federated data economic ecosystem including a broker framework. Twitch, one of the largest streaming sites, has implemented measures to protect and promote marginalized groups, including the LGBTQIA+ community. One example is the “LGBTQIA+” tag a tag a streamer can attach to their steam. However, little is known regarding how the Twitch VGLS community actually reacts to this design feature and how such a feature affects LGBTQIA+ streamers’ online presence and experiences of visibility. By qualitatively analyzing 381 threads and comments from the Twitch subreddit (r/Twitch), in this paper we identify the impacts of the Twitch Tag system on the VGLS community’s perceptions of gender and sexuality in streaming, the streaming community’s ability to find LGBTQIA+ streamers, and harassment towards LGBTQIA+ streamers. We not only expand existing knowledge of LGBTQIA+ gamers’ unique experiences of online presence and visibility in streaming but also provide potential design recommendations for future live streaming platforms to better support LGBTQIA+ streamers and viewers.","PeriodicalId":74512,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the ... Prior research has identified benefits of DP for ride-sharing organizations, drivers and consumers. A legal reform in Finland in July 2018 made DP of taxi rides legally possible. However, even though traditional Finnish dispatch organizations have adopted different technology (e.g., ride-hailing apps), they have not adopted DP. To find out the reasons for the non-adoption, we conducted a qualitative case study among Finnish dispatch organizations. Utilizing IT artifact as an analytical lens, we identified ten aspects related to the technology, the structure and the context within which DP is embedded that help explain why it has not been adopted. We propose that DP in the taxi industry should be seen more broadly than just as “Uber-type” real-time DP, as it has been viewed in previous literature.
