Çiçek","doi":"10.12693/aphyspola.143.298","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.12693/aphyspola.143.298","url":null,"abstract":"In this work, pure and with 1, 3, 5, 10, and 15 wt% multi-walled carbon nanotube addition Bi 2 Sr 2 CaCu 2 O 8+ s glass–ceramic materials have been investigated in terms of thermal, structural, microstructural, electrical, and magnetic properties. Multi-walled carbon nanotubes with a purity of 96% were used to enhance electrical transport properties. Thermal properties have been examined using differential thermal analysis. According to the differential thermal analysis, the multi-walled carbon nanotube addition reduced the melting temperature and slightly increased the crystallization activation energy of the BiSrCaCuO material. X-ray analyses showed that all samples have tetragonal symmetry and did not change with addition, but a small change in the c -axis is observed. Scanning electron microscope analyses showed no significant morphological change. The effect of the additive on the resistivity measurements was found to be limited, and zero resistance temperature increased up to a level of 5 wt% addition and then decreased drastically for higher addition cases. The hole concentration of the samples was calculated, and it was found that there was a shift towards the over-doped region with the addition. For the transport critical current density measurements, the highest increase of about 30 % was obtained for the sample with 5 wt% multi-walled carbon nanotube addition, but in high addition cases, significant losses were obtained. Revealing the macroscopic dynamics of systems under different configurations of parameters and topology is a topic worthy of discussion and comes with great challenges. In this study, we discuss the effect of different parameter configurations on the damped free vibration of a classical spring oscillator network. On the regular network, we give the analytical expression satisfied by the free vibration of the system under over-damping and critical damping. Furthermore, we discuss the fastest and slowest exponential rates of decay of the system for different parameter conditions. In conjunction with quadratic eigenvalue theory, we extend the above analysis from regular networks to complex networks. We give a general method for calculating the eigenvalue spectrum of the system for arbitrary parameter configurations. In conjunction with the stability of the system and the rate of decay of the exponential rate, we also give numerical simulation results for the second largest and smallest real parts of the eigenvalues of the system. The structural, morphological, and optical properties of PbS thin films were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, scanning probe microscope and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy analyses. These analyses reveal that surfactant sodium lauryl ether sulphate plays a key role in modifying the surface roughness and optical properties of PbS thin films. The average surface roughness decreased from 87.9 to 42.8 nm after adding sodium lauryl ether sulfate to the chemical bath solutions. With the increasing sodium lauryl ether sulfate content, the optical band gaps of the PbS thin films increased from 2.10 to 2.52 eV. To overcome the difficulties, mainly linked to the complex topological events while using the standard vertex technique in the presence of particles, a modified version of grain growth simulation is presented. The simulation is based on input data from electron backscatter diffraction measurements. Two hexagonal lattices discretize the physical space. One grid stores the grain orientation data, i.e., Euler’s angles ( ϕ 1 , ϕ, ϕ 2 ) . Nodes (vertices) are located in the second grid, where particles are randomly distributed. Vertex simulations, by mean triple junctions dynamics only, were performed to highlight the influence of the surface fraction of the particles on the grain size distribution, the limiting mean grain size, and the edges per grain distribution.
