Various groups hold varying degrees of power in society, employing tactics to gain and expand it. Politics is essentially the use of power to achieve goals, often stemming from conflicts between personal and organizational objectives. This occurs in situations marked by autocratic decision-making, unclear authority, resource scarcity, and uncertainty, when organizational politics contradict employees’ interests, trust erodes, prioritizing individual concerns over collective goals. Constructive politics, however, empower and differentiate between ethical and unethical behavior. Gender, a socially constructed variable, is influenced by psychology and sociology literature, affecting power dynamics. This paper explores the interplay of power and politics in society, striving for a more equitable and progressive outcome while addressing their contribution to gender inequality. Globalization and economic restructuring impose changes, fostering discrimination and preferential treatment. We examine policy implementations in food, agriculture, health, and education, finding that despite significant changes, they often fail to benefit disadvantaged populations.","PeriodicalId":71518,"journal":{"name":"Psychology Research","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136233407","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, many researchers have focused their research on Chinese Women’s Cinema, but at present, it seems that there is still a research gap to discuss and analyze the changes in women’s status and identity in China in recent years. This paper will take the famous early Chinese Women’s Cinema Raise the Red Lantern as an example for discussion and analysis. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the oppression of women in Chinese feudal patriarchal society through the details in the film Raise the Red Lantern . The significance of this paper is to appeal for gender equality in China by analyzing the oppression of women by the feudal patriarchal society in the film Raise the Red Lantern . Through careful analysis and research, it is concluded that the film Raise the Red Lantern profoundly criticizes the oppression and exploitation of women and vulnerable groups by the Republic of China through shooting details. At the same time, it is in sharp contrast with the independent thought and social status of Chinese women in the 21st-century.","PeriodicalId":71518,"journal":{"name":"Psychology Research","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136232989","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

He put the issue of human survival and the inner world high on his agenda. These concerns were precisely the existentialism in philosophy, which provoked a strong reaction in the world at that time. He relied on his sharp perspective to observe social phenomena and conveyed his thoughts through his movies, thus creating an ideal world characterized by his own thoughts. The existentialism theory he employed also contributed to the development of the film industry, endowing the film with a broader sense of beauty.","PeriodicalId":71518,"journal":{"name":"Psychology Research","volume":"5 4","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136233405","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We conducted a survey in which asking undergraduates at a Chinese university how they felt about different aspects of online education during the pandemic. We received responses from 1,088 students. A majority of the students (67.9%) thought that physical classroom is better than online education and MOOCs. The students believed that teachers have improved their ability to teach online since the pandemic (67.3%) and online teaching is a suitable option in the current situation (65.8%). The students expressed satisfaction with the online educational resources and teachers’ flexible use of online tools. However, the students felt that online education is stressful and affecting their health and social life. The pandemic has led to widespread use of online education, and we hope that online education can be better in the future.","PeriodicalId":71518,"journal":{"name":"Psychology Research","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135469801","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
