A day-old broiler chicks with total number of two hundred and four (204) (Ross 308) were randomly allotted to eight (8) dietary treatments with four (4) replicate pens per treatment (average of 6 birds per replicate pen). Chicks in each treatment were allowed ad libitum access to their diet and water for thirty five (35) days. Dietary supplement for the 35 days were: Corn-soyabean meal basal diet (control); control +0.01% antibiotics; control +0.1% probiotics; control +0.02% prebiotics; control +0.06% essential oil; control +0.6% organic acid; control +0.1% enzyme and control + all the additives in the treatment groups (mixture). Growth performance results showed that there was significant increase (p<0.05) in final weight, total weight gain, average daily, weight gain, feed conversion ratio and feed efficiency of broiler of broiler chicks fed diet of antibiotics and prebiotics compared to the control group. Studies on the Ileal morphology parameters from day 1 to day 35 of broiler chicks fed with antibiotics and prebiotics additives indicated that there was significant increase (p<0.05) in villus height, illus width and muscle thickness of the chicks when compared with the control group. Result for the cecal morphology revealed that there was significant increase (p<0.05) in mucosal thickness, muscularis thickness and the ratio of mucosal thickness to muscularis thickness of chicks fed antibiotics and prebiotics compared to the control group. Studies on the microbial ileal and cecal composition showed that there was significant decrease (p<0.05) in ileal and cecal pathogenic bacteria; E. coli and Salmonella sp. of fed supplement of antibiotics, probiotics and prebiotics compared to the control group. There was a significant decrease (p<0.05) in Lactobacillus sp. in ileal and cecal of broiler chicks with fed supplement of antibiotics, probiotics and prebiotics compared to the control group. The present study has shown the efficacy and wide utility of prebiotics especially for organic practicing poultry farming; it has also validated their usage(s) as good substitute for antibiotic and other adjourning anti-microbial growth promoter xenobiotics whose applications has been banned in poultry industries.","PeriodicalId":7436,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Applied Sciences","volume":"7 1","pages":"122-134"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87267453","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Khalil","doi":"10.3844/AJASSP.2021.135.151","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.3844/AJASSP.2021.135.151","url":null,"abstract":"Within the arranging and execution assessment of solar energy projects, particularly within the planning and estimation of solar photovoltaic sources as elective energy sources within the future, exact evaluation of Diffuse Solar Radiation (DSR) is one of the essential and basic issues. The target of this article is to use the new model to predict DSR in four different locations in Saudi Arabia. The author explored the available meteorological and radiation data. The data covers the 25 years from 1990 to 2014 and were measured at Al-Baha, Abha, Jeddah and Taif locations in Saudi Arabia. Through detailed statistical evaluation and analysis, 19 empirical models were tested to construct the best empirical model to estimate the monthly average daily DSR of Saudi Arabia. Using widely used statistical errors, namely MBE, MPE, RMSE, U95, R, t-test and GPI the proposed correlation model was compared with 19 models provided in the literature. Through this analysis, the cubic empirical equation model is selected as the good model. Compared with these existing models, this model reveals accurate results with minimal statistical errors. Based on these results, Model 22 gives the highest GPI value. The conclusion is the cubic equation model of the diffusion fraction (i.e., D/G = 0.215+2.123 (S/So) -3.547(S/So)2+5.142 (S/So)3 is the best agreement model that has been mentioned in the previous discussion. This model is a generalized equation in Saudi Arabia, which can forecast the monthly average daily diffuse radiation on the horizontal plane at any site under similar climatic conditions without the measured climatic conditions. Experts or architects can use this model to perform site selection and technical and financial evaluation of solar energy applications and photovoltaic technology.","PeriodicalId":7436,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Applied Sciences","volume":"23 1","pages":"135-151"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87074863","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The HEGY unit root test suggests that industrial growth and inflationexperience only stochastic trend and no persistent stochastic behaviour at anyother seasonal frequencies, while stock return follows persistent seasonaltrend. The study observes that causality goes from stock return to industrialgrowth, although the extent of causality is very low, but not the other wayround. This finding has significant policy implications particularly in thecontext of financial sector reforms in India. Inflation has negative impact onstock returns, while the innovations in stock returns have not transmitted toinflation.","PeriodicalId":7436,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Applied Sciences","volume":"28 1","pages":"107-121"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81219380","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Gmel in a culture. In the literature, the growth and development of Salsola orientalis S. Gmel is readily eaten by animals in all seasons and is a good fatty food for sheep. The eaten part of the plants is annual shoots with leaves; flowers and fruits, often more lignified lower parts of the bushes. Therefore, it is difficult to find plants in grazed areas that are not damaged by animals, which makes Salsola orientalis quite suitable for making hay. Despite the practical value of this species and great attention from researchers, the growth and development of Salsola orientalis, taking into account the influence of the ecological conditions of the Karakalpak part of the Kyzyl-Kum Desert, have been little studied.","PeriodicalId":7436,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Applied Sciences","volume":"20 1","pages":"280-284"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88215963","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
