This paper addresses such a task by investigating the effect of ocean random waves on the inverse kinematics process. Ship motions in terms of a surge, heave, sway, roll, pitch, and yaw motions are produced via Marine Systems Simulator (MSS) toolbox and considered as non-deterministic disturbances at the base of the manipulator. Given the specifications of the ship and manipulator, extensive numerical simulations and their validation are performed. The results reveal that the randomness of ocean waves seems to be appearing on the inverse results due to strong coupling among the ocean waves, manipulator system, and the ship. The latter slows down the iteration process where the computational time follows the increase of sea state code, and the increment has a non-linear trend. The results can be used as a baseline for developing visual servoing based adaptive control for manipulator system stabilization.","PeriodicalId":71865,"journal":{"name":"海洋工程装备与技术","volume":"1 1","pages":"50-56"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84790061","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Microplastic debris accumulated in ice has posed a global threat to various marine organisms and ecological processes for many years. In general, microplastics represent marine life, and through them, a person consumes marine products. Microplastics pollute ice, water, water, and fishery organisms that are used for the economy. Microplastic particles (less than 5 mm in size) pose a particular danger to humans due to their high mobility in the marine environment, their ability to be included in the food chain at all levels, the accumulation of various persistent organic pollutants, heavy metals, and other hazardous substances carried by ocean currents over long distances on the surface. Our initial survey shows that microplastics are found in seawater, on the seashore, and the seabed, in ice, and marine life. The research needs to be continued to get a complete picture of microplastic pollution in the Arctic Ocean.","PeriodicalId":71865,"journal":{"name":"海洋工程装备与技术","volume":"20 1","pages":"30-34"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80832379","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Full geological fault parameters of Tsunami wave generation and scenarios, and historical data of earthquakes are routinely employed as tools to estimate propagation properties of the Tsunami wave with high resolution. The Artificial Intelligent (AI) methods fit simulated Tsunami to real-time observed data by iteratively updating estimates of propagation properties. In this paper, we explore approaches to apply AI by preparing a dataset based on a linear tsunami model (TUNAMI) and conducting an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) training constructed based on Random Forest (RF) regression algorithm. AI Performance is assessed through controlled numerical experiments and resulting Tsunami height (SSH) and Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) resulted from both approaches.","PeriodicalId":71865,"journal":{"name":"海洋工程装备与技术","volume":"2 1","pages":"75-79"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88168356","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, land conversion from mangrove forest to other land cover is unavoidable - including mangrove forest areas in Muaragembong, Kabupaten Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia. Muaragembong has been facing physical and anthropogenic threats to its sustainability. Mangrove forest monitoring is, therefore, fundamental to determine the preventive and responsive actions. This study analyzed the mangrove cover changes of Muaragembong for the last 30 years (1990–2020) using Google Earth Engine (GEE). The extraction of 1990, 2000, 2010, and 2020 images was from Landsat 5 TM, Landsat 7 ETM+, Landsat 5 TM, and Landsat 8 OLI respectively. This study used Mangrove Vegetation Index (MVI) to enhance the images, which considers the greenness and humidity in its equation. The results showed that the mangrove areas in Muaragembong decreased from 1991 to 2000 (41.16%), gradually increased from 2000 to 2010 (20.05%), strongly increased from 2010 to 2020 (181.39%). The mangrove area of Muaragembong was 550.52 hectares in 1991, 323.91 hectares in 2000, 388.85 hectares in 2010, and 1,094 hectares in 2020. The trends followed the presence and absence of mangrove conservation actions in the given year or period.","PeriodicalId":71865,"journal":{"name":"海洋工程装备与技术","volume":"84 2 1","pages":"35-38"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75187182","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Also known as Tsunami Coastal Acoustic Tomography (TCAT), one of these systems was installed in Karangasem-Bali using a buoy platform. TCAT requires power for the electronic system and energy to transmit the acoustic signal through its transducer. The charging system is carried out by installing a solar cell on the surface of the buoy. Thus, a monitoring system is needed to observe the charging process and power consumption. The system also observes the temperature and humidity in the buoy so that the environmental conditions of electronic equipment can be monitored. In addition, the actual position and buoy shift also can be observed. The monitoring system can also serve as early detection of problems when data acquisition does not work properly or the buoy shifts or drifts too far from the initial position. This paper is aimed to discuss the main architecture and sensors utilized in the system. Results indicate that the monitoring system can function properly and be able to monitor power and environmental conditions, yet the charging system needs to be optimized. To improve the accuracy of the monitoring system, sensors that are more precise and calibrated in measurement are required.","PeriodicalId":71865,"journal":{"name":"海洋工程装备与技术","volume":"61 1","pages":"68-74"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78401002","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
